1. I enjoyed its location — in a military housing area’s small shopping center open to the public. The housing area is nice — fairly new buildings due to late Sen. Dan Inouye grabbing appropriations for new, decent military housing. Golf course view if you’re in RT’s outside dining area w/out air conditioning, just the nice tradewinds. Nice chatting to the busboy, a military dependent with dreams for his future. Many guys & gals in uniform — is that an Army or Air Force uniform? All branches of the military are working nearby. 2. The décor inside must have been designed by a college freshman.

Enjoyed late lunch with friends. Surprisingly crowded, so the service was a little slow. Our server was a little scarce once she took our order and had to be flagged down for extra napkins, refills on water, and take-out boxes for our leftovers. Still, the full rack of ribs was too much to eat in one sitting and provided another full meal for me another day! The classic bbq glaze was delicious, finger-licking good!

Bill, our waiter was on top of it. Food came out quick, salad bar was good value, and staff was kind and attentive. Had a slight hipcup where a roach was attacking our water glass, but Bill being a professional exterminated that sucker and got us a comped app and desert. Owner also came over, explained and apologized, we do live in hawaii after all and them roachs hiding every. While the roach might be a no go for many, honesty cant control all the bugs and everything was clean aside from that. The handling of the situation was very impressive, so the experience was enjoyable.

I popped in really quick for a bite to eat prior to an appointment. The hostess was relatively friendly and when I told her it was just me, she suggested that I sit at the bar as it would be faster than a table. Awesome. The bartender was very polite and attentive to my order. She quickly brought my drink and took my order(mozzarella sticks and a chicken Caesar salad). She answered my questions about salad options and was very helpful. My food came out quickly and was the appropriate temperatures. The mozzarella sticks were good but the salad wasn’t the greatest. There was just something off about it, I can’t tell if it was the sauce or the leaves were going. It was a decent meal and service was good. The bartender even boxed up my leftovers and got me a drink to go so I wouldn’t be thirsty on the road.

I understand this place is no Alan Wong’s. However, if I find a long curly hair weaved through my spaghetti squash, I would hope that my server would offer more than a quick«oh, I’m so sorry,» apology. As a former server, the very least I would do following an incident like this is ensure that party is well-attended to for the remainder of their stay. Not once were we offered a refill on water or asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. After being asked if we wanted dessert which we declined, she immediately dropped the bill. That’s restaurant speak for«thanks, now please get out.» I mentioned my disappointment to her as we left which I have never done before but I felt was warranted. Food quality was decent, but not enough to move the needle. Very disappointed overall. Management, please train your staff better.

Currently here at this restaurant, I’ve never been in a more unfriendly and unprofessional establishment. Sat down about 15 mins ago I ask our waiter if they had any type of ale he said no, as he left I saw the menu and behold they do have ales. I went to the bar and asked if they could make me a snake bite the bartender just looked right at me smiled and ignored me. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m here with friends I’d leave this place. It seems the only ones who stayed around us were the flies. Get knowledgeable and a more friendly staff.

I would have given this review another star except for one factor — there was a hair in one of the lettuce compartments of the Garden Bar and it wound up on my dad’s plate. Yup. We told this to our server, who had the manager come over to our table to apologize. He did apologize, with the explanation that, «Sometimes, the glass sneezeguard doesn’t catch everything.» … okay. It was pretty gross to see that long hair in my dad’s salad. I suppose I expected some kind of discount as a result, but that didn’t happen. Nothing on our order was compped, but we did get a coupon for«buy one, get one free» for breakfast. I often don’t go to Ruby Tuesday for breakfast, but now that I have a coupon, maybe I’ll get to go. It’s a shame that the whole hair incident took place during this visit, but other than that, our food was DELICIOUS … and that was the premise for writing this follow-up review. My parents usually stick with our«go-tos» at Ruby Tuesday, but on this particular visit, each of us decided to changes things up and we ALL got something different(save for the Garden Bar add-on). My dad and I would gladly order these entrees again. My mom was glad that she tried something different, but I don’t think she was impressed enough with her salmon to order it again. I must say: I’ve tasted lots of different chicken katsus in my life, but I didn’t expect one of the best ones to come from Ruby Tuesday. I was definitely impressed and this«Chicken Katsu Loco Moco» is a dish I’m recommending to anyone I know who loves katsu + loco moco. Here’s what we got: «Chicken Katsu Loco Moco»: I’m always on the lookout for loco mocos with a twist, and I was curious to try this katsu version. I’ve had some katsu mocos at other local plate lunch places, but I was interested to see this chain’s take on it. I was surprised by how good it actually was, based on two factors — the chicken and the gravy. The gravy was WONDERFUL. It wasn’t too thick nor too runny, and it was flavorful. Perfect consistency to make it addictive. I have a love-hate relationship with gravy and tend to be wary of it, since I really don’t like runny gravy. But I’m pleased to say this Ruby Tuesday version had me hooked and I actually asked for another container of gravy to accompany my leftovers. The chicken was perfectly breaded but not too crispy on the outside as well, making it easy to eat; the inside was succulent, juicy and tasty. I would have enjoyed it solo, no gravy included. But, the entrée featured panko-crusted chicken smothered with a rich demi glaze and topped with two eggs. I ordered my eggs over easy(as I usually do when it comes to loco moco) and once the egg yolk was broken, it was like a party of explosion in my mouth with every bite. «Hickory Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop»: This was the entrée my dad decided to try during this visit. It featured a succulent pork chop finished on the grill, then glazed with a hickory BBQ sauce. It was served with white Cheddar mashed potatoes and green beans. The white cheddar mash was absolutely spectacular and had lots of flavor. And, my dad said the green beans balanced out the savory meal well. He really liked the taste of the pork chop, saying that it wasn’t too fatty or tough to eat. He highly recommended it and said he would order it again in a heartbeat. «Hickory Bourbon Glazed Salmon»: The salmon sounded promising and looked delicious on the menu, but in reality, it turned out to be burnt and overcooked. My mom was disappointed because it wasn’t as moist as we all thought it would be, but she liked the smoky BBQ flavor, thanks to the glaze. She also substituted one of the sides and got garlic mashed potatoes instead, but stuck with the grilled zucchini. She said that if the salmon wasn’t overdone, this meal would have been perfect. Still, she was glad to have tried something different from her usual soup order.

The service is really good. We had Juanita as our server and she took really good care of us and was extremely friendly. I ordered the hot wings. The sauce and the flavor is really good but the wings themselves are mediocre. They dont fry the chicken so the wings are crispy, so when the put sauce on them the skin comes out really soggy. When the skin soggy, I wouldn’t say that the chicken is extremely enjoyable.

I’m a loco moco junkie. I’m also a chicken Katsu fanatic. So when the two get out together, I’m all ears. That’s what I had here at Ruby Tuesday. I was intrigued when both the waiter and server commented«Great Choice.» When it arrived, I was very excited. And I was not disappointed. Despite being smothered in a pretty flavorful gravy and eggs, the Katsu maintained its crunchy outer texture. My one knock was that they were a bit stingy with the gravy. Which made me sad, because at the end I was left with rice w/o gravy soaked into it. Still, if you’re looking for a good lunch/dinner, I definitely recommend this dish.

Bummer. Ruby Tuesday where I come from is waaaay cheaper. A $ 15 salad bar… come on. It’s definitely tasty salad, but for the price the selection should be larger. The prices are outrageous. It almost feels like your being taken advantage of. Hostess was friendly.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Of course Sundays mean there’s football on, but the place wasn’t packed. Still, being the only ones in front of the hostess stand we still waited at least 10 mins: 5 min til someone even acknowledged us, another 5 min for them to clean a table for our party of 5. It didnt take long til our server came to the table and took our drink orders. I guess you can say that’s the only good thing about our visit here. Once our drinks came, we were ready to order. Kids ordered either the grilled cheese sandwich or mac n cheese. I ordered the kalua nachos, no jalapeños or cilantro. This is on the appetizer menu, but I ordered it as my meal. The hubby also ordered from the appetizer menu, but he ordered the sampler. How was the food? Like I said, being sunday with football games playing on each t.v., you figure it would be busy. But that wasn’t the case. There were several empty tables around us. The wait for our food wasn’t so bad cause we were busy watching the game. So why does my nachos still come out just a level above room temp and soggy? Seemed it was sitting right under the heat lamp for a while till they decided to bring it out. ITWASN’T BUSY! Unacceptable! Although I was hungry, I didn’t wanna return it – which meant they would take my plate away and I would have to wait for them to remake it. Hubby insisted I do, so I did. Waited under 10 min. for a fresh warm plate of nachos AND the manager comp’d it from our bill. Still, that being said, I was already over it and didn’t finish my plate. Hubby’s sampler plate consisted of their thai spring rolls, mozzarella sticks, something that resembled boneless fried chicken and some buffalo wings. He was utterly disappointed. The whole dish looked like it came out if their freezer. Overcooked(burnt) chicken, soggy mozzarella sticks, spring rolls that just didn’t seem«thai». He obviously didn’t finish his plate. How was the service? Nothing special. Came by occasionally, filled water once. Not much of a smiler, just someone doing their job and getting through her shift. Don’t normally go to Ruby Tuesdays in general, so I’m actually not sure I’ll be back. I actually didn’t have a welcoming feeling going in or even leaving this establishment. So I guess that’s their lost.

Overpriced even for Hawaii! Restaurant is musty and smells old! Sit outside if you go. You’ll see what I mean. They have signs that say«We Appreciate The Military», but they laugh if you ask about a Military discount. Try it. Staff is friendly though. We got our appetizer free since it came out after the meal did. This place is a one-and-done kind of restaurant. We won’t be back

Great salad bar and really good service. FOOD Ruby Tuesdays is one of the few places where you can get a solid salad bar. They don’t skimp on the options(3 kinds of lettuce, and more than 20 different toppings) and everything looks fresh. In addition to the salad bar I also had their buffalo chicken minis, which were zesty and perfect mini size. SERVICE service was excellent. Everyone working there was welcoming and kind and the manager made the rounds to each table to greet the guests. PRICE: Fair. $ 20 for a salad bar, mini sandwiches and a specialty drink.

$ 21 for a small piece of tilapia and a few shrimp that was too salty is not worth the price. Onion rings were good. Nice area by the airport for a layover meal before we go to another island.

This is a great place to meet up with some friends after work for a drink. I’ll be honest though, I wouldn’t come here because I was craving their food. I’ve been here a handful of times and have never been impressed with their food. This location does have ample parking. If you come at peak times, you will wait for parking and for a table, but it isn’t that much of a wait. The establishment itself is fairly clean. The staff is friendly, for the most part. It is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a really cool, really friendly waiter/waitress. Other times, they aren’t as attentive as you’d like them to be. Bottom line, come here if you have a last minute inkling for some food and drinks. Otherwise, there are probably better options out there. Enjoy.

Overall impression: For the price, the salad bar is the best you’ll get on the island. Average price: $ 18 – 25 for dinner.(You can get away with 15). They also have happy hour, which I’m sure would’ve made it even cheaper. Positives: –Excellent salad bar. I loved everything in it. In Hawaii, most of the salad bars are either not very good, or they are very expensive. This is one of the few places where you can pretty much fill yourself up on the salad bar for a meal and take home whatever you ordered without paying over $ 20 –Lots of people came and checked on us to see if we were okay –The manager, Kane’ala Oana, is extremely personable and welcoming. We got to talk to him for a few minutes and he basically made me want to come here again and again. –free parking and lots of it Negatives: –My fish taco was so-so. I’ve heard that the mud pie and the california flat bread are excellent. I’ve had burgers here that were pretty good too. –It gets busy Tips: –Buy those costco gift cards. They’re a good deal. $ 75 or $ 80 for $ 100 I don’t know why this place has so few stars. It’s really good! I know they get busy, which is why you might have to wait a bit, but it’s worth the wait. The salad bar is absolutely superb. The croutons are bomb! I would tell you to just come for the croutons. But seriously, if all you came here for was the salad bar, you wouldn’t be disappointed.

It was Father’s Day so we decided to eat here for dinner after catching a movie & since we had gift cards that we’ve never used, we figured it was a good opportunity to do so. Upon reaching the parking lot, we saw that there was a long line outside so we thought it’d be a long wait. We had another place in mind as an alternative, but figure we just go ahead and see how long the wait would be for the 3 of us. Sure enough, as soon as we parked the car, we saw that everyone who was waiting outside was already seated and we were seated immediately! My son got their keiki mac & cheese that came with a soft drink, fries & a cookie. I got their seafood thing. I forgot what it was called but it had a lobster tail, shrimp on a skewer, their crab cakes & two orders of mashed potatoes as my sides. My fiancé got a full rack of ribs with their popcorn chicken. I dont know what it was, but their crab cake was SOOOOGOOD! I couldn’t get enough of it, so I was surely eating that baby slowly to enjoy and savor every single bite. I didn’t catch our server’s name but he was awesome. Always checking up on us to see how we were doing, and refilling our waters. I really wouldve given here 5 stars, but the only reason why a star was knocked off was the bathroom. While walking to the bathroom which is located near the bar, there was a smell… a disturbing smell. I can’t put my finger one what it was, but it was really bothersome. And when I got into the bathroom, it was clean. but it felt really dirty for some reason. I just wanted to get in and out of there quickly.

I’m a breakfast fan, but I’m not a morning person. It just so happened I started my day early with some friends and we decided to grab breakfast somewhere close to the Arizona Memorial where we spent the day at. We arrived about 9am, lots of parking in the private lot and when we walked in, the restaurant was pretty empty. The staff was friendly, greeted us, seated us and served us water without a long wait. Our orders were taken shortly after and the food came quick. I ordered the eggs, Portuguese sausage, white(only choice) toast with a side of fruits that was made up of pineapples, grapes and cut strawberries. Can’t mess up on that. Only thing was that my fruits was a bit tart except the grapes. It’s a chain restaurant, so there’s no wow to it. Place was clean, service was fast and friendly. Food didn’t suck. Free parking. If I’m in the neighborhood, I would return for breakfast or lunch again.

I understand that there are over 200 reviews of this place so why would mine be any different. Well, I’ve been here numerous times for lunch or dinner and I would agree that my main«turn off» would be the prices. BUT today, I just wanted to review their breakfast menu and my experience. Nearly a year ago, Ruby Tuesdays started serving breakfast on the weekends. I love breakfast, my hubby can’t start the day without breakfast, so one weekend we decided to come here. It was nice not having to wait for a table, the atmosphere was bright(well, duh), and the staff seemed delightful. I ordered the Big Breakfast which came with a choice of meat(This day I chose bacon and got 4 pieces!), choice of rice, hash brown, fruits, or sliced tomatoes, 2 eggs your way, two pancakes, and 2 homemade biscuits for $ 10 and some change. Egg, regular — I mean how else can I uniquely describe the taste of eggs Bacon — 4 pieces and crispy! Hash brown — not soggy, grilled perfectly Pancakes — moist, tasty(not the best I’ve had but I’ve also had worse) Biscuits — when I first touched it, it was hard(hehe-mind out of gutter please), okay where was I. Oh yah. But I opened it up and put butter and took a bite and I’d have to say their biscuits are delicious!!! Definitely was my favorite. I’ve returned on numerous occasions for their breakfast and haven’t been disappointed yet with what I’ve ordered. A couple of months before thanksgiving they started serving breakfast everyday up til 11am. So I’m guessing it’s getting popular. I’m aware there are a lot of other«cheaper» places to eat breakfast but the cost isn’t too outrageous where it made me regret spending my money. So if one day you wanna take the family or your girlfriends out for more than just an egg mcmuffin, try their breakfast out. They also have a kids breakfast menu starting at about $ 6. Located in the Moanalua Shopping Center next to Baskin & Robbins. Lots of free parking and the wait is almost close to none during this time. Will definitely be having breakfast here again cause I have yet to try their loco moco. :)

I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants… but there are always exceptions. For example, ever try the cheescake or the avocado eggrolls at the Cheesecake Factory? Money!!! I have stayed away from Ruby Tuesdays simply for that reason… which really isn’t fair… or a good reason… so I went when I had the opportunity to go. This location is clean and has an open feel to it. In addition to the bar seating and regular seating, I think they have an outside patio as well. I have been there for lunch on three separate occasions now, and the waitstaff was both patient with me and hospitable. Food seems to come out relatively fast here, and I have never tried the salad bar, but I hear that is a huge draw here. On my three visits I had a burger, a burger, and a burger… yeah…I like mixing it up. I did however try three different burgers… Smokehouse burger This had cheddar, bacon, bbq sauce, and fried onion rings on it. I really liked this burger… it had the right amount of tang to go with the cheese and bacon. How can you really go wrong with that combination? Turkey burger with avocado and bacon This burger had fresh avocado, swiss cheese, bacon, red onions, and pickles. I really liked this combination of ingredients for a burger. The patty was not as flavorful as the beef patty, but I would definitely get it again! Pretzel bun bacon cheeseburger This had bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and bacon mustard mayonnaise. The mustard sauce was a little off-putting, and the pretzel bun didn’t taste like a pretzel… other than that it was ok… i guess. All the burgers I had were pretty messy… not that it’s a big deal… but you will probably need more than one napkin… unless you have a hefty beard to catch all the juices. My burgers were all cooked to the temperature I ordered them at… which does not always happen. Depending on my mood, I would get the smokehouse and the turkey burger again… Maybe I’ll branch out and try something new next time, but at least I know a couple of items I can feel good about!
