It was a blessing in disguise that the big box store where I originally ordered my flooring told me my shipment would be about 2 months delayed. I started to stress. However, I went to Paradise Flooring and they helped me pick out beautiful vinyl planks and soundproofing underlayment that has a very high IIC rating (which my condo requires).
To be honest, I didn’t think I could afford Paradise Flooring because it was a specialty store and thought big box stores would have better pricing. Well I was completely wrong. My flooring, was a tad bit more expensive, but it is so much more beautiful than I ever expected. Yes they have high end flooring, but they also have affordable selections as well.
Beyond my gorgeous flooring was the exceptional customer service that Carol and Courtney gave to me from day one. As a remodel newbie, I was at a loss. They were so patient with me and gave me so much help and were honest about how long delivery was actually going to take. And to my pleasant surprise, my flooring came in about 1 week earlier. They never turned up their nose at my paltry budget and even took the time to talk to my installer on how to lay down that particular type of flooring.
I wish I had just come here first and avoided the headache of dealing with stores that just don’t care or are simply incompetent. I feel like I wasted so much time! It is a night and day experience dealing with people who specialize in their craft vs a big box store that really has no vested interested in you or your project.

I am a general contractor in California, and I am redecorating my vacation home in Kailua. I was looking for a particular type of engineered wood flooring and found just the right thing at Paradise. It was the only place we could find the European Oak in the finish we wanted at the right price on island. We met with Courtney at the showroom and she was really knowledgeable and great at helping put the order together. Wally then provided a complete and thorough estimate. The material came in on time and their installers did a fine job installing it throughout our lower level. I would use them again next time.

I went to Maru Flooring to check out flooring options and the sales person, Wally, was so helpful and great to talk to. I like their selection and most of all their in stock pieces for all the transitions and baseboards. I will purchase Inovar flooring from them in the near future because I really like the service and products at Maru Flooring.

My contractor recommended Maru Flooring to us because they sell Inovar laminate flooring. Inovar claims to be super water resistant, and #1 in Japan, Taiwan, and Malaysia. My husband likes it because it was not too difficult to install and great quality!
Today i came down to Maru because we needed transition pieces and ¾″ round moldings. I honestly didn’t know what i was looking for, but with the help of the staff i got what i needed and was out of there in less than 10 min! 2 guys helped me. One helped me get the exact pieces i needed and packed it up and even loaded it into my car! The other guy (Wally) took care of my payment and also checked on some information i requested! Both men provided me with exceptional customer service and were friendly! The return policy is 30 days with a receipt and in original condition. I would definitely recommend anyone to Maru who is looking to replace their flooring!
