The pizza was extremely yummy, yes it was 30 bucks which I think is fine if you are not eating here every night. My boyfriend and I came here and it was very quiet and romantic sat next to the pool!

Cute little place inside hotel. Granddaughters wanted pizza. Tried to discourage us on the onset telling us it’ll be an hour, we had nothing else to do so we ordered. Service was very nice considering only two people running whole show. Spinach salad came first then pizza. All less than 45 mins. BYOB. Cash only

Located inside of small hotel, near the pool, Lovin Oven is totally unassuming, but it’s a hidden gem. We called in our order from our hotel, walked over and picked it up. It took about 30 minutes for the pizza to be ready, but it was great. My husband and I split the Supreme and while we really hungry we had a hard time finishing it. Luckily we had a fridge in our room and were able to store the leftovers. If you love pizza and hate places like Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc. then this place is for you. A laidback vibe with tasty slices.

Awesome hidden spot. Pizza was great, but service even better. LUANA is the man. Great service and we will be back every time we are in town! Thanks Lovin’ Oven!!!

The pizza was delicious. It’s a bit pricey, but, you can tell it’s handmade with quality ingredients. More than enough for two people per pizza. Great service. Excellent.

Tucked in behind a hotel might be hard to miss if you don’t know where to look. Cash only but there is an atm right there. The pizza was delicious and light and the guy working there was super chill and nice to talk to. Small cups of water offered with refills, byob if you want some. The $ 25-$ 30 price tag is standard for the area so if you want pizza expect to pay that much. I would go back again.

Great pizza. Great staff. Great atmosphere. What else does one need in life? Oh yeah, it’s BYOB so don’t forget that.

Excellent pizza! Very tasty fresh ingredients it appears. Little on the pricey side for pizza, but don’t mind paying for it as long as it taste this good! Your in Hawaii anyway, so it’s probably a little more expensive. Try pepperoni and sausage with fresh basil on it… delicious!

Looked pretty good but for $ 25 i expected a bit more, seems though they stand behind their product and I will be back, got to love a restaurant that truly cares about their customers.

Hidden inside the aqua bamboo hotel. It’s such a nice place to sit and eat. 3 stars mainly for the price $ 35 for a small pizza??? also, CASHONLY. Luana was beyond nice. Overall ok place, but I wouldn’t spend $ 35 again on regular pizza again.

Good not amazing. Signature pizza choices are fairly standard with the exception of their True Hawaiian pizza. Thin crust that won’t hold the toppings unless you use both hands, fold it in half, or use utensils. Located through the lobby of a hotel, pretty quiet and secluded if that’s what you’re seeking. Service was good. Pricey for a 16″ pizza.

Went back again and the pesto pizza changed. Not as good as before but Luana is one dope waiter and makes up for it! If you’re in Waikiki and want pizza by the pool BYOB style, I still recommend this place!

The pizza here is great. They have a limited selection of other stuff — no wings. Only a few selections for drinks(like water, coke, and diet coke). The sitting is outside by a pool — it’s in a hotel. Cash only also. So lots of stuff going against it, but still the pizza is so good that it gets great reviews. I wanted to go again the very next day.

BYOB, Pizza and Being on vacation in Hawaii– can’t beat that combination. We went as soon as they opened and were greeted by a nice friendly guy that worked there. He took our order, we did half pepperoni and half margherita. My wife and I loved it and I was ready with my hydro flask of beer! We loved the crunchy crust. It’s a bit weird to eat while people at the hotel at sunbathing though, guess that’s why they open up late. Still would definitely recommend it!

Outstanding pizza place tucked away inside the Aqua Bamboo. A 16″ pie was in the $ 25 – 30 range but well worth the price. Eat outside, BYOB from the liquor/beer store up the street, and relax. Stopped in about 6:30PM after an all-day motorcycle ride around the island — really hungry from the long day. Had a Mediterranean– very good. Crust and toppings were outstanding and the service was friendly and efficient.

Yes I agree with reviews beforehand, 30USD /pizza is not cheap, but for that you get very good quality pie with plenty of toppings and they really made it crispy which I particularly liked. My wife went so far as to say«this is the best pizza I had ever» … I wouldn’t go that far but it was good pie. :) the restaurant itself is small and it is part of a hotels inner courtyard, you can sit right next to the pool which I found cool. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 due to price and also that were not quick, we waited 30 – 40 min and they weren’t too busy to warren that.

BYOB and pizza. What more could you ask for? My friends and I are always on the look out for restaurants that have BYOB because let’s face it… we love to drink and bringing your own drinks are a lot cheaper than buying the priced up drinks at the restaurant. Since we were planning to hit up Sky Waikiki night club for my girlfriend’s birthday celebration, we tried to find a BYOB place for dinner nearby. The Lovin Oven is located inside the Aqua Bamboo hotel on Kuhio Avenue, across the street from The Vive Hotel and Hy’s Steakhouse. Unless you’re Unilocaler or a hotel guest at Aqua Bamboo, this place is seriously a hidden gem. You have to go through the hotel lobby in order to get to the restaurant. It’s mostly outdoor seating around the pool and a few seats inside the restaurant. It wasn’t too crowded when we went on a Friday evening, but reading a few of the Unilocal reviews, reservations were highly recommended so we made sure to call in reservations for 7pm for our party of 8. Parking is a bit difficult in Waikiki, especially since this restaurant doesn’t have a designated parking lot. Options include street parking(if you’re lucky) or parking in nearby parking structures that vary in costs/hour. Sorry I can’t make any recommendations as I have monthly parking for work in Waikiki, so I always resort to parking there. But a few of my other friends parked at the Ross parking lot, which is a couple blocks away from the restaurant. Service is a bit slow here, but the staff is super friendly. Plus, good food can’t be rushed haha. For refreshments, they only have water, which is self-service where the water jug is on the inside part of the restaurant. But of course, you can bring your own drinks(juice, soda and ALCOHOL!) For 8 people, we ordered 3 pies(8 slices per pie). One of my friends is a vegetarian so we got the Half Half order where we could select 2 different flavors with 1 sauce. For her, we got half of the Super Model(Cherry Tomatos, Caramelized Onions, Spinach and Home-Made Balsamic dressing) and the other half we got the True Hawaiian(Jalapeño BBQ Marinara Sauce, Kalua Pork, Portuguese Sausage, Grilled Pineapple, Caramelized Maui Onions and Green Onions) with the Jalapeño sauce. The other pie, we got the Supreme(Veggies, Italian Sausage & Pepperoni). We thought 2 pies would be enough, but my friends are pigs, and my vegetarian friend barely got a piece of her pie because my other friend kept eating hers… boys I tell ya lol. So we then ordered the Mediterranean(Artichoke Hearts, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Organic Spinach, Kalamata Olives, and Diced Chicken topped with Feta) for her and the rest of us who were still hungry. I tried all of them except for the Super Model since there were only 4 pieces and I didn’t wanna be the one to eat it haha but it smelt amazing. The pizza here are delicious! The flavors were spot on, the crust was thin and crispy though some were a bit burnt but not a big deal. The Mediterranean was probably my favorite since it was unique and I loved the combo of all the ingredients. And the True Hawaiian was a close second, but it does have a kick to it if you like spicy… hence the Jalapeño sauce lol. When we made reservations, we didn’t mention it was for a birthday. But the server was very observant as he overheard us passing gifts to the birthday girl and wishing her a happy birthday. At the end of our meal, he gave the birthday girl a bowl of Cookie Dough Ice Cream and thanked us for coming in to celebrate a birthday here. It was such a sweet gesture and just made our night end on a even greater note! Prices are a bit expensive, but if you come with lots of people, it’s not that bad when you split it up. Highly recommended for big groups and alcoholics ;) lol

A quiet alternative not too far from the busy main Waikiki strip. $ 30 will get you a decent-sized pizza, outside patio seating, and self-serve everything. There is only one lady that takes your order, and that’s pretty much it. As lots of other Unilocalers note, she does not seem happy to be there. No smile, no food explanations, no enthusiasm whatsoever. But she did remind us that it is cash only, and that we have to bring back the dinnerware when finished eating. The pizza here is flatbread style. I’d recommend the True Hawaiian — sweet, savory, delicious! The other pizzas we tried were the Margarita and the Lovin. These were ok, but not special. I would come back if the mood was friendlier. As mentioned, it’s a nice alternative from the busy loud street, but I would want to spend my money where we were shown more LOVIN!
