Date Visited: 1÷8÷2016 Parking: Hyatt parking lot is in a separate building across the street. I had to pay $ 8 for one hour because Ugg(although they are part of the Hyatt hotel building) does NOT validate… Service: Sucks. The only friendly person(and the only person who seemed like he knew what the heck he was doing) was Lawrence/Laurence? The lady who went to grab my size was like a headless chicken or a deer in headlights anytime my boyfriend or I asked her a question. They didn’t have the boot and size I wanted in stock so when I asked if they could order it to the store, she was so confused and had to ask like 2 people if that was possible. Don’t tell me I’m the first person EVER to ask that question… not to mention that she took FOREVER checking the back(I mean like 15 – 20 minutes). Pricing: Typical Ugg pricing. oh, but add on the parking you have to pay and it gets a bit more expensive. Final Verdict: won’t be back, especially to this location. Waste of time and money.

There are a few things I’d like to mention about their service. 1) They have less sales people than they should(or everyone is just in the storage room) 2) It takes some time before they notice you, unless you look Japanese I guess(no offence, cause I am one but I look less touristy) 3) Sales person had to double check about their sale even though the sale price was printed on the bottom(Not so sure why it was necessary to check) I guess it makes sense that most tourists are Japanese, so the sales people tend to service them more. Was I annoying when I tried on 2 sizes and 2 designs?(Only the sales person will be able to tell me) Nevertheless, their products are nice. I have a few pairs myself. I recommend the products, but the service is average, in my opinion.

The store staff are every unhelpful and unfriendly. They should change all the staff who are willing to help customers and not being arrogant. I bought a pair but if I had a choice, I wouldn’t buy at this store from such people.

I was actually in the shoe department at Nordstrom when I laid my eyes on a pair of black suede flats. Nothing fancy, except that it was an Ugg brand. Unfortunately, my size wasn’t available & Nordstrom discontinued that particular style so I ended up calling the Ugg store in Waikiki to see if they had it in stock & had it put on hold. At the Ugg store, the sales associate retrieved my flats & rang me up. No hassle, but no where near Nordstrom’s customer service. Even though I still think of Apple Bottom jeans & boots with the fur when I hear the word«Uggs,» I realized they offer more than that. Like cute, black suede flats with bows on it. However, it wasn’t as comfortable as I thought it’d be for the price I paid.

I am very happy and impressed with the customer service at this shop! They allowed me to exchange my fluffy slippers for a new pair and were very nice and apologetic. The new pair is wearing well and they’re great!

The line outside the door had me stumped. This was the only line outside a store down the strip. The store was packed with people. What was going on? Were they giving away free boots? As the security guard informed me, there’s always a line here. «What? In Hawaii of all places, why is there a line? Isn’t it too hot to be wearing Uggs?» He then taught me something else new: The intent for Uggs was not as a winter boot. Uggs were actually originally made for surfers, so that their feet could be kept warm after getting out of the water, hence why Ugg store right on the Waikiki strip does in fact make sense. Well, what do you know? And this shop is so popular, they’re expanding into the open lot next store to help alleviate the crowd. Can’t say that this is a go-to spot of mine when visiting Hawaii, but the experience has now given me pause when I think about putting on my Uggs.
