Mountain side parking between Nordstrom and Macy’s. I don’t know my way around town too much, but I’ve gone here a couple times with friends and have enjoyed it very much both times. Its a great place to have a happy hour, a party, or some dinner. Food variety is good and yummy! I’ve been here for I believe their monthly women’s happy hour where they have vendors that do massages, facials, psychic reading, waxing, etc… That was A LOT of fun and worth standing in line for about 20 min. Service here has been quick and friendly! I’ll be back for sure! I think my favorite part about this place is the décor and ambiance, its classy comfy.

Ambiance– 5 star. Love it. Staff: Maybe because it was glow night, but the cheap hooker outfits(including thigh highs) really throw off the place. Going into a classier club and seeing that staff. Makes you wonder if they swapped club staff for the night. Drinks are too pricey. Cheaper than places in St. Louis so overall impressed. Kasey had asked why I wanted to leave so soon. I flat out said, «it’s a little lame for my taste.» Work on your staff’s clothing and I will try it again.

I went here on a Saturday night for a going away party. We made reservations for 25 people. I’m not sure how much it was to reserve the tables or what the stipulations of making reservations are. We also were able to set up prepaid drink tickets and pre-ordered food. Great food and great drinks! A little pricey, but remember that on a Saturday night it’s more like a club so drinks are around«club» prices. It’s a very nice venue for get togethers, even for larger parties.

Food is delicious. Served on little tapas plates. My favorites are the yummie carpacio served with capers and little toasts… the poke, if fresh, is the best I have ever had… fried calamari — yumm! And, if they have any fresh pasta dish on special for the evening… that is an EXTREMEMUST! Each creation is a gastronomical treat. And, even tho the prices have gone up over time, you are still getting a bargain at their happy hour prices on food as well as drinks! Located in the easy to find parking of Ala Moana Center. This makes it the perfect place to meet friends after work or… make new ones! Enjoy =)

Review is for night clubbing on a Saturday night. COVERCHARGE $ 10.00 even at 1AM, for ladies. Boo. PARKING = Free, which is a plus, at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Just be sure to enter the third floor level from the Ala Moana Hotel side as we made the mistake of trying to enter from Nijia Market-side and ended up having to drive down a one-way ramp after liberal amounts of cursing at every chained-up entrance. There was another lost soul driving around on the empty parking lot level looking for a way out so we weren’t the only ones. Note to Ala Moana management = chain up the ramp, like all the other entrances that you are NOT supposed to enter! DRESSCODE — according to the reviews I’ve read here, its supposed to be ultra chic and dressy, so we were a bit intimidated — but once we got in it was a whole ‘nother story: women in shorts(two of them), women in jeans, women in slippers. Don’t know about the men, they were all hanging out in the shadows too afraid to approach the inebriated women. DANCEFLOOR = TINY. Like, smaller than my living room. Drunk women dancing on the tables with each other, grinding their hips and making provocative hand motions near nether-regions. Mostly women dancing with women. DRINKS = HOLDONTOTHEM. Some mofo drank my new drink that I left on our table near the dance floor. I look over to see my full glass now almost-empty. I look over again and see another person(woman) pick up my wine glass, bring it to her lips, wrinkle her nose and set it down — seriously WTF? — my poor wine glass, now devoid of drink, was skirted away by a very sleepy looking bouncer who was struggling to stay awake. What a waste of $ 10(the wine was $ 7 but I tipped the waitress with the change) THEPEOPLE = I know younger reviewers have complained this was Cougar-ville but being a Cougar-in-training myself, enjoyed the mixed crowd of younger, older, and really older folk. Military(a few), Asians(a lot). RETURNFACTOR = Nope. I don’t like bad music on tiny dance floors and buying drinks for complete strangers who don’t even dress up.

Experience is between a 2 star &4 star depending on the night & event. Girls night out can be super fun or super frustrating depending on who is organizing it & the chicks who attend. On a club night depends on who has table service. One night there was a super drunk dude who barfed right on the dance floor by the tables! WTH are you new??! He was waaay over 21 should know his limits & how to keep it together. #22/31 Unilocal Review Challenge

Like any other club, there’s a line, but it’s a legitimate line with plenty of people crawling from bar to bar looking for a good buzz. I’m over the club scene, but every now and then it’s important to show your friends some love, suck it up and party like a rock star. Am I slowly giving up my age yet? If you got the yellow fever, this is the place to come. I thought the ratio of female to male were pretty good. The drinks were nice and strong and priced at affordable. I haven’t been here any other time to eat, but it was a fun night. I remember the bartenders being attractive and most importantly attentive. I’m not too sure on the price of entry, because I used my iDcard from islediscount and got in for free!

A classy Ultralounge conveniently located at Ala Moana. Wonderful ambiance, happy hour specials, weekend parties. And I just love the staff. From the managers, bartenders, waitresses… All of them have always been the most gracious to me. I’ve been a regular at Pearl since it’s opening and it remains to be my favorite club in Hawaii. Must Have: Risotto Cakes. The best. Other clubs can try, but in my eyes, they will never top Pearl Ultra Lounge.

Great happy hour. I like it more as a pau hana spot rather than a night club. The space is nice– spacious with 3 separate bars, nice lighting and various places to sit. The happy hour menu is good– go for the poke(nice presentation and very fresh fish), and the sliders(Kobe beef). I think both are around $ 7. Sometimes you will luck out and get to hear some live music. As a club, I think it’s kind of stale. I used to go a lot on the weekends, so maybe it just got old. I just feel like it’s a weird demographic, the music is super mainstream, and it simply feels kind of cheesy, to be honest. Sometimes there is a long line to get in, they charge cover, strict on dress code, and some of the staff aren’t very friendly. I would only go late at night if there was a special event.
