Anyone know what happened? I think around September 2012 it closed up, and now as of 2013 I notice its a vacant property. They had good food.

ONO plate lunch place with friendly family service! Portions are generous with rotating daily specials such as Mushroom Chicken, Steak Plate, Roast Duck & Ginger Chicken, Prime Rib, or Salmon & Teri Chicken. Chef Paul is a great cook and serves up quality food!!! Can’t wait til next time to try his shave ice! He also offers sugar-free syrup!

I noticed this place on the right side of King Street last week and decided to go check it out today. I’m so glad I did! The décor leaves a little to be desired, but the shave ice is really good. I ordered a strawberry shave ice with ice cream, azuki beans, and a snow cap. My husband got a Blue Hawaii flavor with ice cream. The syrup selection is pretty standard. The portions were a good size, bigger than Waiola(I don’t remember how big the shave ice is from Matsumoto’s). The smallest size is $ 1.75. The medium is $ 2.75. So Good uses vanilla Meadow Gold ice cream. The snow cap is pure condensed milk, unlike some places that make their own concoction(usually watered-down condensed milk or sweetened whole milk). They also put the azuki beans on TOP of the shave ice, which is awesome because then the beans stay chewy instead of getting cold and hard. The guy that helped us was super nice, unlike some shave ice places that treat you like cattle(I’m looking at you, Waiola and Matsumoto’s). It was a good experience and I’m looking forward to my next Saturday-afternoon shave ice at So Good.
