Patrick’s is one of my favorites. The food is delicious fish and chips is the best I ever had and burgers are awesome with sweet potatoes tots and the staff is great, and the prices are reasonable. check out the new menu on Facebook

I am giving this restaurant five stars because they try hard. Just like teachers sometimes give students an «A» for effort. They have good pub food, even Shepard’s Pie.. They have a good variety of beer on tap. The owners are great, making an effort to get to know the customers, and they’re very supportive of the community.

My Girlfriend and I ate at Patrick’s this Saturday 9⁄26 and had a delightful experience. The waitress’ were all very sweet and welcoming. After a reviewing the menu(and a few cocktails) we were stuck between the Reuben egg rolls and the Irish nachos. The waitress recommended the Egg rolls and she was absolutely correct. They were awesome and and we almost ordered a second helping :). As an entrée we ordered the Shepherds Pie and Fish and Chips . The best part about having a girlfriend is that you get to have two meals every time you go out to dinner. My Shepherds pie was glorious and hit the spot, but her fish and chips was the best i have ever had– Crispy and melts in your mouth. Even though we live about 45 min west of this location this Irish pub has been put on our top ten places to eat list.

Returned by boat Friday night. There was ample dock parking, however the docks are in bad shape. Enjoyed another great burger, good service, but the beer made me ill. Maybe the draft lines are not being properly cleaned

NOSERVICE! We waited 30 minutes and left. Other tables were furious because NO food arrived. Did us a favor — we went to the Lake House and had excellent service and food was outstanding.

Everything I’ve ordered here or brazenly stolen off of my boyfriend’s plate has been delicious. There’s a great view of the lake, nice atmosphere inside, and a great staff

Location is good, since it is right on the lake, however, there are few slips and they are oddly sized so that you can fit only 1 ¾ boats… The deck has a nice atmosphere but the music goes from death metal to spice girls. The prices are moderate, $ 25 for a steak to $ 10 for a burger. I ordered to pork tenderloin which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The pork was dry and bland, and the mashed potatoes were the same. The vegetables tasted like they were from a can. Kids meals were $ 8 for the normal grilled cheese or burger… Overall, food was garbage, location OK but other restaurants on the lake are better…

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Hostess seated party behind us in line before us. Featured beer was flat. Waitress forgot what my drink order was. Meal was served with no silvereare. After 10 minutes, I had to get my own. Special salad with avocado and Bleue cheese came with neither. When price adjustment was requested, waitress protested and then reluctantly gave us $ 1 in cash.

First and last thing I noticed was an overwhelming smell of bathroom deodorant. Kinda like urinal cakes… turned me off for sure. Food was good, the outside deck was great, server was over worked and seemed exhausted. She was nice enough but couldn’t be nice or attentive because she was spread so thin. I will NEVER pay $ 75 for food in this place again, especially for 2 people. It would behoove the owners to get in touch with their clientele… that is a ton of money for 2 dinners and 2 drinks, even for a steak. It was cooked well and tasty, but way too much fat on it for $ 27. I’ve been a chef for years so it’s a bit tough to get that one past me. My wife enjoyed the atmosphere but I really hope that the management takes these reviews seriously as I would love to have a place to keep coming back to because it’s inviting, creative and friendly. I’m willing to try again, but basics like bathroom odors and friendly servers will KILL a new restaurant. Good luck guys, you are gonna need it.

Of all the restaurants I’ve tried on Lake Hopatcong, Patrick’s is by far my favorite. The food is delicious, the portions are good, the staff is great, and the prices are reasonable. If you like sweet potatoes, try the sweet potato tots. They’re amazing! I’ve already recommended Patrick’s to several of my friends and coworkers.

Slow service, being ignored and overall«meh» food(and that is for the orders that were correct). We stopped here on the 3rd of July, so they were somewhat busy(not as busy as they implied when we checked in). So we settled for an inside location(since the big selling point of this place is the view as far as I can tell) and waited. And waited. Finally got an order in for appetizers and drinks, got them in a reasonable time and then more waiting. The app’s were ok, but nothing to write home about(I would be tempted to try the Irish nacho’s if I ever go back). And then my order came, somewhat related to my original order(open faced Reuben when instead I got a corned beef sandwich(I did see the Reuben and it looked good, but that is not what I got)). And of course they forgot about the ice cream that went with my child’s meal until we reminded them when we(finally) got the check after yet more waiting.

Pleasantly surprised. I had the shepherd’s pie which was pretty good. We sampled the spinach dip and the Reuben egg rolls. Both delicious and filling. One person had a shrimp pasta bowl which she enjoyed. The service was prompt and pleasant. The deck is nice and being able to park one’s boat is a big plus. It is a bit pricey, but… I’ll be back. I’m a sucker for a good shepherds pie made with lamb.

First time here. Waited 15 minutes for no one to recognize us after the bartender sat us. Walked out. Waitresses smoking in the kitchen area as it filled out the bar area. Disgusting atmosphere. I heard the foo was good tho so we tried to go. Gets a 1 because you have to give something.

I’m happy to see this place reopened. I had a cheesesteak which was fine. Ate on the deck, so I didn’t see the apparently huge beer selection. They should have a beer menu. I would have been more creative. Although, getting menus is a slight challenge. We were told to sit anywhere and then forgotten about. However, Once they realized it the service was fine & friendly. Tough to judge a restaurant on a cheesesteak & beer, but I’ll def be back.

On of the best pubs I have ever been in. They have a huge selection of beers on tap. They also have a great food selection between American and Irish foods. The food is more restaurant quality then pub quality great place to take the family. Atmosphere is clean, neat and comfortable with an Irish pub theme.

The best wings! Patrick’s Pub recently opened. I have been a customer of their liquor store forever, so I had to give the pub a try. Great atmosphere. Staff is great and the lakeside location is beautiful. …I can’t wait for summer to enjoy dinner and cocktails on the deck. I have not been for the live entertainment yet, but I was speaking to another customer at the bar who said the talent they have brought in is really quite good. My husband and I are definitely looking forward to going back. Prices were right, our portions were generous, and the location wasn’t too far off the highway that it would be a great place to stop after work!

Nah. Gonna pass, food is expensive for what we got. The staff seems nice, tons of beers on tap, needs to be open more and menu worked out. I hope the places does well, I love a good lake bar but it doesn’t seem likely.

I have been very happy at both lunch and dinner with the kitchen! They have 27 different beers, and I have tried 7 so far! Service excellent, atmosphere mellow, unless it is karaōke night! Shepard and cottage pies outstanding, the spinach artichoke dip in Guinness is to die for, French onion soup second to none and have yet to select an item off their menu that was anything but excellent! Keep going! Just remember, the corner 2 seats at the bar by the juke box is ours! Lol, when we go!

Came here for lunch last weekend and we enjoyed it. I got a cheese steak, my husband wings and my mother in law got a burger. Everything was priced very reasonable. I heard people saying they may have recently lowered their price which may be why I did not think they were expensive. Food tasted great. Only complaint was that my mother in laws burger was cooked more on the well side rather than medium. Place looks great! Can’t wait to come back.

I would give it zero stars if possible, went on to check it out as it is a new neighborhood place. Was not busy at all, there was no one to greet us when we walked in, nor was there a bartender or waitress to be found. My husband and I sat at the bar and he went to use the restroom, when he came back he was surprised to find out that NOONE still came over to acknowledge us. A woman did come out of the kitchen on her cell phone like 5 minutes later looked and saw no one attending the bar and proceeded to sit at a nearby table and finish her call. I asked a fellow patron who needed a refill if there was a bartender and he joked with me about this being a honor place and I should help myself and to him a beer while I was up. I laughed back and waited a few more minutes, at this point 2 waitresses came out of the kitchen and overheard me asking if there was a bartender but I did not get a response or did a bartender show up. My husband and I left to go somewhere else with better service. I cannot tell you about the food as we were never even offered a menu or drink, but I have heard from several places that it is over priced and just average food, kind of greasy and totally overpriced beers.
