The view is The music the drinks are not so pricy and there’s $ 10 fee to get in. the girls dress up so desperately for nothing. It’s way too packed with drunk guys stink like trash. For the most popular bar round the blocks, it’s not popping… At all

Food is overpriced, drinks have literally little to none alcohol and I expect to get a buzz off a $ 20 drink. The staff who wait outside is beyond rude and have no sense of hospitality. Only pros are the pool view & the music on Wednesday. Total disappointment.

Beautiful location, decent food. Service was so-so but i guess they were missing several people the night we were there. Poke is delicious but it’s hard to not find a good Poke in Hawaii! :) Yum!

White sangria and the pork belly with scallion pancakes are a MUST! Best, most tender pork belly I’ve ever eaten!!! Our waiter Ian was attentive and kind and told us everything is made to order, and you can taste it, very fresh. I will definitely return next time I’m in Waikiki.

Ordered the mahi mahi tacos with chips and salsa! Surprisingly, they were amazing. They looked little but we’re very filling! He sauce was also delicious and the chips and salads were decent. Great service and ambiance! Highly recommend!

The view here is priceless! We came here to meet friends during sunset and it was so beautiful. It was so romantic to see Waikiki, Diamond Head and the sunset. We had a table reserved for us outside so that we could enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather. There was a nice breeze but if you do get cold easily, bring a light jacket. We arrived earlier than our friends so we started off with some drinks. I got a virgin lava flow and it was really good! Our server was Kenny and he was fantastic! He explained the drinks, menu and kept coming back to check on us. 5 stars for his customer service! Once our guests arrived, we ordered some pupus. It was tasty! If you go on Friday and Saturday after 9:15pm, there is a cover charge to get in. All other times are free. You can park inside the Sheraton Waikiki, Valet of parking in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Remember to ask your server or bartender for validation if you park inside the Sheraton. If you park in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, make sure to get validation from one of the stores/restaurants in the center.

Oh yeah… this is a must visit! The service was excellent, always greeting with a smile. He listened and knew exactly what we wanted. I ordered the kimchee fried rice and my wife ordered the pork nachos. Both came out quickly and were excellent. To top it off, the view and sunset… omg! The spectacular nature show(sunset) with the accompaniment of live acoustic guitar… what more can one ask for! Tip: Get there an hour early during the week, and maybe more on the weekend. Seating is limited.

Danica was amazing! Great service last night(Friday) she was on top of our orders and very attentive. The pupus were good– we ordered the steak, poké, and edemame. With a night full of lychee martinis and lemon drop shots. Fun night out. It didn’t seem like 8 hours flew by…

«Let’s check the talent out at Rumfire.» «Let’s see what’s going on at Rumfire tonight.» «Bro, Rumfire.» Maybe you’ve heard some version of this or maybe you’ve said it yourself. This is usually said after the first time you’ve been to Rumfire, because this is a place your single friends go to meet other people. Last night specifically the talent was up there and my single friends all did great jobs in the female club courtship arena. Rumfire by design is set up like a mini Thunderdome. Not literally, but if two men enter, one must successfully at least get a number or name or Facebook account for it to be a successful night. It’s also like a Thunderdome in the sense that women literally make laps around the bar/arena all night. I even asked someone if they were training for a marathon and she replied that it was a great work out. I decided that I also had to take a lap around the place as well and I must say the bar and club had a lot to offer. Next time I’m bringing friends. Drinks were about normal expensive club price. They were great drinks though. And so was the clientele.

Came once and last. With over 800 reviews, I think it is clear that this is a local and tourist favorite, so It was a must-visit lounge. Ah, RumFire seems to be a very glorious spot, but I got some news for you. Bad news. Problems were noted. All I wanted was vegetable kimchi fried rice and Jim beam fire mule. It took my server TEN minutes to come back to me to tell me: Sorry no ginger beer!!! Twenty minutes later my vegetable kimchi fried rice came with Portuguese sausage. Twenty minutes!!! Maybe it was coming on a slow boat from China(and it was super empty, only one other table– on happy hour! Well, you got the gist. To clarify, I returned the kimchi, and I left. One and half Unilocal

Loved this place! It was a nice change from all of the typical food and drinks on Waikiki. Rumfire is located in the Sheraton on the beachside. The décor is modern with good views of the ocean, even when sitting at the bar. The bartender was friendly, attentive and took pride in his work. If you like spicy, try the«Ring of Fire». It’s tasted like a margarita with a few more flavors that made it intetesting. It’s served cold in a martini glass. Also good was«Gidget’s Crush» which was like a watermelon soda. If you want a bite to eat they have small plates. I ordered the kung pao brussell sprouts and hubby got the mahi tacos. Both are spicy dishes but the spice comes on the side with the tacos so you can add as much or as little as you’d like. There is usually live music until about 8 or 8:30. When we were there it was a guy playing guitar and taking requests. If you want a well crafted cocktail in a modern atmosphere then definitely check these guys out. We were really happy with the experience.

When you just want a little bite this is the place to go. The appetizer menu read really well. You don’t expect the offerings to have so much energy and flavor so that it will knock your tastebuds over. I started with the spicy ahi poke, the tuna was deep brilliant red, poke water maui, onion, sea asparagus. Some of the best I’ve tasted, clean fresh, perfect. Next Mahi tacos, what a treat on flower tortilla with chimichiuri, miso brown butter, basil kahuku corn salsa. Then pork belly & pancake, braised pork belly, ssam jang, pan seared scallion pancake. Simply awesome all the favors married perfectly, not competing with the main dish only enhancing. The bar is set up nightclub style that leads to a fabulous pool deck and cabanas. Very fun and relaxed. I so look forward to coming back soon when I have more time for the rest of the menu and dance!

Beautiful, just beautiful! RumFire definitely grabbed the cream of the crop when it came to location on the Waikiki strip. You feel like you’re in a Vegas lounge — the inside is very modern, and their patio sits right on a point so you get gorgeous views of the ocean. My boyfriend and I came for some drinks, and of course I had to order a snack because I’m always hungry. I had their poke, which was one of my favorites among all the different pokes I tried on our trip. I requested that they made mine extra, extra, extra spicy, which they did perfectly(it’s described as spicy on the menu, but I overheard an adjacent table complaining that it wasn’t spicy at all, so I’m glad I requested the extra heat). They have happy hour for just an hour every day from 4−5pm. We really enjoyed the few hours we spent relaxing here. Service was great, even though we were pretty much camping out for a while.

Lunch on Waikiki Beach on a beautiful, sunny Waikiki Labor Day Saturday! Place is normally a lounge but doubles as a restaurant in the day. Sheraton is running a promo where kids 12 and under eat free! Had the truffle aioli burger. Pic attached. It was decent. A little undercooked for medium well but good flavor. My big issue is the lack of customer service. Granted it’s almost a poolside lounge restaurant — but gathering from other comments I’ve heard from friends, it’s probably management rather than our server who actually seemed nice. Just no customer service. Small things like not having place setting but instead having a pile of napkins and forks dropped on the table without a a word — kind of like a drive by utensil drop — is kinda weird if your bill suggests tipping amounts asking for 20+%. Also the Sheraton is having a promo at certain restaurants where kids 12 and under eat free from the kids menu — which by the way has really tasty chicken dippers(like mc nuggets). Asking specifically, the waitress told me the deal was 5 and under. It took a walk back to the front desk afterwards to clear up. And at that, the manager had to approve. The food here is decent but the service and attitude was poor. For Waikiki, I guess it’s probably par for course but they really rubbed me the wrong way with not honoring their promotion.

Where to begin… there are some really good and some really«meh» things about Rumfire. Disclaimer: I came on a very HOT and HUMID day while the sun was still up so I didn’t get the full night-time Rumfire experience. Ambiance: Rumfire is easy to find. Nice lounge looking area, bar, and a «seat yourself» process. There are tables near the bar(inside but still open doors) and outside-lots of small tables or even family sized tables with cushiony seats. Anywhere you sit, you can see the ocean and maybe even Diamond Head. The bad with an open area is when its hot out, its HOT while you’re eating. ALSO, drop ONE single fry, and be prepared for the birds. I dislike birds so did not enjoy the 5 birds flying around near the bar and our table. Not to mention some kids chasing them around, causing the birds to flap their birds near our table. Yuck! Food: «A-OK» is right. The kimchee fried rice was good(not spicy), the loco moco patty was slightly overcooked. The drinks were good though, we weren’t here during happy hour or anything so a little bit pricey which is to be expected in Waikiki. Overall, we will be back to see what it’s like at night and wouldn’t mind bringing friends/family when they visit from the mainland. Nice place to sit and eat and talk story… minus the birds: p

This restaurant is located in a hotel: –when you walk in, don’t get confused by the string beading around the area and lush red furniture. You did not walk into an S&M cave. Keep walking! –the outdoor seating is like outdoor furniture with big cushiony chairs with no backs but it’s by the beach, waves are literally crashing up on the back balcony! –the food was good too! We were out partying so we ordered like little children: chicken strips, fries, edamame, and a burger. EVERYTHINGWASDELICIOUS. –the service was busy but hey, they were good to us.

Now to clarify, I have never had a full dinner here, just Pu Pus and drinks. I think they have a more formal menu with sandwiches and such, but I haven’t tried those. The drinks are great. They have a happy hour, but outside of that, bring your wallet…$ 14 a drink. The Pu Pus are great. The fish is fresh and everything tastes good. The view is amazing. You can see Diamond Head as you sip on your cocktail. Happy hour 3−5pm and 9:30 — 11:30pm. Friday/Saturday night this becomes a dance club with a good mix of tourists and locals. Live music in the afternoon. Stop by!

This place is pretty large, and has some pretty beautiful scenic views that can be seen from the outdoors patio areas. We went during a busy Friday night($ 10 cover/per person), and seating was nearly impossible to obtain, most seats were reserved, and others were«seat yourself» assuming your able to find a seat. We did manage to find a seat, only to be told by staff that it was«reserved» for another staff member after we sat down for 5 minutes. …After another 10 minutes of looking for seating, we finally found a place to seat, only to wait 30 minutes for someone to even help us out with just ordering, mind you, my friend actually had to get up and look for someone because we just got fed up with waiting. So being already frustrated, we decided to order. My friend had the Kalua Pork, but she felt that it was sitting out for awhile, so it wasn’t that good. I ordered the pan seared ahi but they simply forgot about it and it wasn’t until after my friend was done eating plus another 30 minutes that I finally got my food. It ended up being so light that it only took me about 2 minutes just to finish eating it. Overall, service, seating… and everything was shitty. I would never put myself through that ever again, super stressful, so not worth it, and extremely overrated.

TOURISTTRAP! Well I suppose it’s in Waikiki so expect tourist prices. I probably would have rated this place 1 star for only the outdoor open air view but service didn’t suck that night especially on a busy night so an added star for that. It’s located in the Sheraton Hotel and parking may be validated for free from Rum Fire if parked in the structure. On a random Saturday night, my friends decided to choose this place to hangout and chill since it’s been years since we’ve been here together. Little did we know it wasn’t the lounge we use to know back in the day when it was a decent place to hang out and talk stories. It turned into a club scene at night where there was actually line to get in and actual cover charge?! Like since when did this happen??? Apparently couple years ago this $ 10 cover charge was put into place. Our group of friends is at that age where we don’t go clubbing like we use to and to think we had to pay cover charge that night was ridiculous. That was unexpected. We decided to just stay and pay the $ 10 since we were already there. Might as well since were out to have a good time anyways. The line getting in was such a wait as well so it felt like I was waiting to get into some hyped up club. And that was pretty much my first impression when I entered. The ambiance immediately screamed club scene and it was definitely crowded. There was only a small area for even what’s considered a dance floor right by one of bars down the stairs. Drinks are at least $ 11+ so expect your bill to be running its tab if you don’t watch how much you’d be drinking in that type of atmosphere. There were no seats available at all, we were standing around going outside by the cabanas looking for places to sit but all we saw were reserve vip areas that were empty. We asked a waitress how much it would be to sit there. We would only need to purchase a bottle to be able to sit in the vip area which for goodness sake was at least $ 280 not including tip for the cheapest bottle. Thought we entered vegas for a while with that price list. There was about 7 of us in our party so when we thought about it we’d spit it $ 50 each to cover the bottle and gratuity itself. We figured that’d be like buying a few drinks at the bar so we figured we might as well just that on that offer so at least we have a decent place to hang out and chill. The area was breezy and nice so I guess you can say it was worth it compared to what it was inside. The outside view overlooks the ocean side of the lounge. We didn’t get to order food as the kitchen had supposedly close already. Wish they had some late night pupus with all this alcohol people are in taking. People can get wild when they don’t have something to munch on. Our waitress was awesome though! She was attentive and catering to serving our drinks as we needed more. I don’t even remember what alcohol we got but we got the cheapest to get us by with different juice mixers. The waitress even got us a cooler bottle that had a custom screen on it that displayed moving greetings that we could change to whatever sayings we wanted like«Happy Birthday» or «Congratulations». That was nice of her as we chose to have many reasons to celebrate that night. Such a friendly waitress, we should have more outgoing ones like her. I wish I remembered her name though. Overall, cool place to hang out if you’re sitting outside on the cabanas. This really is a tourist spot. As a local, I wouldn’t come back unless out of townees who were looking for a upscale place to chill in Waikiki. This place is too overpriced. Maybe happy hour would be a better option if I ever think of coming back.

This place a nice spot to drop into. Chill location with an ocean breeze. I have frequented this place often to listen to their live music. Kamuela Hanohano usually plays here in the evenings on week nights. He has a awesome voice and can play mainstream music as well as Island style music. If you come here during the week, pau hana is the best. Amazing ocean view! If you here on the weekends, the nights can turn into a night club scene with a cover charge. Drink prices can get a little pricey. We sat at a table and were charged a service fee with our drinks. This was a built in tip from what I understand. However that being said the mixed tropical drinks are pretty tasty. They also offer wines, beers and other cocktails. Food is available, honestly all I have ever ordered has been the pupu’s and they were standard. The service is always good here. Parking can be validated.
