I had the worst experience at this salon! My mom, sister, and I all had to get our nails done for a last minute, special occasion. Unfortunately I was the lucky one who had a crappy nail technician. I did a full acrylic set that came out sooo messy. Mind you, I usually get my nails done at another salon but being that we were crunched on time, I had to settle for this place. I know what a full set SHOULD look like. While getting my set done, the tech was very rough with my hands, not asking if it was ever uncomfortable while she was filing them. When it came time to use the nail buffer machine, she ended up cutting near my cuticle– causing it to BLEED. And she didn’t notice until I pointed it out to her, like«um it’s bleeding, aren’t you gonna do something about it» and all she said was oh sorry and just used some cotton to wipe the blood. By the end of it, I had crooked looking nails that I just wanted off! Ugh. Not only do I think this place is unsanitary for nails, but they aren’t very big on customer service either. Don’t count on me EVER going back.

No stars. They r now cloud 9 and the new owners would not help me with the gift certificate I bought 8 days prior to tiffany selling it to them. They made me call tiffany to get my refund. They wouldnt even talk to her for me. I usually go there to cut my hair and my 2 sons. Today my wife tried to use the gift certificate that our kids got her for mothers day ans big fail. Poor customer service. The owner could have helped to get this addressed. Not my fault that they didn’t address the outstanding g. c’s out. Too bad the guy johnny real did a good line up and men’s cut. No stars but I had to put one or Unilocal won’t let u post.

I would definitely not recommend this place for hair color. I made an appointment with Tiffany, I waited over an hour waiting for her, she had her sister color my hair instead of her because she double book her clients appointment. Her sister doesn’t speak good english, she burn my scalp, and she took 4 ½ hours just to color my hair. My overall experience at this place is horrible.

Went there for the first tine for a pedi and a gel full set. I was okay with my pedi but not satisfied with how the lady was handling my nails. She ended up cutting to deep. I extremely disliked my full set. Yes I should have told her while she was doing them but I didn’t notice how bad they really were until I left. My tips are showing crack marks and bubbles under the acrylic. Horrible. Not only that but they charged me $ 70 for both. And my under standing it should have been about $ 60. She didn’t use the electric tool. She hand sanded each nail. Very unhappy.

This is strictly a review for the NAILS, because Tiffany is an awesome hair stylist and does wonders to women’s hair and men’s lining. Many wait for hours for her to get a seat in her chair. However, if you must, avoid getting a pedicure while you«wait» for Tiffany. You’ll only be disappointed. I don’t know why I keep going here for pedicures! Maybe it’s out of convenience that I want to do eye brows and hair with Tiffany too. This place is HORRENDOUS! I got cut once already from a trim of my cuticles on my hands of my manicure. But to make matters worse, the other newbie lady dug into the cuticles of my toesies EVEN when I obviously screeching in pain. I’m sorry, is there some kind of culture or language barrier and a loud OUCH signify something else?!! This particular manicure/pedicurist spoke very VERY little english, however I was able to get some conversation out of her(just to be nice). She told me she came to Hawaii a little less than a year ago and used to be a TEACHER in Vietnam… TEACHER. OKAY, how in the world does someone then come to America and have a job as a manicure/pedicurist after being a TEACHER. Now thats two totally different fields!!! It’s no WONDER she totally SUCKED at it. Next time I ever EVER do go back, I’ll update with the name of the lady, avoid her by all means. You have been warned…

I normally come to Tiffany’s to get my eyebrows done on a monthly basis, which is convenient since I live within a 4 minute drive, and cheap too. So I decided to get my permanent hair straightening perm done here, as I needed a touch up. I set up my appointment over the phone, and come by the day of, I was somewhat disappointed. I paid $ 157 to get one of the worst haircuts/hair straightening perms I’ve ever gotten, and on top of that, my hair is partially damaged! The stylist who cut my hair cut it waay too short than I expected. During the perming procedure, he yanked at my hair a few times to a point where I winced. I even showed him a picture, and specifically told him I wanted the same hairstyle as the picture, but shoulder length. There must be some sort of English barrier or something. But I figured he knew what he was doing. WRONG. Instead, I ended up getting a haircut that did not match the structure of my face. Don’t get me wrong, my stylist was super nice, but I was not a fan of my haircut. I’ve gotten the hair straightening procedure done a few times somewhere else, and there was never a problem with any of the procedures… until I made the mistake of coming here. EDIT: A month later, my hair is growing out. But portions of the top of my head are now dry, brittle, and an «L» shaped bent at the roots. My baby/stray hair pisses me off the most since that’s the most damaging/bothersome. On the side note, Tiffany was on vacation during this whole ordeal. Never again. In conclusion, if you’re planning to get some sort of hair procedure done, DON’T bother coming here.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get a monthly pedicure. This month, I stopped in at City Square for breakfast and decided to try a new place for my monthly pedi. On other occasions, I have noticed the salon being busy(once it was a ½ hour wait), but this time there was no wait, since I arrived fairly close to when they opened. The staff was pretty friendly, the salon has a pretty good selection of nail polish colors, and if you are into nail art, they have some picture books for you to have a look at. I got a basic pedicure($ 22) and splurged on some really nice 3D flower nail art(starts at $ 5). I can’t comment on the manicures or their other services(hair, waxing and massage) because I didn’t try them, but it is a cozy salon(four pedicure chairs with the nice massage features plus three barber chairs), I was happy to get a pedicure for a reasonable price, and I plan to go back again.
