Hallmark is great and all, but for those really really REALLY special people in your life, Papyrus is where you’ll find not just one – but multiple amazing cards and gifts for them. All their cards are so cleverly crafted… pretty, silly, and sometimes the whole shebang.
They used to have a paid membership fee but corporate decided that it just wasn’t viable for business and now has free open membership for any customer that provides a name, phone number, and email address. I received an $ 8 coupon for any card in my email and ended up getting this adorable birthday card for a friend that was valued at $ 7.95! I love pushing the limits. ;)
They also have a wonderful assortment of novelty books, children’s books, stationery, gift wrap accessories, and women’s jewelry and bags. I also love that they carry Kate Spade stationery. This place is the best little pick-​me-​up, whether you need a card or not.

I adore papyrus. My nieces and nephew introduced me to this specialty card and stationary store. It’s a decent sized shop located in the ala moana mall on the first floor. I occasionally walk in to browse, but end up acquiring a card or two. The perks are pretty awesome when you become a member. You get one free card for joining! Also buy three get one. The quality and craftsmanship of these cards are unique and to me it’s one of a kind. They are hand made and various artists work are displayed on the front. The price ranges from 5 to 8 dollars per card depending on the detail it may be even higher.
The employees are sweet and helpful. Plus the establishment itself sells pretty costume jewelry, bags, stuff animals, and photo frames. Also instead of the standard plain shopping bag, I was given a silver medium pouch. It looked more as if she was giving me a present instead of the items I had just purchased. I will be back!!!

I must say that the service here is outstanding! I bought a few cards, Easter sticker books for all the Easter baskets I need to make, and a cute baby gift! They offered gift wrapping (for the price of the wrapping paper) and they delivered it to me at work! Great customer service and I take back what I said about them before. The workers here are really nice and Oops I must have took it the wrong way when the manager had one of his workers assist me the last time I was shopping in here!

This was my second time to this location. I was very pleased with the service I have received. They were able to refund my purchase without any hassle because I realized that I had bought the wrong wedding card and my shopping experience got my attention because of all the sale items and good gift ideas that I need. I am very glad that I was able to at least get the mugs that I got and this shopping experience on Friday was good and if I need to get cards, I now know where to go. They have an awesome selection of cards to choose from as well as other stationery needs.

At an age of social networking, texting, tweeting, IG-​ing, FB-​ing and emailing — the art of writing an old fashioned SNAIL MAIL card or letter is disappearing. Nothing is more personal (to me) than receiving a card or a letter in the mail. It is with this sentiment that I LOVE Papyrus!
Aside from shopping at my neighborhood Longs for ordinary stationary and boxed cards — this is my favorite place to shop for my writing arsenal. I can tell you this much… I am obsessed with boxed, empty cards (the kind where you write your thoughts, hopes and wishes)!!! I guess this obsession started at a really young age when my mother encouraged me to write to my uncle who lived in England. For whatever reason (s)…I love to write and receive a handwritten note, card or letter.
Papyrus affords me the joy of choosing a card design for everything my heart desires! Although the customer service is a bit lacking… the variety of cards (boxed and individual) far outweighs the lack of help. Besides, I’m not a fan of anyone hovering over me while I make choices whether I want floral cards vs. fru-​fru kine cards. There is a CARD for everything and everyone in this store.
So again, NOT a mall person but I will gladly brave the aimless crowds just to get to this store.

It’s a magical mystery store for stationery fanatics, brides to be for invitations and little trinkets and bobbles to keep it sparkly!
I am one of those who find reading cards like books as in a library, only I do laugh out loud!
Papyrus has cards for every occasion, and they aren’t just ordinary jingle cards, they are beautifully crafted with stock paper and envelopes.
I also love their stationery and boxed cards with their logo hummingbird embossed gold sticker that special finishing touch to their stationery.
They also make personalized invitations (although I’ve never used this service, it seems to be very popular).
My Mother-​in-​law loves the old fashioned way of sending cards, and this is my «to go» store for that perfect gift stuffer.
The meaning of Papyrus is writing material from ancient times and their motto is
life is a celebration.
When you receive a card or a stationery gift from someone with that gold sticker on it or with the hummingbird on the back, you can be assured that they spent extra time reading, smelling and feeling the beauty of the Papyrus and celebrating your day through poetry on paper…
