The Villa on Eaton Square

Moved into this building about a month ago and I love it!
— Great security staff! Super friendly
— Great management
— 4 elevators that get you to your floor quickly
— Secure parking garage with 5 floors. The only downside is there are no assigned parking spots so you have to do a little searching. I come and go during all times of the day and there has never been an issue finding parking (even late night).
— Rooftop deck is sweet!!! WiFi access on the rooftop, small pool, plenty of chairs and tables, nice gas grills for tenant use, men’s/women’s sauna, small outdoor library, 360 degree view of the surrounding area through tinted glass windows. VERY NICE VIEWS!
— There are so many places that are within walking distance! The convention center (3 blocks), Ala Moana Mall (about 3 – 4 blocks), the beach (3 blocks), just to name a few.
There is one negative that I can think of… if you’re a pet owner. Pets are not allowed to walk in the common areas. You must carry your animals or push/​pull them around in some type of carrying device (cart, stroller, etc) It’s kind of ridiculous to watch.
I just wish they had 2 bedroom units in the building and offered more than 1 parking space. There are only studios and 1 bdrm units. I would seriously consider buying a 2 bdrm unit here.

I went with Thomas O. to a housewarming party here, and I loved it. We kind of got lost after heading into the public parking area, but we called our friend and made our way up to her apartment.
The first thing I noticed was how many elevators there are … 4 in all. That’s super great because the building has 37 floors, so I can imagine that foot traffic going in and out of the building can get backed up. So four elevators is a good thing.
We took a tour of the rooftop pool, and my fear of falling to my death sprouted up. It’s not that I was scared … more like vertigo took over my body. But the view was amazing — even at night. We could see Manoa Valley (because it was the only place in sight that had rain pouring down on it). And we could see the Ala Moana Blvd. traffic for Project «Beautification.» The pool area is nice and HUGE! Plenty of places to sit, relax, or sleep. There’s also a big BBQ area with amaze-​balls grills. Perfect for a «Chopped» competition. I think there are 4 grills out there.
There’s also an area on the rooftop that’s an area for reading? or studying? I’m just assuming. It’s well-​lit, and there’s a bookshelf filled with books. Heaven right?

Been a tenant for many years call my studio «Waikiki Office» and always am greated by security with a smile, the staff is exemplary as is the building management! Amazing property and highly recommended.
