Not too long ago, I was walking around 11:00 pm-ish between Safeway and Young’s trying to figure out what to bring to my friend’s BBQ potluck the next morning. Young’s was still brightly lit(lights on, neon advertisements still blazing, people in the store, etc., so I decided to go in to see if they had desserts(store name changed from Flamingo’s but I was hoping they still had a bakery goods section?) As I was stepping up to the door, a few women(I think Micronesians?) were coming out the door not saying anything. I was being polite and moved out of their way to let them exit… then the last lady shoves the door closed behind her for the inside staff to lock the door and turn off the lights. Hello! You all saw me standing out there about to come in! I didn’t see any store hours(they’re signs/posters everywhere so if there was one how could I spot it?!) The least you could’ve done was say«we’re closed». So anyway – don’t go in there. They’re rude.

Excellent and friendly service. Besides the best musubis in the world. They have an excellent lunch wagon located in front of the store with good food.

New to the town area, came here by accident actually as we were going home one night. Good prices, standard selection… All the things you need for a liquor store!
