This place rocks — hands down some of the best coffee I have ever had. Not pretentious — great vibe here! Very kind and friendly staff and the beans are delicious. Our new favorite coffee spot to go to when we visit Hood River.

This place is dreamy! A very quaint coffee shop/roastery attached to a badass bike shop. They have excellent, friendly service, good prices and an amazing deck to boot. I will most definitely be back. Best coffee shop in Hood River. Oh, and the Kombucha on tap is amazing.

I ordered the cold brew coffee and was very happy with it. The barista asked us how strong we would like our drinks and made it perfectly. They also had simple syrup to sweeten the coffee which is much better for an iced drink than trying to mix in sugar. It was pretty busy when I was there and we waited in line for a bit while the barista made other drink orders. It was a bit hot in there but the drinks were cold and refreshing so it made up for it. They definitely take their coffee making seriously. I am looking forward to going back and trying some of their pastries!

Great coffee!!! They also have fresh pastries, donuts, wine and beer… Don’t miss the bike shop next door either.

Good lattes and good breakfast sandwich! I’m only giving it 3 stars because there were at least 2 dogs in the dining area and the barista was petting one of them a lot.

10 Speed offers superior espresso in a friendly, casual atmosphere, two factors that makes it the best coffee shop in Hood River. I always make it a point to stop here for an Americano each time I’m in town, but note that they also offer breakfast meals and tasty donuts. This place is unique because of the owner’s evident affection for cycling in addition to expertly pulled espresso. Monochrome prints of cyclists adorn the walls, not to mention fact that Dirty Finger bicycle repair shop is located in the same building. The location is also great because it is a short walk from the central downtown in Hood River, a nice oasis from the busy foot and vehicle traffic that crowds many shops in the warmer months. Before this location opened, I would go a bit more out of my way to the other location on 13th Street(that still exists). I was happy when this one on State Street opened so I didn’t have to make the trip up the hill to the Heights from downtown. I stopped by for Memorial Day weekend, and there was even a food truck in the parking lot selling Turkish food. I recommend 10 Speed to both coffee and bicycle enthusiasts alike!

Great coffee and cool atmosphere and it’s next to my favorite bike shop ever. Baristas are all very different and all of them are great.

I’ve been a fan of 10 Speed Coffee since the day I’ve moved to Hood River about 5 years ago. Although, the roastery used to be in the Heights location(I still love the Heights store!), the new roastery offers a different experience since they have a little more space, and a bigger food menu. Also, I’m a fan of the bike shop next door, so when I visit the roastery, I alway get my son a donut and a hot chocolate. It’s just a great spot for the family. Of course, the coffee is always great, and the staff are practically family. I’d suggest to anyone visiting Hood River that needs to take a break from the waterfront or downtown, to get off the main drag, and stop by 10 Speed Roastery. Full disclosure, I’m here basically every day!

Quirky and fun staff take the time to talk about the product in a way that is humorous yet educational. The coffee is fresh roasted on site… and is roasted in a way that compliments the bean and brings forth the best possible flavor! Smith Brand tea… fresh baked scones, muffins, croissants… and DELICIOUS breakfast burritos! Also on the menu is a Breakfast biscuit, frittata, bagels, and house made granola. Also… they make donuts… Need I say more?
