Ate her with my sis and her two kids for her birthday!!!
The service is decent, although it could be better for such a small little place!
We ordered:
— spicy wontons (yum! but simple. I think we could make these at home)
— pot stickers (yum!!! my nephew loved them and they had fresh veggies with the chicken inside)
— panya burger (VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD!!!)
— laska (good! but my sister didn’t like that it’s two kinds of noodles. kind of like panang curryish with noodles and seafood. stayed amazingly HOT for the entire meal. impressive).
The place is kind of pricey for the asian food you’re getting and I did see some of the «fusion» elements, but mostly, it’s just asian food from different places.
It was tasty though, just not particularly spectacular since I eat asian food like it’s my job and I just though the burger was super legit.

There is only one thing you need to have here… LASKA. I know other places must have it, but honestly I’ve never seen it anywhere else, nor do I care because the one at Panya is so damn good! You think phở is good for a hangover? Have a bowl of laksa, it’ll make the world seem right again. Spicy, milky, seafoody goodness!
It’s nice to have a place you can sit down and grab a bite in Ala Moana, and all the times I have been there the food has come out pretty quickly which I love. Feed me and let me get back to my shopping please! :) Their coffees and teas are pretty yummy, and their japanese style cheesecake and various other desserts are pretty good too.
Interior is nice, food comes out quick. Are they the nicest most customer service friendly people there… no. Very direct, semi-​cold, and just here’s your food, k-​bye. But at least the food’s good. lol.
Karaage chicken is pretty good, crab salad crostini, green curry is good, laska is delicious, i even like their club sandwiches. I wish they were cheaper though :/​
Regardless, I’m a fan. Laska FTW.

I haven’t been back in a while, I should get on that!
I wish i could give Panya a higher rating just because the atmosphere is great and the interior design is wonderful, but the food does not keep up with how well designed this place is.
The Good:

The Bad:
*Asian Fusion Food could be bad too, not focused on one thing
*Their udon was a bit bland
*They don’t really have a «specialty»… well not that I know of.
*A bit price-​y for me, especially for the portions. But it depends what you order too
The Weird:
I haven’t been there lately to say something weird!
