Now this is a sandwich/sub shop. Since it’s not your typical fast food shop don’t expect to move through the line fast bc they cut their meat to order. It’s definitely worth the wait bc the quality of their meat is what sets them apart from other places. Love that you can get fresh cooked meat sandwiches as well. Yummy treat every time!

I’ve been here a few times and always get the same thing, the original Italian, Mike’s way. No complaints about the sub, it’s always good. However, today the place was filthy. There were 4 workers and two customers(us) at the time. They were playing on their phones, standing around doing nothing. I wanted to tell one to get a broom and the other to wipe the tables, but I’m not the manager. The other thing is the parking, it’s terrible! Not nearly enough parking for all the shops there. I couldn’t enjoy my sandwich as I watched people get out of their cars, flinging their doors, dinging the car next to them without a care. That may be the one reason I don’t go back — the parking. I gave three stars, not because of the food, for everything else.

The subs are awesome… When you can actually get one. Tonight my husband when in to get us 2 sandwiches at 8:00pm and they were OUTOFBREAD!!! An hour before the closed!!! So he went to Jimmy Johns. Three weeks ago I went at 8:45pm on a Thursday with my cousin after yoga. The chairs were put up and ALL the food was put away, they said they were sorry they couldn’t make sandwiches for us, we left, along with another couple that had just pulled up and… Went to Jimmy Johns. I hope that if the manager of this facility knew this, they would be upset. However, this trend seems to be the practice of this location. Well I guess they will help keep Jimmy Johns in business. Very disappointed.

Boo. First and last time at this place. Person taking the order said if this is the first time to order the original Italian. We made it a super sub. What a tasteless sandwich. The bread had no taste. the meat was nothing special for being freshly sliced and the sandwich had so much oil on it that it dripped all over the place. Gross.

After hearing good things about the franchise from others, as well as getting some coupons in the mail to try out the new location in Hopkins, We decided to give it a try. We came in shortly after 7 pm on 1÷15÷14 and ordered a Turkey and Provolone, and a Chicken Parm sub. It was fairly busy inside the restaurant still. It seemed as though they had just gotten through a rush, as the dining area was array and not too clean — which I can look past. What really got to me was the cashier — now it says on the receipt the name is «Jeff,» however it was definitely a younger woman(with brownish/black hair) ringing guests through the line. I was thoroughly disgusted with the lack of food handling knowledge/practice on her part. She was handling MONEY and cards with her gloves still on! I didn’t say anything, or tried not to think of it, thinking maybe she just didn’t like handling money(or at least hoping that was the case). After the line of people behind me dissipated, I noticed her(still with the same gloves on), handle some food, then proceed to make a telephone call on her pink cellular device, and then go back to handling food. REALLY? Do you not teach the basics of safe & proper food handling to your employees? Especially being a new restaurant to the area, reaching out to new guests every day — this should give you more of an incentive(besides the obviousness of keeping the general public safe) to teach proper handling of food to your staff. Lets just say that if I hadn’t been starving, I probably wouldn’t have finished the second half of my sub after watching this. I took some time to read up on the company before writing this review. It talks about the high quality product(which I agree) and the goal of impeccable service standards — which I don’t necessarily agree with on in this particular visit. No one that worked at the store was exceptionally friendly — unless you count the kid that greeted me saying«hey man, what would you like»). This was my first visit, so I wasn’t necessary familiar with product — I would have appreciated a little more personal attention or small talk, wondering if we had ever visited yet, or if we had questions before ordering. Maybe its just me, but working in the service industry for quite some time, I wasn’t very impressed with the service — I didn’t walk away feeling the WOW. Value seems to be fair — the quality seems to be good, and I don’t have a problem paying for something of high quality. My only concerns were the cleanliness and health standards and what seems to be an extreme lack of training for a brand new store. I don’t know if I will return, at least to this location. I’ve heard that the Woodbury location is «the bomb» — maybe I’ll try that one, but this one just hasn’t done it for me. I hope for the business’ sake they take some time to train the staff on proper food handling before it gets them in trouble in the long run.

This just opened down the street from my apartment, and I was glad to get coupons to get a free sub-worth the trip to me then! The sandwich I ordered-Chicken Parmesan-was decent enough. I don’t think it was anything to get too excited over-but since I had a free coupon then I was fine with it. I would say that overall, the sub was less desirable than one I could get from Subway or Quizno’s and I would probably at least try coming here again after the initial frenzy of opening had died down. Other than the just-okay sub, the eating area was also pretty dirty and you could tell that the workers only cleaned it whenever someone had the chance to-but since our cashier went in the back and had her cell phone, then I’m sure time wasn’t necessarily working against anyone. That same cashier used the work gloves she was wearing to ring people paying with cash through, and as someone whom wouldn’t want your $ 5 bill rubbed all over my sub-I would suggest watching out-literally watching with your own eyes-to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen to you if you’re venturing out to try this place.

Wow, I had been to a jersey Mike’s in Florida a year or so and it was a great experience and great food. But this location I will not return to! My girlfriend and myself went cause she’s never been, we got there and were checking out the menu when this young blonde kid says to my girlfriend«I can help you over here sweetie» which caught us both off guard. That is definitely not a way to talk to customers. After we got past him we got to another young kid and he started trying to make us look and feel like schmucks he was trying to tell us there was a menu behind us, we looked once but then he kept trying to get us to look… he thought he was being funny but it wasn’t. The only reason I may go back is cause the food was so good. And if it’s during the day because those two… kids… probably will be in school.

After driving by here many times, yesterday I would get my Jersey Mike’s Subs cherry popped. You walk in and it looks like your standard sub shop– Jimmy John’s or another Quiznos(the few that are still open). At Jersey Mike’s, they offer cold subs, hot subs, wraps, potato chips and cookies. They also give you the option to order online ahead of time and they offer catering. The workers here slice your choice of deli meat right before your very eyes. I ordered the #7– 99% fat free turkey breast with provolone cheese. I also had them add shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. They ask you if you want your sub Mike’s way– onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil & spices. I feel like their baked fresh daily bread is too big, thick and spongy. My sandwich reminded me of Cousin’s Subs, which isn’t a good thing. They also put way too much shredded lettuce in their subs. See attached photo. This location is very clean(due to the fact that they just had their grand opening). They also have a flat screen television in the corner– nice addition. I was really excited for a new sub shop I haven’t heard of. After yesterday’s experience, I think I’ll stick to Davannis, which is my spot for sub sandwich/hoagies. Jersey Mike’s is not very original. With all the other sandwich shops out there, you would think Mike’s would offer something different. Instead they fall short.

Great East Coast style subs. Italian had good amount of red wine vinegar and oil and nicely sliced meats and cheeses. Bread was good; not too crusty, not too soft. Staff was friendly and informative enough for first time visit. Online ordering available also.

We got a free coupon for a sub at the new sub place in Minnesota, Jersey Mike’s. We were out shopping at the Target across the street and decided to stop in and get our free sub. We had a welcoming greeting at the door and the dude asked us what we we like. I ordered the Big Kahuna cheesesteak. Then it happened! He actually threw meat and vegetables on the grill behind him. My wife and I looked at each other like, «Wow!» We told each other, «That is really cool!» Anyway, I ordered the sub to go, no problem with the free coupon. super great guy behind the counter. I opened the tin foil wrapped, still HOT! sub after the 15 minute ride home and it was piping hot with the melting cheese oozing goodness everywhere, like a double rainbow of heaven. The cheesesteak was chopped perfectly(Extra cool, that he chopped it on the grill, like they did when I visited Philly) The veggies were fantastic. the bread was spongy, with just the right amount of crispiness in the crust. This place was awesome, I can’t wait to try a cold one, but I had heard their hot subs were to die for. This is true.
