Tried a little of everything spicy tuna maki was difficult to eat because the spicy tuna was just thrown over the California roll and the pieces didn’t stay together … Did I order a spicy ahi bowl? Korean plates were decent with sides of Kim Chee, Mac salad, bean sprouts and is the green stuff bok choy? But for a $ 12 combo the serving size wasn’t quite worth it. Burger was good… Home made and very tasty but lettuce a little soggy. Not worth going out of your way to eat here. :(

Yesterday my husband and I went there to ONOSUSHIANDBBQATLILIHASTREET To buy dinner , There is a men the cashier not friendly at all .I place my order, He calculated all my bills. He give me my change, I was looking all the menu because it’s our first Time to go there … He have a mistake he didn’t give my .98 cents even thought it’s .98 cents and I’m so quiet waiting my order … my point is that HONESTYIS A GOODPOLICY HONESTPERSON !!! I don’t mind that amount but if he keeps on doing that to the people by the people they will never ever prosper in there business especially there new here in Liliha Street. We will not recommend this Ono sushi and BBQLOCATEDATLILIHASTREET And WEWILLNEVERGOBACKTHEREAGAIN No STAR either I just accidentally pressed the STARREVIEWS

Try their ribeye or kalbi plate. Made to order and fresh Korean veggies. Winner. Their poke is a little pricey but top notch.

I live by Liliha Bakery and my palate was craving for the taste of seaweed. Saw this sushi place right by the bakery, was empty. First I ordered a taro bubble tea. When it was handed to me i thought it was my sunglasses, color was pale purple and almost white. I took a sip thinking maybe it’s just the color. So i took another sip and it was just plane crushed ice. I told the lady and she«fixed» it on her way, she told me. «I put a lot of syrup now, now stir it»(with a raised eyebrow) I took another sip and your best bet –it was terrible!!! She even told me that, «Oh you know it depends on the company where we get the syrup» Well lady you should buy a better brand of syrup or use a real flavor. That’s what we get for a cheap price. I gave it another chance and ordered vegetable sushi, 12 pcs for 2.79ish Got home and tried it. The sushi was not even rolled good, seaweed paper were all torn up. Messy rice, not even sticky and still hard. I guess i came the wrong time. Maybe the rice was cooked in the morning(I came at 2:30pm) Sorry to say but one star is enough for you guys.

There garlic chicken was really tasty and they make good sushi. Ordered a fish burger with fries and it was pretty good. They gave a good portion but yes it’s a little pricey. However don’t mind paying if the food is good.

This is a definite hidden gem in kalihi. We live around the corner and love to just pop by for a few hand rolls or donburi. It does take a little while for your order as they make it fresh so if your in a rush, you can make a call in order too. Seating is limited but they have a nice outdoor picnic table with a nice little garden beside that. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant it’s delicious

Had the garlic chicken plate — very tasty dish and lots of garlic. I really enjoyed it! Wish I took a picture but it looked so delicious I just indulged. Had a bite of a spicy ahi hand roll and fish was fresh and delicious. No AC so much better for takeout. You can watch Korean tv while you wait. I’ll come here again!

So the first time I came here I order a spicy ahi don and they asked if I want mayo… And figuring most places spicy ahi comes with mayo I said no so that was my fault… … Gave them a second chance today ordered fries and spicy ahi again and asked for mayo this time, First off my fries looked super crispy but was actually soggy like they were cooked twice, and my spicy ahi came out with no mayo again! When I asked for mayo! So when I point it out I get a lot of attitude and then they just put a little mayo on top of my spicy ahi… Don’t know if that’s how they do it or if they just don’t care but I’m done with this place.

Really peaceful sushi and lunch plate place. Not too many tables to sit at but its well lit and clean. The customer service is great and they make the sushi pretty fast. I can be pretty picky about the rice and this place makes good sushi and the rice is good and firm(not old rice). I had the ahi sushi which was great and bigger than other sushi places.

It’s good but the pricing is outrageous. 8.99 for a small little bento with miso soup that I didn’t like and 18.99 for a Kalbi plate the last time I came there. Plus the Kalbi was charred so black It was barely edible. Other than those precautions, the plate lunches were fine. It was VERY pricey though After 2 months they update kalbi to 10.99 :(

I live in the area and come by a lot to grab food to go. The workers are always nice to me. They are always busy cooking or cleaning. Stella is the owner and she is always sweet. She talks with us and greats us every time. Asks us how we are doing. The Teri beef plate is great and I like the sushi too. The bento is great when you need to grab and go. Everything is tasty. Its not a place to eat at. Its better to buy and go. There is a place to sit outside and inside to wait for your food. LOTS of parking :) super easy to get in and out. Come and check it out. Support the small business owners ;)

PRICEY!!! plate lunches comes with four side korean veggies, rice, mac and your meats. Since the plate lunch were $ 9 bucks a plate I would think it would be packed. My bbq chicken came with TWO normal size pieces of fillet thighs over a bed of rice. Taste, eh nothing different. I wish we went to kalihi bbq instead, their plates are heavier, killer kats and sauce for a way cheaper price. MOOD: Jipped!

this place is awesome. i feel bad because they for some reason have multiple accounts and the old owner reviews are attached. that being said, great korean food. decent price. good value. great to go items especially if you are in a rush. all the to go stuff is like five bucks, good deal. idk, why their reviews are so bad because the food is so good. i hope they are reading this, because they seriously need to straighten out the Unilocal stuff and start their own account rather than taking on all the old reviews from the previous crappy business owners.

Ono Sushi &BBQ has a great sushi & bento menu from Nigiri, Sashimi, Bentos & Musubis. But don’t forget about the BBQ part! They have excellent HOMEMADE Burgers & Plate Lunches like the Hamburger Steak Plate! Ono’s also has a good variety of flavored Bubble Teas as well. Parking is Free & located in the lot in the next driveway(Liliha St)

Worst gyoza of my life. It was deep fried and extra oily and it came with also a oily sauce. Had their bentos before and they were below average. Had an unagi hand roll sushi and the seaweed was soggy shortly after receiving it. Not going back.

New owners, about 8 months. New menu, they have sushi now! They also have home made burgers, not the mass produced, patties in a box. Burger was not bad. Also had the chicken wing plate. The burger was better… Counter girl said that their Kal-Bi is good but we didn’t try it this time. May give it a shot next time we come for a burger!

Only been open for 6 months. First time to their grand opening! They have all sorts of goodies, including quality boba and the lady made me a tasty maki on a break!

New location, same great customer service! The main thing I like about this new location is… the parking! They have their own small parking lot now which is right next door. No more hunting around, driving up and down Liliha st. looking for street parking, which is just a great feeling. Everything I mentioned in my other review for their old location stands the same. But now they have a kitchen! And now with a kitchen, their menu just expanded big time! From just hand rolls and donburi’s(at their old spot) to actual plate lunches and burgers. This is all due to having a kitchen, something the owners told me they wanted from when they were at the other side of the block. So, with a new location and a revamped menu. I recommend giving this place a go!

I found multiple hairs in my bubble tea. Which is one of the grossest things I’ve ever experienced. Also, I paid for four sushi rolls and they gave me only three, which I didn’t notice until I got home. I was really excited about this place opening up but I doubt I’ll be back unless I need more human hair in my diet.
