All you can eat Korean barbecue, this is it! We usually opt for the Garden Dinner, which includes a variety of meats, including marinated beef(bulgogi), seasoned short ribs(kalbi), brisket, seasoned pork; chicken; fried dumplings(mandoo), assorted mini sides(banchan) of kimchi, bean sprouts, fishcake, broccoli, shoyu potatoes, and more. Plus a sizzling platter of corn topped with melted cheese. Yes, you read it correctly, cheese. For every two orders of Yakiniku you have a choice of a single of serving bean curd or kimchi stew. Tip: ask for the shoyu sauce to dip your meats and vegetables in, you have to ask for it. After a savory meal like this I usually like to close things out with a little something sweet. The cold cinnamon tea they serve at the end of the meal hits just the right note. Service is usually good when it’s not too busy, but if you catch them when it’s a full house, you may need to flag down the servers or busboys from time to time.

All you can eat buffet-$ 24 Shilowan or Seoul garden, can’t go wrong with either places. Dinner Quality-8 of 10. Kalbi is seasoned well and soft. Pork belly, tenderloin. Service-7 of 10. The boys work hard and change your grills often. The ladies may have a little difficulty understanding what you’re ordering. I tend to point to the type of food you want. Lunch-I usually order bulgogi plate or tofu soup. $ 8-$ 12.

Refused us service because they wanted to leave early. Talk about terrible service. You’re better off going to 678 across the street. Younger staff, better service, delicious food.

If I did not know how to speak Korean the rating probably would have been even lower than it is now. I suggest bringing a Korean speaking person with you because sometimes it is hard to tell the waitresses what you want to order or what you need. The meat is good and if you want to get more meat just ask. The provide lost of great tasting side dishes as well. Might come here again.

FINALLYTRIEDTHEAYCE! Review for the Garden Dinner all you can eat($ 23.95) — buffet meats: seasoned rib, marbled beef, pork belly, seasoned cube beef, bulgogi, chicken, pork bulgogi — initial plate comes out with pork belly, tenderloin(seasoned cubed beef???), and brisket(marbled beef???) — DEFINITELY request for the seasoned rib(aka seasoned kalbi/short rib) — buffet comes with banchan, rice, cheesy corn, spicy tofu soup, stir fry noodles, and salad — price not including tip — great for large parties

Service is horrible. If you are a non-Korean they do not treat you kindly nor provide frequent service. A shame because the food is good and I used to bring my Korean clients here. No more!

Best Korean BBQ on the island. Everything is so fresh and taste amazing. Especially there kimchi soup and they have all you can eat for a low price! There sides, meats, soups, just everything so delicious. I come here once a week and they already know what me and my brother order and it never fails. It always hits the spot! I’m from Cali(Southern California) and this reminds me of K-town. I love it!

Never again, absolutely awkward when pressured to leave a large tip. The tall male waiter will call the other ‘muscle’ waitresses and what appears to be the owner to strong-arm you into leaving a substantially large tip. They make these sad faces, shake their heads and say they don’t get other pay-just tip only.

The most ridiculous restaurant. The waitress does not care their customer at all. no one fill me water, no one ask me about the food, no one give me the check. When I checked out and prepared to write 10% tips, a old lady snatched the check out of my hand, and wrote down 20% tips by herself! I argued with her why did she do that, she said this is the law to give 20% tips. The first time in my life to know that law is made by this old lady. Outrageous!

I’ve been coming here for over 8 years but I still give it 2 stars and that’s only because the food is consistently good. And that’s the only thing redeeming itself because the customer service her is the absolute worst on this island. Have you ever had someone chase you for a tip they damn well did not deserve? Well come here and trust me this will probably happen to you if not see it happen to someone else. One time I came with 2 other friends. We all ordered the all you can eat dinner for $ 24(think it’s gone up to $ 29). Although we get unlimited we only eat 3 types of meat so we didn’t want to waste meat we wouldn’t eat so we tried to tel her ahead of time when we ordered but she just walked away like always. Brought us so many meats we would never eat and got pissed at us! After we finished our meal out checks came out to $ 35. Imagine our astonishment. When we asked her why we were charged $ 35 for a $ 24 meal she stated she included her tip… Wtf… she wanted to collected $ 11 tip from each of us! So I told her to call the owner cause she’s off her damn rocker. She started muttering in Korean under her breath and recalculated our tabs. More pissed at myself that I tipped her at all that night. Luckily, as of recent it seems they’ve hired younger people who have common sense and decency for goodness sake. These guys are nice and don’t give you stink eye for just asking for a Coke. So I don’t mind giving them a better tip but I will walk up to them and give it to them in cash sometimes cause I don’t want them to have to split it with her.

Had the kal bi, seafood pancake and bibimbap. Service was terrible. We had to ask for everything… from ordering, more water, more little veggie dishes, takeout containers, etc. No one checked on us. Only after we’re done i see the bell attached to the wall. Ugh! Food was just okay, nothing special.

I wasn’t going to write a review but the customer service here sucks. Food was great! Got the combination. I got full so as soon as the server walked pass by me, I asked for some to go box. I was going to ask for more rice and water but she walked away before I even got a chance. Rude! When she came back to give me the to go box, she walked away again. I was going to ask her for some plastic fork. I gave her $ 5 tip but I don’t even think she deserve that. When I was getting ready to leave, I ask for a plastic fork, they don’t even have that lol.

Went there again on Saturday night. Food was great and so was the service. In fact I had to tell them twice not to replace the grill since we were basically finished. The only minor issue was that their credit card machine was down. This has happened before so I am not sure if this is a practice or just a coincidence. Hmm

Every August my family goes to Honolulu, and every year we go back to Seoul Garden for one simple reason. CONSISTENCY, Seoul Garden even on it’s worst nights when everything goes wrong and, trust me I have seen things go truly wrong, the food is consistently decent. There are nights when the food and service sing with the harmony of the spheres, but it is only on the worst of nights that you know what a restaurant is really worth. The Kalbi is always the thing to get, don’t go for the the all you can eats, really it is kinda barbaric, and don’t be afraid to ask which cut of beef is good that evening, the ladies will wink and nod at which cuts are better that evening. The nangmyeon while not amazing is I will say GOOD, the grilled mackerel just the right amount of salty and crispy, the dwaenjangjiage, the right combination of creamy and spicy.

You’re always greeted with a bad, dry, sassy, why you here attitude which is normal for the Korean culture. Left to understand it the service is wonderful. The restaurant is flanked with celebrity meetings that the owner so graciously shares. When inside you feel as if you’re in a small country home in Korea; very authentic. The food is great and the portions just right for a big guy. Before the main course, side dishes arrive which never have a disappointing taste. YAKINIKUISTHEBEST here and the flavors of the meats dance in unison in your mouth. They have this corn dish that comes with the meat that is good and tasty. Somehow the corn matches the ever-essence of the smoke. The kicker is, everything is all you can eat. The staff love the locals and always tease about the portions. LOL! Take a trip to Seoul Garden Yakiniku for a great experience.

The most awkward and worst dining experience we ever had… Normally I’ve come multiple times during lunch and dinner but today was probably the worst of the worst service ever. While ordering food, a male waiter literally called out one of members of our party for«being sassy» close to her face. When paying for our bill, the lady stated that it’s $ 22 for the each of us and how everything was included. Not sure how she got $ 22 when we each got the lunch ayce menu and it’s priced at $ 18.95 so we assumed it was including tip. We were trying to pay with card but she kept saying how she wanted to cash because«the card machine takes too long». Then she complained how my card was taking too long! Money is money and you have a machine for a reason. As we walked out, she demanded the«sassy» person in our party to pay her more than everyone else. What terrible business ethics and customer service. Yeah your food is delicious don’t get me wrong… but who wants to support a business like that?

The only tip I have for this place is courtesy. The waitress and waiter were so rude today to my friends and I. Although I have been to this establishment several times, I was never advised there was button to push until the obnoxious man yelled at us about it today. Then he returned to our table and took my freshly poured water away and gave me a dirty glass of water. Like I’m gonna drink from that glass. We were the only ones admonished for not pushing the stupid button yet everyone else managed to get service without even having to ask. To top it off the quality of food was not great. Last time the kalbi was very gristley and this time they didn’t cook it as asked and it had to be sent back. My friend said the bulgogi was not as flavorful as the last time. My chicken was actually good. Then when we went to pay and it was the same obnoxious man. He wouldn’t take the ticket in his hand and when giving change, he threw it in a basket and tossed it on the counter. My friends and I were surprised to be treated so poorly. He even refused to give my friend receipt for her meal either. Talk about a jerk! I guess not being Korean makes a difference in the quality of service you receive.

Came here again for the second time couple nights ago. Really happy I came here again. There was no hair in the food like the last time. Food came out fast. A lot of banchan. We told the servers exactly what we wanted and they gave it to us no problems. The ladies working there were really nice. The ambiance is nice, not too loud and crazy. Really good for dinner, the hubby and will be back for sure

Best Korean yakiniku that I’ve been to in a long time! For about $ 29 you get all you can eat mountain tripe, pork bulgogi, beef short rib, rib, shrimp, marbled beef, seasoned rib, pork belly, seasoned cubed beef, frank, bulgogi, chicken, a choice of 3 different soups(miso, kimchee, soondubu), sizzling corn, japchae(long rice), and many different banchan(side dishes), and rice! If you don’t want so many meat choices and maybe less banchan you can pay $ 23 for the buffet. Lunch time is only $ 17! I stopped by last night with friends that love buffets and tried Seoul Garden’s buffet for the first time. We originally went to Sikdorak, but the wait time was over 90 minutes! The restaurant there was full and there were over 30 people waiting! So we decided to stop here instead and it was a good choice! We arrived to a half empty restaurant and half empty parking lot. I was a little concerned that someone might think I was next door at Femme Nu because I parked right in front of that business. After we ordered our 5 buffets our food came out very quickly. At least 3 different servers helped us at the same time which made the plethora of tiny dishes come out very fast. They also cooked most of the food for us! I thought it was cool that they used a chunk of meat fat to oil the grills. Although there is a two hour time limit on the buffet, we were all done about an hour after. That’s how efficient the workers were. They made sure that our food kept coming and cooked fast. There was a slight language barrier, but as long as you kept conversation simple, they understood everything. I love how if you need something and they are not around, you could just push the service button at your table. I was really happy with the food and service and will definitely come back.
