I really, really liked this place. We came here for brunch. It gets quite crowded and frankly, the parking in this shopping center kind of sucks so that is the only down side. We didn’t have to wait long for a table but I have a feeling it was because we came close to lunch time. I started out with the kale drink special they were offering. It was really quite good. Others at the table had the strawberry lemonade which was also really good. So kudos on the drinks! My husband got the crab cake Benedict which I tasted and was excellent. I had a salad which was also really good. The atmosphere is nice. I could have sat here and lingered for a while but the old man is always rushing me. Lol. Staff were friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating area looks nice. I would love to sit out there on a warm day. Can’t wait to come again.

I enjoyed my food, but do I feel the urge to go back? No I don’t. I ordered the breakfast burrito with the garlic potatoes. Again, the food was good but I expected something different overall. I’m not sure what that would be, but it lacked something. It reminded me of an ihop as far as the décor is concerned. I would still suggest that one should go if they have never been but I won’t be back.

The Egg & I is probably my favorite breakfast place! The service has always been excellent, food perfection(love the scrambler skillets) and prices very reasonable.

Visited Egg & I this morning with my girlfriend. I ordered the Biscuits, gravy, and eggs. She ordered the Viva La France French toast. Both meals were very good with only one exception. Both of our eggs were off. My scrambled eggs were a little under done while her eggs over medium were over done. I would give a 5 star rating but when Eggs is in your name, I expect those to be spot on. We will definitely return. Just hope the eggs are better next time.

I have put off going here cause some of the locals were saying that it was not that good… well thanks to Unilocal we decided to go… Seating takes a bit, wait staff is nice. The strawberry lemonade is the best thing ever, very refreshing. The wife had the kale drink, really not too bad for a health drink. The food did take what seemed for ever to come out… But when it did… WOW!!! The crab cake eggs Benedict was really good! It was perfect!!! Eggs-perfect… Crab cakes… Moist, cooked perfect, and best of all the sauce!!! This dish i would highly recommend! All in all, well worth the trip! If you have some patience, it will pay off. This location is spot on. Well done!

Casual place. The food is great! Service was good! Love that it’s a breakfast joint with a Meeting Room. When you order coffee you get a thermos for your table which is nice. If you get one of the«Smarter» options, I’d recommend getting the English Muffin without butter.

Wifey and I both had the make your own omelette. Somewhat pricey considering you pay for every thing that goes into the omelette including the cheese. Bacon, sausage, cheese, and onions over $ 10. The omelettes were good and service was good. Parking was an issue. Lucky we got there before the crowd. Doubtful if we return, too many other places have the same menu but less pricey.

Crazy busy, really good food mediocre service with a little attitude. I had the French toast which was pretty good, and the bacon and coffee was great!

Okay, nothing special abt it at all. It was my first time didn’t impressed me at all. Ordered veggie omelette and didn’t taste that good. I can make same thing at home and taste better. $ 10 Had side of waffle, nothing special $ 6 the only thing I liked it was the side of a whole wheat pancake. $ 6 to me not it was okay… Expensive, nothing great or special. yes good service.

My girlfriend and I wanted a sit down breakfast that wasn’t fast food, this was it, a real good breakfast at a reasonable price. We will be returning soon.

My son and I had breakfast here and it was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. A great choice instead of an ihop or Denny’s.

Blah… I’ve never had anything there that I would consider good. I’ve eaten here a few times now and each time I’m equally disappointed in my meal. I’ve hesitantly gone back with friends at their insistence. Its just not very good. I’d take Waffle House over this place any day of the week!

It was wonderful! I had the strawberry banana Belgian waffle, scrambled eggs and bacon and it was delicious. The service was amazing. We had a huge group, with individual checks, but they didn’t bat an eye and service was very fast.

At the close of a family reunion, 17 of us met at The Egg & I for brunch this morning. My wife had the vegetarian benedict which she said was good but could have been hotter(heat not spicy). I had the biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs, grits, and ham. The meal was good but I have better sausage gravy and biscuit quality. My grits were good but could have been creamier. Service was very good.

This is a wonderful restaurant, from the sweet hostess to the genuine waitress the service is 5 stars. Now let me talk about the food, it was top class. I ordered the«cordon bleu skillet». It’s a layer if the flavorful ranch skillet potatoes covered with diced ham, grilled diced chicken topped with cheese. You then have the choice of egg style, I went with the traditional scrambled, which were the final layer of the wonderful dish. The best part was a light white sauce, unknown by my tongue that brought the full meal a creamy taste that gave my English muffin a little something to wipe off the plate to finish the full meal. I will be back and I will suggest the Egg and I to others. Oh yeah one last thing, first time guest get a gift. Anything from small item up to 50 dollars! I am excited to see what I get.

While heading out to do some ice skating in Pelham, we decided to stop by The Egg and I for a late brunch. Even though at was almost 1:30, the place was still pretty crowded. There’s a ton of seating, so that wasn’t an issue. The hostess was very nice and sat us promptly. Maybe a touch too promptly, as the table was still dirty. It was an honest mistake and I wan’t too bothered by it. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with hash potatoes and onions. It came with two eggs and was served with a side of hollandaise sauce and an English muffin. It was pretty dang good. Not as flavorful as I would have liked, but still good. Plus, it was a bunch of food. My date got the Green Chili Chicken Hash. She definitely chose correctly. It was spicy and full of flavor. We’ll be back and that’s what I’m ordereing.
