Starbucks

I will say when this location was 1^st built it, employees were really slow with making drinks (expected) ! But now they are lighting fast and they are there to please! There is one young college student that works the drive thru and she is always so friendly. She genuinely chats with you and helps you forget you’re waiting! I am there about 5 mornings out of the week so I need speedy and friendly service. You guys rock!

Love this Starbucks! It’s super clean and everything is new and tidy! Great place to meet, and much easier to get in and out compared to the other location down the road. They have a good selection of cups, mugs, coffee, etc. When I pass through Southaven, this is the only Starbucks I go to!

I wasn’t super impressed with my first visit here. My wife and I went through the drive thru to grab a coffee to go before our regular Sunday movie. The lady taking our order, although humerus at the time, said «Good morning, Good afternoon, good evening!» I guess she really didn’t know that it was 7:00 p.m.
After waiting in line for about 7 – 8 minutes (we were one of two cars), we finally got our order. We asked for an iced caramel macchiato. When she handed us our drink, it looked great. Unfortunately, for hot my wife and I (we shared a venti), our first sip was full of chunky caramel. They never mixed it up and all the caramel was gathered at the bottom. Although once we got past the caramel, the taste was great, I would have liked a little more attention to detail.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations. Clean and refreshing décor inside. Nice patio area outside. Friendly and quick staff. Another neat feature that is available at this location is the video chat ordering at drive thru. I got to try it the other morning. Ordered my usual, iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel.

Dependably good coffee and a comfortable place to get some work done for those of us who work in the field.

I love Starbucks early in the morning! I usually get a green tea Frappé either Grande or Tall– there’s nothing like having a iced concoction early in the am to get you going

We live in Olive Branch and have to pass two (three if you count Target) other Starbucks locations on Goodman to get to this one in Horn Lake– why would we do a crazy thing like that?! For the Clover Brewer! And it was totally worth it!
The Clover Brewer is fun to watch as it uses suction to brew special reserve coffees, freshly ground as you wait. This location has a bar right in front of the Clover so we were especially pleased.
The other seating is nice too — and super clean!
The staff was friendly. They didn’t even bat an eye when I asked for an empty cup for our toddler (if I don’t she tries to steal mine– and if I buy milk or water for her she just makes a mess, so I’m that customer for now– pick your battles, right?) in fact, when they gave it to her, they smiled and complemented her in her behavior.
We will make the drive every time we can.

I’ve been here multiple times in the past 6 months or so, and I am a fan. The staff is young and somewhat inexperienced, but they are beginning to get it together. At first, I had some issues getting refills with my gold card, but now they have the hang of it. It’s a great place for coffee and studying when I’m in town.

Love this location so much more than the Southaven location. It’s about 3 minutes farther away, but worth it for the cleaner, more modern, less-​busy location. Staff is super friendly, plenty of parking, and the drive thru line isn’t lined up to the street. There’s also more seating and they aren’t blaring the music when you’re trying to have a meeting with a client over coffee or get some work done on your laptop. Definitely a plus for me! So glad Desoto County added a 2^nd, more cozy, location!

I come here pretty often either on the way to work or from work. I had a few hiccups the first time or two but after that everything has been perfect!
I have a Starbuck’s cup that gets me like .10 off of things. If you get any frozen drink in this kind of cup, ask for a straw. The Mocha Frappuccino gave me trouble.
I personally don’t like Latte’s much because they’re not as sweet as I like, but the Caramel Flan Latte tasted ok once it had cooled down.

I have visited this location frequently since it has opened and ordered the Chia Tea Latte 4 times in a row. The first was great, the second was WAY too sweet, and the last two were inexplicably watery… I now stick to just plain dark brew if I visit this location. Any other Starbucks. chia tea latte all the way!
On the other hand, staff is relatively friendly and building is clean and organized.

Never opens on time. The cashier greets you with a «did you need something»? Ummm yeah why else would I be here at 530am?!? I expected more for the new location… Go up the street. These ladies take their dear sweet time with everything

This brand new Starbucks is the best one around this area. With a great atmosphere, new furniture, and a Clover brewing machine for Starbucks Reserve coffee you can’t go wrong! Plenty of Reserve coffee options too. Great and friendly staff, and a good number of seating options for both inside and out. This will be the new spot. And, for the fellow Southaven/​Horn Lake people, that means less movie theatre traffic on the weekends. Nice!
