This disgusting looking van should move on, This is NOT an asset to Lemon street at all. Not only does it impede drivers of buses bringing tourists to and from local hotels, it causes a major bottle neck at a very inconvenient well used corner. Whoever gave this trashy company permission to park here needs their head examined… Now with the latest ‘reserved’ parking on an otherwise REDZONE it appears SOMEBODY is getting a major backhander… TRASHTRASHTRASH… move back to your registered address and take your filth with you!

Your abandoned truck on Lemon st is an eye sore and an inconvenience. If there was a functioning establishment to rate, it may help matters. You are preventing guests & staff, from being able to use its outside facilities including outside break areas. The truck is conveniently located next to the garbage chute of the Queen Kapiolani Hotel. The sound of falling garbage preludes the wonderfully horrendous aromas that compliment the atmosphere of this establishment.

I haven’t been here, but I know people who have and I’ve seen this business on all social media sites. The only bad reviews are from females. These lovely ladies,(Yes I’ve seen tons of photos) are serving your lonely man his cup of joe every morning in a bikini. Get over it. Don’t want your man seeing a girl in a bikini? Too damn bad. You live in hawaii. It’s hot as hell outside. Go to the beach and you can see girls in less clothing than these ladies. Don’t be a hater because you couldn’t make the cut to be a sexy barista. These girls get tipped very well. Wah. Cry somewhere else. You make yourself look extremely insecure by posting a negative review just to hate. To the girls who work here, keep up the good work! If your truck was on the west side I’d come by.

Great place to get coffee, tea, or a smoothie with a little extra«treat» The girls there who serve you are beautiful and sexy. The choose great lingerie or bikini to wear and pose like super models for you to take pictures. I’m just really grateful that the girls are willing to pose with props for pictures. I always love going there to see who’s new and bring a new prop for them to pose with, plus it’s great seeing Halle Berries :)

My Friend Stewart Told me I needed to wake up. I don’t really drink coffee much. but the conversation was good and the drink even better. No Chai but they served me up something nice sorta like Ohio Players«Sweet Sticky Thing» song and album.

Calling all perverts. As an attractive woman I would never do this type of business. These girls have no self respect. I feel sorry for them. Instead of serving coffee almost in the nude they should be taking a class on self respect. The coffee sucks and the view is nasty.

What kind of hard up customers go here? Oh yeah, the hard up kine. Coffee was terrible. It was day old cold coffee, watered down with cold milk that I got. She nuked it in the microwave three times. I ordered a double tall latte. Some of us get the coffee for the coffee, not the pierced up girl in her underwear with scabs on her arm. Ew, now I don’t even want this crap.

Service — very good Coffee — tasty Décor — inside the truck was great! Outside the truck needed a little help. Value — good value Suggestion — get a drink that takes longest to make. It’s worth the wait!

Coffee is decent but this coffee truck has great ambiance! Hopefully the Wild Bean opens a brick and mortar place like famous Vietnamese Coffee Shops in Orange County. Nice work on the strategically placed mirrors too. Fine attention to detail. Also pretty cool when the servers lie down on the bar to attract customers.

The Coffee or Expresso is 4 stars but the«view» is 5 Stars all the way. Young beautiful girls dressed in lingerie make for a interesting cup of Joe.

I know I wasn’t supposed to do this, but I just wanted to try this place, as a replacement to the Starbucks addiction that I am trying to ween myself off, but I do love a good cup of coffee, and I am currently seeking out the best that’s there is — besides the green mermaid. With that said, this place was kind of a stone’s throw from the Blood Bank, where I had my semi monthly donation. After finishing, I was in the mood for either Phở or good coffee, just to keep me awake while I drive on a depleted blood(platelet) supply. I discovered this place on my trusty Unilocal iPhone app and was curious about this place. «Wild Bean» was part of its title, so I just wanted to see what they can serve up. When I got here, I was overwhelmed by the hotties that were there serving drinks and whatnot. Oh my god. It was pretty awesome to see this, especially when I thought this was just another coffee shop. The actual business is housed in a large van, that had zebra stripes, with their logo on it. I was indifferent about the whole set up, but it’s their thing and it looks like they are drumming good business so far. Its funny how most, if not all, their customers are guys. I was sure that I was in way over my head, but whatever, I guess this maybe their gimmick to get people to their place and buy something. I thought fo real, that it was just awkward to see scantly clad women serving up drinks, but it was nice to have that change of pace, not that I am complaining — compared to the button down baristas of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Starbucks. It was a quick in and out for me, although if I stayed there longer than I should, it may just be a strip joint with a coffee flare to it. Then again, do you ever go to a coffee shop just for the baristas? The service was great and the show was always welcomed. It was a different way to get customer service and I wasn’t complaining at all. It was fast and I ordered a cappuchino with a muffin. However, the coffee I had, subsequently did not meet my expectations. What a shame. B–

I love me some scantily clad hotties. Why? I don’t really know, but for some reason my husband is more than willing to discuss this issue for hours. I’m not a coffee drinker, or even much of a non-water beverage drinker, but I am pleased to accompany the hubby to this truck. The girls we’ve had were very nice, and who really cares about the complexities in quality of the beverage when you’re staring at firm buttocks and lace-lined cleavage in broad daylight. I do wonder if the girls have to deal with many an unsavory character as this location is not stellar, and if I worked there I wouldn’t relish being alone in the truck. Not that I’d want to work there. Not that I’d ever said«If I was hot enough, I would totally work there». Because clearly, if I was rockin’ that kind of body I could make much more at Femme Nu… Sometimes on Unilocal I say things I don’t mean to say. Slightly amusing anecdote: My husband visited Wild Bean Espresso for the first time«out of curiosity» and while he was there, presumably feeling somewhat guilty for oogling nearly naked girls without his wife, KITV news asked him if they could interview him! Haha! He said no and ran away but OH how I would’ve loved him being on the news as a patron of the underwear coffee truck. My Mormon mother-in-law would have loved that. BTW, my husband reports that the coffee is just fine. Good times.

I had no choice! Really, I had no choice. What else was I supposed to do? You understand, right? Salt Lake Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the place where I normally get my coffee fix, is closed. So, you see I had no other choice. I didn’t want to go to Wild Bean Espresso. I didn’t want to stare at what I can only describe and the World’s most perfect set of buns that were attached to the beautiful young lady who was blending my coffee and were accentuated with only the briefest panties I’ve ever seen. There were simply no other options. Don’t you see that I had to do it? I’m telling you had no choice! Why don’t you seem to get that? I probably won’t have a choice next time either. ;-)

Don’t let the frilly lingerie and the flash of okole fool you. The beautiful baristas of Wild Bean Espresso are well-trained professionals. Whether you order a steaming caffè macchiato or a refreshing banana strawberry smoothie, you’re in for a delicious, well prepared drink. You have to admire these ladies. It takes guts to brew coffee across from Oahu Correctional Center(OCC), smack dab in the industrial part of Kalihi. I recently had the opportunity to interview the owners and a few of the baristas for a magazine story I’m writing. It turns out everyone at Wild Bean is friendly and down to earth. They tell me that most customers are respectful, supportive and very loyal. They say a large majority of their customers includes construction workers, policemen and the military. Wild Bean has only been open since June but the business appears to be extremely successful. Customers pull in from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for coffee and a chat with the baristas. Give Wild Bean a try! The truck is extremely easy to spot. Just look for the zebra stripes and sexy, hot pink silhouette of a woman. They’re currently parked outside of Puuhale Market on the corner of Dilingham and Puuhale streets.

So finally got a chance to check out Wild Bean Espresso with some friends. I went with my two guy friends and surprise, surprise, I was the only girl in line. HAHA. What it is: Truck that sells coffee, pastries, Italian soda served by attractive lingerie clad employees. The Good: The coffee is pretty good. I ordered the Hazelnut coffee and my friends had the spicy chai latte. Both were delicious and well made. Service was friendly and prompt. The Bad: It’s in a pretty SHADY location. It’s on the corner of Puuhale Rd and Kamehameha Highway in Kalihi, right across from the state penitentiary. The verdict: I would go there again. Obviously their selling point is their scantily clad employees serving coffee. Yes, they are wearing lingerie and the girls were cute and friendly but the important thing is that they actually serve good coffee. Haven’t tried anything else but I’d be up to try more in the near future. I would also be curious to see how long this trendy coffee truck would hold. So far, it’s going really well as there were a line of men waiting to be served by the two ladies when we left. One of the girls said that they might be another truck coming soon closer to town around Fisherman’s Wharf/Ward Avenue area. MUCH better location. Oh, yes, and please BENICE to the two ladies working. Props to them for wearing lingerie while working. Keep the snide and vulgar comments to yourselves please!
