I really wanted to like this place as it’s super close to my house. Unfortunately, I think this shop suffers from a bit of an identity crisis… is it a gift shop? A coffee shop? A restaurant? Service was friendly but the sever seemed confused when we sat form at a table and her awkwardness lasted the entire visit. We ordered to Acai bowls which were just ok. The consistency was overly smooth and lacked flavor, almost like they watered down the Acai mixture. I’ve been tempted to wander in here again to grab tea or a quick snack, but they close super early. With that, my first visit will likely also be my last as I can’t imagine this place staying in business much longer.

You MUST go and try the waffles of you are in Waikiki. Most amazing waffles I’ve ever had. You can tell the staff puts a lot of time and care into each order, as everything was beautifully plated and perfectly placed. Will definitely be returning!

Negative 1000000 stars. Pretty disappointing in their Waffle Sandwiches. They smother and I mean SMOTHER this thing with so much mayonnaise and mustard it’s disgusting. I don’t know what their trying to mask. I also ordered a latte and something tasted too sweet, so I kindly asked if I could get a coffee instead. Rather than just say OK and make one the lady tells me. «Well, you know since you drank it, we’re still going to have to charge you for it» W… T…F…Charge me for a Latte AND coffee because I didn’t like the latte!!! Your’re out of your goddamn mind. THEN, While I’m insisting how ludicrous that is; another lady comes from the kitchen, brings me the new coffee and says: You know… I tasted the latte, it’s fine… next time you get charged for new one. WHODOESTHAT!!! Jesus Christ; I should’ve this was a precursor to disaster. Sandwiches suck, service sucks, parking sucks, their Groupon sucks. Such a tourist trap and waste of time.

I’m sooo glad we found this place!!! Now I normally don’t eat waffles but it really smelled so good! I really loved the waffle I ordered! It hit the spot! The fruit and the honey along with the vanilla was very tasty! The whole meal was refreshing and the boutique was Sooo cute!!!

Everyone knows that Kuhio is mostly or is always a busy street. If I was a tourist, I would have assumed that this road either only had bars and endless amounts of construction sites. In fact, this road and it’s side streets have an eclectic range of restaurants. Thankful for finding a deal from Groupon or I probably would have skipped on trying this cute little place. My companion and I(with the pup in tow) decided to waddle our way into this cute café. They can easily be found on the corner of Kuhio and Kaiolu St. There is one table available outdoors(if you decide to sit outside to eat, they can only pack your food to go.). Indoor tables are available as well with a server. This is not only a café but also a retail store with random knick knacks of all sorts for tourists. Since it’s a little close to lunch, our stomachs were craving for a Basic Acai bowl(Pitaya), Hawaiian Acai and the Chicken Breast with Spicy BBQ Sauce and Melted Cheese with salad, fruits and taro chips. The acai bowls are served in a cup(comes in one size only) with acai and pitaya, assorted fruits and granola. The acai’s can be ordered in Basic Acai, Seasonal fruits Bowl, Hawaiian Bowl. They can be ordered in three types(Acai, Kona Red, Pitaya) The pitaya was okay. For the cost of the items, I’ve had better tasting acai bowls and bigger servings as well. The Spicy BBQ Chicken was most certainly delicious with waffles and melted cheese. The sandwich can be ordered in full for $ 14 and half for $ 8. People that worked the counter were nice and still gave us water as we waited with the pup outside of the café. The verdict? I’m a bit mixed as I’m not impressed with their acai bowls. However, I did enjoy the sandwich. Street parking only.

My favourite breakfast spot in Waikiki! Always supplying delicious waffles with fresh fruit. The acai bowl and waffle sandwich are also delicious!

The inside of the shop/café is so cute. Their acai/pitaya bowls are portion generous and filled with a great selection of fruits. The staff is friendly and sweet. Would definitely recommend!

I purchased a groupon a few months ago for tilia, and finally found the opportunity to use it. This little café, located in the back of a souvenir shop, surprisingly had quite a few tables. I liked that the menu had the perfect combination of breakfast foods that I actually like. I mean waffles are just A-OK, but waffles with tons of fresh fruit loaded on top?! Omg, sign me up, pronto! The waffles are also served with different syrups that you can pour on. The second thing I tried: lox and bagels. Tilia does not simply serve bagels with cream cheese and lox. In addition, they have onions, capers, salad and the cream cheese is nicely flavored. They also have a few different dressings, all sounding very delicious. I asked the waitress and she recommended the papaya seed dressing. Yum! And everything was so beautifully presented! :) The acai bowl has become quite the phenomenon in Waikiki. Tilia does it absolutely just the way I like it… and I haven’t seen any other place do this for acai bowls: pour your own honey! So the acai bowl itself comes pretty standard, but if you go anywhere else for acai, they will charge you extra for extra honey. Not here! You can drench your acai bowl in as much honey as you want! Woo!!! Even the drink selection is awesome. I had the yuzu plantation iced tea. I love yuzu, but the yuzu in this tasted like it came from a marmalade… Idk how to explain it, but I might get the regular plantation iced tea next time. Best part? They give a kamaaina discount! I’ll def be back. Definitely! You may wonder why this isn’t a raving, amazing 5 star review. The service is almost non existent here, unfortunately. We weren’t waited on at all after we ordered/were given food. I had an empty water cup most of the time I was here :/ehh it’s ok. I’ll bring my own water next time…

The waffle-sandwiches are very unique and delicious. The place is very ‘local’ but has the means to cater to the tourist-types.

The café is located in the back of the store, wait to be seated. Just go towards the smell of waffles. The mood is nice and relaxing, hawaii music playing. Lots of light. It is hottt in herrr. They have fans, just ask to turn them on. Service is slow, took a while to get our order in and about 15 minutes more after that to get waters with the place at less than half capacity. The coffee is over $ 5 a cup! In fact, everything on the menu was priced extremely high. At first she brought us the wrong thing so we got one of the three things we ordered waaaayyy before the other two. This made things at the table awkward as we were all very hungry lol. My sister got the smoked salmon bagel sandwich(she wished they had onion bagels). It came with dill cream cheese and raw taro chips. She finished it well before the other two of us got our food. I got the pitaya basic bowl. oh my god, so good! My brother got the large waffle with seasonal fruit(large means the whole normal sized waffle, medium is half of that). Came here with a Groupon. They also have kama’aina discount with ID. Thought they had WiFi, as advertised but sadly they do not. Food was of great quality beautifully presented, service sub par. Will not return.

Perfect place to come if you love waffles or fruit. You can get waffles with fruit, waffle sandwiches, acai bowls, parfaits, and salads. You can get ice cream on the side of your waffle dishes. The sizes for the waffle plates are small, medium, and large. Small is one fourth of the waffle, medium is half a waffle, large is the whole waffle. My favorites are the seasonal fruit waffle and the Hawaiian waffle. For ice cream on the side they have Macadamia nut, chocolate, vanilla as well as other choices. The service is very nice and it takes about 15 minutes to get your food. The front of this café is a store so be careful not to pass while your on Kuhio. The café is located across from four paddle condos and on the same side of the street as ABC. I recommend this place.

Came to the café for the 2nd time because of the Groupon deal… Though I really enjoyed the food, I am torn on what rating to give them because of the price. If I could go 3 ½ to round it out then I most likely would. This café is in Waikiki and is both a shop and a café in one. The über-cute shop is filled with lots of eye-catching merchandise that will definitely have you thinking about buying something. Keep going to the back if you want to be seated right away. The place is comfortable, I feel it is really marketed to the Japanese traveller more than anything else(small portions, higher pricing, attention to presentation detail). I ordered an affogato(ice cream with a side of espresso), the large salmon salad and my son ordered the ½ seasonal fruit waffle. The served my affogato first and the portion of espresso was very tiny, but that is how it is usually served in places like Europe so I didn’t judge. The beverage treat was really good! The total price is $ 7.00. Next came out my salad, however they thought I ordered the ham(probably a misunderstanding due to language barriers). They redeemed themselves however by bringing the salmon and capers to me with a genuine apology after I told them it was fine and they didn’t have to redo my salad. I ate with a yummy lilikoi dressing on top– it was delicious. My son’s waffle didn’t come out until I was at my last 2 bites of salad, it would have been nice to dine together. Overall a good experience but don’t know if I’d pay full price for it. The Groupon saved us $ 8 total. Total amount paid $ 23.00 I suggest trying the Groupon and then deciding for yourself while taking in to account for cultural factors. Happy eating!

Cute little shop/restaurant. Rating a bit higher because it reminded me of Harajuku, where you could add a scoop of ice cream to practically everything. Kind of over priced for what it was and didn’t enjoy the coffee. Ordered the Hawaiian waffle and Kona red bowl. The waffle was crispy and had fruit on top and the bowl was like a sherbet. Recommend checking out a different place if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast with more bang for your buck.

Interesting spot to stop for breakfast. Service was a little bit odd and slow for not being busy. There were only about three other tables and it took a while to get our drinks out. The coffee is way overpriced, especially for the size I received on my large cappuccino. For food we ordered the large Hawaiian waffle which was okay. It was crisp and had a nice presentation. I also got the Kona red bowl which tasted like raspberry sherbet. It sounded different than the typical acia bowl so I thought I’d give it a try. It was okay but I think I’d stick with the acia version. Not someplace I think I’d visit again.

Very good restaurant for a light and healthy breakfast before a day of adventure on Oahu island in Hawaii. The prices are moderate but the food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is clean and quiet which makes for a peaceful breakfast.

Groupon had a deal 12 $ off 20 $ which we snagged. Prices are moderate for a breakfast place, but portions are large and the quality of the food is very good! We actually went twice we loved it so much! I had the same thing bother times, iced coffee and a smoked salmon bagel sandwich. You make it yourself, which I liked. The waitress was there both days we went and she remembered us and our orders! You have to come here! It’s also a small gift shop with lots of cool and cute Hawaiian gifts.

This is a little quaint shop with a pretty sweet menu item. I tried a chicken breast waffle sandwich which comes with fruit, taro chips and salad. It was the bomb especially when you get the passion fruit dressing with it. The coffee here is a little pricey. Anything over $ 3 is just really crazy but the food is fairly priced. I would come back again for sure. Its a little hidden gem.

Groupon deals are always the best!($ 12 for $ 20 worth of food) We came here on a Saturday morning. It was a cute little art/craft shop with a dining area. We got to sit by the window. The lady who works there doesn’t look happy. She greeted us and everything but she showed no enthusiasm in her job. Anyways, we looked at the menu. We ordered a small seasonal fruit waffle, regular pitaya fruit bowl, and a full bbq chicken waffle sandwich that comes with taro chips, salad, and mini fruits. The waffle was really good. Pitaya bowl was quite big. I loved it! BBQ sandwich was amazing! Loved the taro chips. Crunchy and crispy! The papaya salad dressing was ok. The total came out to around $ 34. Not including tip. Oh if you don’t have a groupon deal, locals have 10% kamaina discount. But I still think it’s expensive. To be expected in Waikiki.

This place is the epitome of kawaii ^_____^v Cute store, friendly staff, yummy drinks, and the best acai bowls in town! .like. .seriously. My roomie and I checked out every acai bowl place in Waikiki and this is the place with the best combo of island fruits, mac nuts, toasted coconut, yogurt, and island honey! Not too sweet and not too sour from the fruits. I’ve since branched out to other menu items like their taro waffles, shrimp salad, rose tea, chicken sammies, and coffee — all super good! I go there to hang out and wind down with their free wifi(espec since Capitalone Café closed *tear*) It’s really cute but casual there so you don’t need to worry about the pretentious brunch atmosphere — yay! They also have a nice kamaaina discount which never hurts :)
