Simply the best breakfast on Waikiki. If you think you can beat the pancake challenge give it a shot. You get your picture on the wall of fame.

Tips: If you’re going with a large group, there is the option to split the challenge, but there is a small fee. Location: In side the Hilton Wakiki Hotel Parking: We have always walked there from wherever we were staying, but there is a bit of street parking and you can do valet and they add $ 3 to your bill. Ambiance: Loud, a bit hot since their AC was broke and smells like gooood food! Service: Fast and friendly What we Ordered: We had a group of 6 of us that went to breakfast after a night out and all ordered separate things and decided to share a giant stack of pancakes for the whole table. Oddly enough, none of the regular breakfast food items are worth raving about. They were all good, cooked thoroughly, decently sized portions and tasted like a normal breakfast. The giant pancakes however, were GIANT. We chose theTHE ELVIS: BACON, BANANA, PEANUTBUTTERDRIZZLE. Sounds promising right? Nah, I think maybe the proportions were a bit off. it was extremely peanut buttery and the bacon was overly salty. Maybe if it was in a smaller stack it would have been better. We had almost ¾ of the pancakes still left over and no one wanted to take them home. The pancakes themselves were fluffy and light it was really just the overwhelming toppings. What you should order: …not sure, but i’m willing to go back and try some other pancakes. However, I advise not to order the elvis in a giant stack unless you’re a fan of super salty foods

Dined at Mac 24⁄7 last night with friends and everything was awesome! The seared ahi and shrimp appetizers were a great start to a fantastic dining experience. Because we expected a large party we had a set menu consisting of refreshing ahi poke tacos and kalbi salad, mac & cheese, waffles, and chicken breasts prepared perfectly for fine dining. We were so stuffed we had to share our coffee flan dessert which I would’ve happily gobbled up myself if I wasn’t so full. Our dining experience, the food, the service, the ambiance, everything was perfect! Will definitely recommend Mac 24⁄7 to others. Thank you Mac 24⁄7 for a great evening!

I got the ultimate hawaiian combo which came with grilled chicken, seared ahi, kalbi and fried rice. Husband got the brunch buffet. I loved loved loved that hawaiian combo, it had everything I was craving to eat in Hawaii all on one plate. The food was a little bit on the salty side and it is pricey at $ 25 but considering the quality/quantify, it was worth it. The brunch buffet had a decent selection with french toast, pancakes, sausage, fruit, custom made omelet station and etc. but nothing that impressive. What’s nice is our kid got to eat the buffet for free. They only do valet parking at this hotel property. The hotel is pretty nice and newly renovated. The restaurant is nicer than most casual hotel diner places and open 24⁄7.

This place is open 24⁄7 and sorta hidden gem because it’s located inside the Hilton Waikiki hotel on Kuhio. They serve breakfast 24⁄7 here and they have variety of food here. It’s an alternative to Zippys and great place to come for a drink. If you check in on Unilocal you can get the Mac-Cano drink that is huge! You can share it with probably 2 other people! They light it on fire so it’s fun to take video of it. The drink itself though is super super sweet! This place is also the best place to come for their pancakes! You can definitely share it because portion sizes are insanely big!

Overall impression: Breakfast food is really good. Huge portions. A bit pricey but generally nice ambience. Main problem is the service-not the greatest. Average price: $ 14 – 19 Recommended dishes: Kal bi and eggs breakfast Side of pancakes Kalua pork or salmon eggs Benedict Positives: –the breakfast food tastes really good –they serve a lot –open 24 – 7 –nice view of the outdoors –sort of a new trendy look and vibe –free newspapers negatives: –the service kinda sucked –a bit pricey –parking is another $ 3, not including tip Food: Most of their lunch stuff is pretty average. My friend had the fish and chips-said it wasn’t that good. I had the country fried chicken w/Mac and cheese, which was not too bad, just unhealthy. Some other people I knew had the moon fish tacos and those looked like just so-so. On the other hand, just about all of their breakfast food is really good! I highly recommend any of the eggs Benedicts. Also, their pancakes are good. You can go for the challenge but I guarantee you will feel terrible in the end. I had the kalbi and eggs, and it was really good and very reasonably priced. They even poached my eggs when I requested it! Service: Unfortunately, this is where they really drop the ball. Our food took like 45 minutes to arrive the first time I came(the second time didn’t count because we were actually in another room for a special event). They didn’t come very often to refill waters or coffee. They barely checked on us to see how we were doing. We had to remind the waiter about one of our plates. And then our table had a missing leg and was very wobbly, but they didn’t do anything about it! So sad :( Probably wouldn’t come here again unless on someone else’s budget.

Came here for breakfast on a whim. Ambiance is gorgeous! Food was modern and classic with a twist. Prices are a bit on the higher side but hey, it’s Waikiki and in a hotel! You also have to pay for parking but $ 3 valet service, not bad! We also went out onto the garden and took pictures acting like tourists! I ordered the BBQ Kalua pork eggs Benedict which came with fried potatoes! It was excellent! See pics! I also got a plantation iced tea which was perfect! Not too sweet and not too bland! My Besty got a breakfast mixer which came French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes! Kanak attack!!! I’d like to come here again, possibly for dinner and desserts!

Great ambiance, diverse menu, great service– a tad pricey for what one orders. I enjoyed the Thai steak salad. Wow! Explosion of favors nicely balanced and filling.

I’m one of those who truly enjoys having breakfast for dinner. And if you do too, then Mac 24⁄7 is where you should be the next time you’re craving breakfast no matter what time of day it is. I ordered the free style eggs breakfast which comes with your choices of meat(I chose two strips of bacon and 2 link sausages) and your choice of toast(I chose french toast. yes, it’s an option). It also came with breakfast potatoes, which were one of the best potatoes I’ve tasted. The caramelized onions and red peppers were great additions to the potatoes. I did like the link sausages more than the bacon. The eggs were fluffy and not as bland as it appeared to be. My friends and I also ordered red velvet pancakes to share. The pancakes were a bit burnt, but the delicious syrups made up for that. The pancakes were accompanied by two syrups, maple bourbon and cream cheese. The maple bourbon had a normal syrup consistency while the cream cheese had a more whip-cream like consistency. Both were so delicious, but I think the cream cheese syrup wins only by a hair. The flavorful food was accompanied with splendid service. The prices, however, are a bit steep. Valet available if decide not to street park.

Came by with a friend for a late night snack. We ordered the moon fish tacos to share. We waited and waited filling in the food gap with conversation. Not one staff person approached our table to inform us as to what was up until the manager came and said he was really sorry about the fish taco situation. I informed him we were unaware of a situation as no one had been to our table with updates. He apologized again and left. The tacos appeared finally and were not the outstanding morsels I was expecting-especially after so long a wait. Bush league restauranting to be sure. I’m not going back.

My boyfriend and I came here for our annual Christmas dinner date. We came on Thursday, December 24, around 1 am in the morning. When we arrived we was greeted immediately. We were very impressed with the other employees being very acknowledging considering the fact that the hostess wasn’t there immediately. We were seated in the dining area, very pretty and I loved loved the live dj! We enjoyed singing along to the songs he played/mixed. My boyfriend ordered us the calamari and shrimp appetizer. He got the loco moco and I got the kalbi and eggs. Unfortunately, our main entrees arrived before our appetizers. We were a little upset at first, but then our waitress(I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. Super nice lady though!) was very sorry and explained how the appetizer was sent to the bar instead. She told us that they were making a new batch and that the appetizer was taken off our check. We were very happy then. The food was great!!! The dipping sauce for the calamari and shrimp, YUM! I recommend squeezing the lemon inside! My boyfriend was super full off the loco moco, mind that he has a really big appetite. The kalbi was delicious and a good amount. Waitress was very attentive, kept checking up on us and she also gave us a discounted meal, along with a free dessert coupon on our next visit since we were too full to order dessert. We were very surprised at how much they really care for their guests, which is why I give this place 5 stars. One of the best feeling in the world is leaving a restaurant with a full stomach and a big smile on your face because you had good customer service. Definitely coming back and recommending this place to all my friends!

As a regular customer of Mac247 I just have to praise them for always taking care of me and my guests. I can’t get enough of their tomato bisque with grilled cheese, lobster Mac and cheese, beef stew, calamari, burgers, and their crisp chilled martinis. I especially love their Wednesday industry nights!!! To Kama and the entire staff– 5 stars and a whole lot of thumbs up! See you tonight!

My boyfriend and I came in here for breakfast this past weekend. I first suggest Ihop but because we were having a little mini staycation and celebrating our early 4 year anniversary he wanted something a little nicer for breakfast so we settled for Mac 24⁄7 considering that we’ve never been here before and we were in the area so why not try it out. Valet: They only do valet for $ 3 for 3 hours. So regardless of you stay for an hour it’ll still be $ 3. But the valet people were nice and opened the doors for us and what not. Ambience: This restaurant had a very modern feeling to it. There’s a bar side and the dining area. We were seated in the dining area and when we walked in I was amazed but the amazing color combos and the decorations. They also have a clear glass window that runs across the left side of the room and you can see Hilton made a little garden area which was very beautiful and romantic. We were seated right when we walked in which is great because I was starving and I just wanted to eat. Our waiter was Philipe’ [ I think that was his name. But somewhere along that name lol ] was awesome. He gave us enough time to look at the menu as well informing us about the menu. He also recommended us their pancakes which we did order and was delicious. My boyfriend order the loco moco [ not to sure specifically what they call it but it is loco moco ] but his was good he said but the portion of the rice wasn’t as big as he had hoped for. I order the Mac Attack which is potato [ I replaced it with rice ] bacon and sausage and eggs with the choices of either pancakes or French toast, we got the pancakes. We really enjoyed ourselves here for breakfast, can’t wait to try it for dinner or even lunch.

Heidi is like a serving machine – so much energy. Despite all of her movement she was able to fulfill the dreded ‘surprise me’ food order with pinache – she chose the pulled pork with jalapeño. But would not surprise me with a cocktail… smart girl. The service was prompt I had my food inless than ten minutes. Considering that all of this happened at 1am, it is pretty impressive.

After breakfast, I left as a very happy customer. But I have to admit, I was a lil«hangry»(hungry + angry) at first. If you’re looking to eat right away, you may want to reconsider. On Monday(Labor Day holiday) at 10am, our wait time to get a table was 30 mins. The hotel has ample seating in the lobby, so that was very accommodating. I received a text once the table was ready. Once seated, we waited a good 15 mins before our waitress greeted us and took our order. The wait time for our food was at least another 30 mins. Our waitress knew it was taking a long time and apologized for the delay. She ended up giving us each a complimentary bowl of fruit(cantaloupe, pineapple & blueberries). That was nice. So after a good hour, we were ready to devour our entrees. I ordered the Eggs Benedict plus a side of Mac n Cheese(which did not appear on the menu, but I took a chance and asked if they were serving it). One egg was a little over cooked, but overall it was so flavorful and delicious. It must have been the butter used on the English muffin and in the sauce(just like everything is good with bacon, everything’s great with butter!). The hollandaise sauce was very well prepared. It did not smother the muffins either, so they remained nicely toasted. The potatoes were excellent; very soft, not dry and great with the ketchup. Overall, the Eggs Benedict plate was nicely constructed and I would order it again! The side of Mac N Cheese was such a nice compliment to the meal. I kept going back and forth between my two dishes. Macaroni shells were used. The white cheese was creamy, not too salty, and baked to perfection. Finally, topped off with orange colored breadcrumbs(reminded me of crushed goldfish crackers) and an orchid. It was great! Modern décor and a lovely garden just outside the window made for a nice ambiance. The hostess and waitress both did their job well, providing great customer service. I’d love to come back for lunch and dinner, but will have to make sure I’m not already starved when I check-in. As far as parking, use the hotel valet service and let your server know. Pay $ 3 at the restaurant, valid for 3 hours. One more thing! We assumed this restaurant was inside the Hilton Hawaiian Village(off of Ala Moana). It’s not! It is located near the Honolulu Zoo(Kuhio Ave).

We went to Mac 24⁄7 while my mom was here on vacation. She is a huge fan of food network and has seen this restaurant featured on man vs. good for their pancake challenge. We had very high expectations, and the food was great… However the service we received really put a buzz kill on our visit. We all ordered pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The waitress(wish I could remember her name) came and took our order, very impatiently… She brought us our food, and that was the last we saw of her. The food was really good and the pancakes did not disappoint. Another server(a man) brought us our check about an hour later after we flagged him down. I could understand this kind of service if we had been very busy… But it wasn’t…

What? I’ve been here at least a dozen times and no review?!? I love Mac 24⁄7! My daughter’s 16th birthday was held here because she loved it so much! So my review is going to be an overview of the 12 times I’ve been here. *Note — If you check in with Unilocal, there is a 50% off the Mac-Cano Eruption drink. Parking for this place is one of the reasons it doesn’t get 5 stars from me. You have to valet your car or find street parking. In Waikiki. I have no patience. And if valet is full because of an event, you have to go find somewhere else to park. Sucks when you are jonsing on their Loco Moco with Jasmine Rice.(Valet parking is $ 3, you pay when you pay your food bill. Make sure to give your valet ticket to your server.) Atmosphere is very casual. I find it cold in the restaurant, so I always bring a jacket. I’ve seen the place busy, but never entirely full. There are 2 sides to the restaurant. There is a bar side with booths, and the garden side that has tables and booths. Our family usually eats on the garden side on a high table in front of one of the tvs. Service can be slow, but I am not sure if it is the wait staff or the kitchen. There are times when our food comes out and other times it takes forever(and no one in in the restaurant). My favorite food is a toss up between the Loco Moco or the Eggs Benedict. The Loco Moco is served with jasmine rice with is a really nice touch. But the beauty of it is the gravy. It is de-li-cious! Sometimes, I could just take the gravy and rice. Never mind the rest! Eggs Benedict is a sore point for me. I am on the HUNT for the perfect Eggs Benedict, so if anyone of you want to help me out & tell me where to go, PLEASE do!!! Their Eggs Benedict has a great hollandaise sauce that is just perfect. The Mac-n-Cheese with bacon is good. You have options to get it with bacon or lobster and other things that I can’t remember, but with lobster or bacon, I stopped looking. I guess I am a creature of habit when it comes to this place, always buying the same things. Since I now know this, maybe I will expand when I visit for the 13th time!

Hmmm if you like pancakes… Wait I mean love pancakes, like BIG pancakes as in pancakes for DAYS then come on over. Been here a couple of times to try their other foods besides pancakes and food is just okay. Seemed a little bit pricey for what you get. We just couldn’t believe their chantilly waffles w/strawberries were $ 15 and it tasted like a regular waffle. Service also tends to be on the slower side and it wasn’t even busy the last couple times we went.
