All glories to JK Tech Solutions ! When my iMac began revvin’ up the CPU fan speeds without the temps rising, I sort of figured that maybe making my Mac smoke almost as much as me could be causing some resigoo. .. some gunkification ! Checking online, JK seemed to have the best Unilocal ratings. . along with their very genuine seeming marketing. Once I spoke with Karen, it only got better. It takes a down-to-earth yet skilled person to grasp what a confused person is explaining to them, and I felt I was in good hands right away. $ 29.95 for the diagnostic, and $ 10 each-way to come pick it up, then deliver it when fixed. . and she drove nearly 40 miles after closing-up the place to get it !! That was a Thursday evening, and we agreed we’d speak Sat. as they closed. They were really busy and a little backed-up, but she was about to «get her hands on it» that afternoon(after-hours) and we’d speak Monday. When there was no message Monday, and no calls answered right up till closing time, I got progressively freaked, of course. .. . but she called 5:15 to tell me that their 1 day off had included a personal dilemma. A car accident that injured no one, yet led to the natural hospital precautions and running around all Monday dealing with car stuff. She was now back at the shop, ready to work till midnight. . catching up on repairs and making reassuring calls to wigged-out customers like me !! The next day she was ready to set-up delivery for the following day, but being on a night-off & at loose-ends without my digital baby, I said«I’m comin’ to You !!» At this point, my delightful visit included filling in details on all the extra things she’d done, and her deducting the $ 10 for the delivery ride I’d spared her. The whole thing came to $ 75 and it was worth every penny(twice as many pennies, in fact). I naturally hope it’s awhile before I need servicing again, but I know who I’m calling if I do !

My Sony Vaio Laptop was long overdue to get the jack fixed(it was very shaky and sometimes wouldn´t charge anymore). My husband found JK Tech Solutions on Unilocal and called them considering the good(few) reviews they had. At the beginning everything sounded good. They would pick up the laptop in 2 days, fix it(+/-a week) and deliver it back. That was the theory. After a week we had to call the company to ask what´s going on and when they will be ble to fix and deliver the laptop. The female employe said that she fixed the jack but she still can´t charge the laptop and turn it on so she will need a little more time to figure out the problem. Fine, no issues with that. A week later after a few calls, voice messages etc. without any answer from JK Tech Solutions the same lady finaly called us back saying, that she thinks that the motherboard is damaged and that there is nothing more she could do beside saving the data on an external. I already accepted the fact that I´m going to buy a new laptop but then, 2 days later my husband got a call from the company in whick the same worker explined him that my laptop is fine. How?! Well, it turned out that other couple came in with the same laptop/problem and that JK Tech Solutions again wasn´t capable to figure out what the issue is till they realized tht their universal chrging cable that they use to check the laptops was damaged! You will say it´s ok, accidents like that happen but no. I almost lost an expensive, working laptop because someone was too incompetent to check EVERYTHING. After that the same female worker told us that they will charge us only for the service and that she already ordered new cable nd will call us and deliver the laptop as soon they have the new cable. I don´t know where they ordered the cable… I had to wait over a week(again) without any informtion from JK… till one morning I left a very angry voice messge. She called back asking when would it be covenient to bring the laptop. I got my laptop back after over a month. The jack works but it´s still wobbly(I would expect better after such a long time and after paying the full service price). The overall experience with JK Tech Solutions is terrible. Incompetent staff and terrible customer service. I would never ever call them gain and never ever recommend them to anyone.

Very good service. I got my desktop fixed with them. NO headache! Just a little slow than what I expected. but, that’s ok. I have a laptop home to use instead. Fair price, 100 usd. They give you 30 days warranty as well. They have a lot of pcs to fix everyday, you have to wait in the line. So, be a little patient. It might take 3 days or more. I will go back to them again… but hopefully, my pc won’t break down any more

Took a little longer than expected to do a computer cleaning /AV installation. Price was fair, there is a $ 5 off coupon if you«like» them on facebook. Service was courteous. Found it slightly difficult to get in and out of their parking lot(they’re located right in Wappingers Falls, where the roads are steep and parking is generally tight anyway).

I, too, would give 6 starts if possible! One day, my laptop made that sound that says you’ve unplugged from power supply. I THOUGHT is was just my old ratty power cord finally got kaput. When the replacement didn’t make a difference, I was told by several people(not copmputer pros) that you could not fix it if the problem was«inside.» I took it to a local shop to see if it WAS inside, or perhaps the new power cord was bad… They said that the cords both worked, and that if the dc jack was the«cable kind» they could fix, but if the«solder kind» they could not. They said — without any inspection, they thought I had the solder kind. Now — they did not charge me for this. but it turned out, as I learned at JK Tech, it WAS the cable kind, but even so — they could ALSO fix the solder kind! And they quoted a VERY reasonable $ 20 for part, plus the $ 59.95diagnostic fee, which would be transferred to cover labor fee. They ordered the dc jack but it didn’t do the trick, so they ordered a second one, thinking perhaps the piece they got was bad. The second one didn’t fix the problem either, and that the issue must be with the motherboard. Now — I feel very confident that if they put in the new board and it didn’t work — I would only be charged that $ 60 diagnostic. But the good news is that it DID fix the problem, and my computer is now fine! The total charge was $ 139.95(diagnostic/labor fee and $ 80 for board). NOBODY I know of works at those prices. AND provides great service as well! THANKYOUJK Tech Solutions!

If I could give 6 stars I would! This company is so damn good that I’m going to write a slogan for them right here, and now… «For computer service, & repair, Nobody else compares!» Our computer was overrun with spyware, and refused to work, and after the insane prices of the Geek Squad($ 70 for diagnostic, flat $ 200 for virus removal of any kind), and Hudson Valley IT($ 100/hr avg. minimum of 2 hrs) we were at our wits end until happening upon the website of JK Tech Solutions. It was too good to be true. They do business the old fashioned way, the way it should be. They don’t charge for diagnostic if you have them do the service. They do absolutely quality work. They are fast, and efficient, and friendly too. I can’t say enough about the experience we just had. If your computer needs any kind of service, call or e-mail these guys as fast as humanly possible, and you will be elated that you did. We are!

Karen and her business partner Javier cannot be more helpful when you are dazed and confused, as we all are, with technology! They are unbelievably competent and calm, cool and collected when troubleshooting your problems. Give them a call and turn all your computer problems over to them. Believe me, I’ve tried many computer techs and these guys KNOWWHATTHEY’REDOING! ;)
