A little hula and some rock n roll on a Tuesday night in Waikiki? Oh, yes! Tourist mode ON. I was thoroughly impressed with the stage performances by Elvis, Celine Dion, and Michael Jackson tribute artists! By the end of the show, they had me clapping, bobbin my head, and toe tappin to some classics like«Burning Love,» «I’m Alive,» and«Smooth Criminal.» If you were born after… let’s say…1980, you may not appreciate all of the music. But seriously, Elvis had me at «My love, my darling, I hunger for your touch.» Heehee! Let’s start from the beginning. We checked in at 7:00pm to pick up our«Premier Cocktail» tickets. It included one beverage(alcoholic or non) from their short menu and a seat in the 750-seat Royal Hawaiian Theater to watch a 1-hour show. As I walked in, it felt like I was getting ready to view an IMAX movie. The large stage was curtained off and flanked by screens that would display music videos during the performances. The live band was awesome! They rocked the show all night long, especially during the Hawaiian and Polynesian segments. The hula, fire-knife dancer, and Tahitian dancing were pretty entertaining. There were two fairly good female singers. Some of the male dancers made me giggle, but overall they had some skills and kept my attention. The last few performances included a collaboration with all of the artists singing to Israel Kamakawiwoole’s «Somehwere Over the Rainbow» as well as MJ’s «We Are the World.» Nice touch! Felt like we were one big happy Ohana by the end. Okay, let’s just call it corny and have some fun! When will you ever have an opportunity like this in America? Alright, maybe in Vegas or at your county fair. But, we’re in Hawaii!!! Top the night off by either purchasing the souvenir photo that was captured before the show, or you can take your own selfies with the artists. They’ll be hanging out in the lobby waiting for some cheesin time! T’was another memorable night in Waikikii. Yes indeed! BTW, there’s an option to purchase a luau dinner on the terrace, which happens prior to the show. Although we didn’t opt for that, the food looked pretty good from what I could see while waiting on the third floor. Or, you can purchase a VIP dinner so you can eat a 4-course meal during the show. This is where Elvis might just serenade you with a lei. ;-)

I paid a fair amount to get dinner and a show for my family of four adults. We were able to get a «kama’aina» discount but I have to say that tonight’s show wasn’t the best we’ve seen here. This is our third time because the first two times were GREAT!!! They update their artists and their shows so we figured we could come again and get the same excitement. Not so. The artists were fine but it’s like because it was Thursday, they weren’t yet in full swing … as if it was a «Monday» for office workers as we drag into work from our long weekend. Yuup, that’s exactly what it seemed like. I think I’ll be holding off doing this again for a long while. My suggestion to Rock A Hula … Try giving the same energy in your Thursday shows as you do for Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, make it known(especially to your kamaaina patrons) that it might be best to come on Fridays because Thursdays are reserved for your tour groups and audience might have a language barrier and not respond in kind(quiet, nonparticipants). Otherwise, all dancers, musicians, and stage crew do work hard but tonight were missing the spark that we had grown to love and kept coming back for.

The performance was amazing! They really get into character! We went for my grandma’s 80th birthday and they were very accommodating! We got to sit close to the front AND Elvis have her his scarf and signed it when the show was over! What a beat experience! The dancers are also very good! I would highly recommend this show to complete the Hawaiian experience! I do recommend booking early, we tried to get the luau buffet the day before and it was already sold out… the staff was all very helpful and nice as well!

First let me say it’s worth every penny and the best show available to see in Waikiki – and I would do it again. The reason for 4 stars is it’s hard to hit all the high notes to earn a 5 star«as good as it gets rating» with me. Easy walking distance from the Waikiki area hotels and on the 4th floor of a nice high end shopping center – the Royal Hawaiian, B-4. We had the VIP dinner with tables around the stage, which I recommend. The general admission and Luau dinner folks came in later and sat in balcony theater seats – all with an excellent view. If you really like a Luau buffet, it may be OK but it’s basically dinner outside and then come in for the show – you could eat in the food court in the shopping center and come upstairs for the show just as easily. The service is super! Very attendant servers and the meal was good – steak much too rare for me but that’s OK – I’m there for the show. We saw Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Celine Dion performers along with the typical Hawaiian stuff of native dancers and a great fire dancer. There was also a short, sweet tribute to Brother IZ and the«over the rainbow» song which is the easily best version ever recorded. I’m not a Michael Jackson fan per se but he stole the show! Celine was pretty hot as well and the entire cast was very professional. I hate to be too critical but I have to say that Elvis was rather lukewarm – from his too short black pants to his half-hearted singing – it was hard to even hear him at times. He seemed like a nice guy and very personable as the lead act, but if you have ever seen other Elvis acts, this one needs some work – he does not look that Elvisey either I have to add – especially compared to MJ. Again, great show overall and well worth your time and money when having a good time in Waikiki. Compare prices – we saved a few bucks through an agency.

I was super excited to be sitting stage side when we purchased VIP tickets to this show. We had a dinner stage side, a 4 course meal starting with a lobster and a fresh spring salad. When the main course was about to come, I informed the waiter that I was a pescatarian and I only ate fish. Apparently the menu was a pre fixed menu and everyone was getting steak AND salmon. I told him that it was ok and instead of the steak, just give me additional veggies to compensate for the steak. But the waiter told his manager, Evie about my requests. She came over and told me instead of additional veggies, she would give me something else that was pescatarian friendly so that I get the full value of my meal. WOW talk about service! The entrees came and my dish had salmon and the other half was tofu and sweet potatoes. Yum yum! The food was great! The show, was just as great to match their food and service. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and they completely blew me away. I am really looking forward to coming back and going to another one of their shows. I’d definitely recommend them. Outstanding service, food, and show!

We got the VIP tickets and we had a great time. You show up well before the show to have dinner. They start you with a mitie. There is a lobster salad when you get there but you you can have it swapped out for all salad if you are not into seafood. Then followed by a salmon and steak. The desert is a pineapple ice cream on top of some more pineapple. The show was great!!!

I freakin’ LOVEd this show. Facts about Legends in Concert Rock-a-Hula: — $ 65 for Show and cocktail. You won’t find a cheaper price, so don’t bother looking for one– unless there was on on Groupon. — Show is 7:45 pm, and doors opens at 7:15pm. Long Line up, so plan to be there early. — Located at the Royal Hawaiian Center on the 4th floor. — There’s no seat assignment. Once you get there, they will seat you, also, keep in mind there is no bad seat. — 75 minutes long. — Don’t forget to bring your camera! You’re allowed to take pictures during the show(without flash) and take photos with performers after the show. — This show is paying tribute to the king Elvis Presley, Little Mermaid Lady Gaga, and to the King of Pop Michael Jackson. — The hula and Tahitian dancers were incredible, and the fire-knife dancer was dazzling and breathtaking. — You will have some time to meet ‘n greet with the performers… Four Unilocal

I loved this show! I brought my parents here and they also was all smiles during the whole show. It was a variety act of Elvis, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga. Every act was very good and talented! They sounded just like the real deal and there was no lip singing! They moved and dance just like the who they were impersonating too! The band was amazing and great energy too! Also let’s not forget the Polynesian fire dancer! The show is about an hour and 15 mins long and every minute of the show was packed with great energy! After the show you can go and take a picture or selfie with the stars too. Each of them were so friendly and accommodating! Great show!

I was skeptical of this because I could see a show in Vegas like this, but I got in free because my friend bought us all tix for her weekend wedding. I really enjoyed this show. Michael Jackson was my fave!!! He was really good. I also liked older Elvis. Lady Gaga was meh. Young Elvis I didn’t recognize because I don’t know his music and his costumes weren’t as iconic. The great thing about this show is they also have some elements of Hawaii in it too. That’s what makes it worth watching it in Hawaii vs Vegas. It was also great when they would come into the audience to shake hands. Afterward, you could get their autograph and take pix with them which was neat! We opted to watch the show only. Not sure how much tix cost.

We decided to see this show at the last minute and found it surprisingly entertaining. The Michael Jackson impersonator was uncanny but I have seen far better Elvis elsewhere. Since the nightlife at Waikiki is really not that exciting for a tourist magnet, this may be the only game in town after 9 p.m.

If you are claustrophobic, DONOT come here. What type of show doesn’t have assigned seating? You expect tourist with no grasp of the english language bum rushing the mezzanine area for seating? Plus the steep stairs to get to the mezzanine and everyone rushing to get to the top was really uncomfortable. Will never come here again. No thanks.

Went with the whole family and the kids loved it! I do strongly recommend the VIP seating. Lobster salad with Salmon and beef tenderloin who can beat that! The band was great and the«legends» we’re awesome! My favorite was Elvis and my wife’s was Michael Jackson. I have to say it was fun for all ages. My children who are 9 and 7 find it enjoyable and my parents who are in there 80’s had a blast!

It’s a fast paced, highly entertaining non-stop 75 minute show — An energetic mix of Rock and Roll music classics, world famous Hawaiian music, and other ‘feast for your eyes’ entertainment. They start with a youthful ‘Elvis Presley’ singing romantic songs from his Made in Hawaii movies, filled with nostalgic hula dancers, and classic film footage of him on two large screens surrounding the stage. Both ‘Elvis’ and his movie footage synchronized their singing! ‘Michael Jackson’ performed energetically with his singing and his signature dance moves and ‘Lady Gaga’ with her throaty voice, also got rousing audience participation. Hawaii singing legend, Bruddah Iz, serenaded us with his soulful rendition of «Somewhere over the Rainbow». Hawaiian hula and Tahitian dancers, and a Polynesian Fire Dancer kept the audience’s attention with their mesmerizing dance moves performed skillfully between Legends performers’ acts. Why go across the island for a Polynesian show, when you can get it ALL in one place? I highly recommend going to Legends in Concert Waikiki! Hawaii peeps, bring your out of town guests!

Very entertaining and fun, high energy show. All performers were so engaged with the audience. The servers were very attentive and polite. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. Very talented group of performers. Michael Jackson’s dancing was superb as was Gagas. Elvis was a charming hunk a hunk a fantastic performer. This show should be sold out. and not be kept a secret. Well worth the modest price! Legends. you have to do more with social media to spread the word and fill the seats!

Sensational!!! OHMYGOSH! The show, dinner & entire staff are AMAZING!!! Quite Extraordinary & Exceptional! Let me start off by saying that these people are at work, but the first thing you notice is that these people aren’t just working… they are having fun and enjoying themselves too! They like what they do and it shows! From the time you get tickets to the very end you are well taken care of. We are impressed with the ENTIRE staff. They operate like a well-oiled machine. This was a «date night» for my son and me. I had originally requested the outdoor buffet, but upgraded to VIP instead… so glad I did. The appetizers and welcoming drinks in the lounge were amazing. My son is 10 and they were prepared with a virgin cocktail for him. No one treated him like the«kid» in the room, but rather a cherished guest. We loved mingling with the other guest & met wonderful people from other countries. We were escorted to our table in the theater and everything was absolutely beautiful. The food was perfect, amazing, wonderful, delicious, yummy and alas beautiful! I was personally happy the Chef came out to greet us so I could thank him for such a wonderful meal. We have lived here on Oahu going on 3 years and I think this is one of the best, if not the best, meal I have had away from home since we have been here. I especially want to draw attention to the steak… it absolutely melted in my mouth. Oh my goodness… that dessert was delectably evil! The entire meal earns my highest honor…“apply to the thigh good”!!! As for the show… it is fantastic! That really does sum it up. My son was in awe from the start when Elvis came down to greet him and gave me a lei. Elvis sort of puts this spell on you to watch his every move. Michael Jackson… I simply don’t know where to start… I find myself without the right words, but in a great way. Phenomenal… there’s a word! I can’t begin to tell you how incredible he is! Truly a must see! I want to recognize the band and dancers as well. They were marvelous! I really liked watching the guy on the red guitar… you could just tell he was having fun and enjoyed himself. We all see Hawaiian dancers all over the island(s), but I must say… their outfits rocked! I think they are the best we’ve seen and we have been to our share of shows. Those dancers, backup singers and band members work their butts off and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful performance. And whoever that guy is that sang«Somewhere over the Rainbow» sounded exactly like IZ… it made chills go down my spine! I must absolutely give a shout out to Evan & Shang for taking such wonderful care of us. Plus, all the waiters(especially Evan)…we loved the dancing on the stairs at the end. You guys are so much fun! You rock! After the show was over there was a «meet and greet». These are extremely talented individuals and they have not let it go to their heads. They are very personable and appreciate you being there. We really enjoyed talking to them, obtaining autographs for my son & getting pictures. Plus, we informed Elvis that my son was a little upset that he didn’t sing Bossa Nova since he’s a huge Elvis fan. Elvis said it used to be in the show… so you know what happened next… He sang a few notes and my son joined in… WOOT! Best time ever!!! It made my son’s night… possibly his year! A great big special shout out to Elvis for honoring our military service at the Meet & Greet… I/we appreciate it very much. You’re awesome! Speaking of photos, I had asked prior to going in if I could take pictures. I was told at the Will Call that I could take pics with no flash and no video. Once inside I noticed a sign in the lobby that stated no cameras, cell phones, video, etc. So I explained to the manager(Shang) and he informed me the process was changing and I could take pictures… but NO flash. OK, so I took some pictures, but since I didn’t have my good camera they didn’t turn out very good since everything goes very fast in the show, but I tried. So, with that in mind, if you have a nice DSLR or SLR, bring it… but no flash and no video! On an ending note, thank you a million times over Shang for taking such wonderful care of us! And thank you for listening to my son sing Tom Jones songs! I said I’d see you on Unilocal and here it is! We’ll be back and hopefully we can talk my husband into coming next time! Note to guest: We went last night, 6 Feb 15. I inquired with Shang as to why it wasn’t crowded. After all, everything was top notch… so why? He informed me that Friday’s are normally slow… perhaps due to the fireworks, etc. and Friday’s are a big deal here. But with that said, there weren’t many people so it was nice for us, the guest, so you didn’t have to deal with so many people.

I was reluctant about going to see this show. Seriously. My dad was in town for vacation and loves seeing live shows. We bought the Terrace Luau package. We went up to the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center and checked in. The staff throughout the night had their aloha on point! So nice! We were greeted by our server and immediately offered a seat at a table(ohana style) and an offer of a Mai tai. Dinner was buffet style and so delicious. Probably one of the best luau buffets I’ve eaten at on Oahu. We were entertained by two hula dances and a ukelele player. After dessert, we walked to the entrance of the theater and took a souvenir photo with Lady Gaga. Now the show it’s self was pretty darn good. I wasn’t bored and my attention span stayed the course. My favorite was Elvis. Michael Jackson was an incredible dancer and singer. These artists really embody the star they are portraying! After the show, we got to do a meet and greet with the stars for photos and autographs. It was good family fun, I definitely suggest you give it a try.

It was one of enjoyable shows that you might expect on your trip to Hawaii. I mean it was a mimic show like some of them in Lasvegas, but not only mimic, It has really great hula and fire dance performance as well. If you plan to go any luau at any hotel to see hawaiian performance in Waikiki, I totally recommend to go this Regend in concert instead. They have good hawaiian food and drinks as an optional, If you prefer vegetarian food, they can take it in advance. You should just go there!!!

We were here on November 19, 2014. We were greeted right away by the Shift Managers in charge that evening. Very friendly, professional and personable(my two fellow scorpions). We purchased the Stageside VIP Dinner & Show tickets which including Mai Tai’s and hor d’oeuvres at the VIP reception. We were seated for dinner front and center stage. Our waiter, Caleb introduced himself and brought us our drinks. He provided wonderful service during our dining experience. Our glasses were very empty. Dinner including a Maine Lobster tail with Rainbow Salad, Salmon and Steak with fresh vegetables and mashed potato. Lava Flow Cake with Macadamia Nut Ice Cream for dessert. The chef who prepared the meal greeted us and ask us about the meal. The meal deserves 5 stars by itself. It was cooked perfectly and the steak melted in our mouths. The show started at 8:00 pm Elvis started the show off with Luau Dancers, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson. We loved the entire show especially Elvis(Johnny Fortuno) and Michael Jackson(Damian Brantley). They were amazing. The best performance was by Damian(Michael Jackson) was so believable. He looked like the late King of Pop and performance like him too. Words can’t describe it so you have to see it for yourself. This is one of the best Legends in Concerts I’ve seen.

Really small show in a really big… empty…room. Legends is exactly like you remember it when you first saw it 20 years ago, except Madonna was killed off and Lady Gaga was added. show was short, about an hour, twenty minutes and the management really does try harder, they call each an every ticket holder to make sure they are going to show up, I was told this is done so they can plan the drink orders. After the show they pass out evaluation forms… Yup, just like college. The biggest problem with the show is that it really does not fit the venue and since the auditorium is set up old-style with the large stage elevated and far away from the audience, you are constantly reminded that it is small, lightly attended show. I feel that Society of Seven is a better offering, since they are both impersonator shows with a little hula and tahitian dancing thrown in.

Vegas-Worthy. I loved this show. It is a great addition to … and evolution of … the Waikiki entertainment offerings. Go to a «real» Polynesian Cultural Center Luau first to learn the history and see the«real» thing. But when you’re looking for more fun entertainment with a Hawaiian flare, go to this show. It is a great mix of an upbeat Vegas-style review show along with lots of great Hawaiian hula dancing, fire handling, and acrobatics. A wonderful feel-good show. Our night featured Vegas-Elvis, Lady Gaga, and Michael Jackson. My favorite was Lady Gaga but all three were good as was the band and all the dancers and Polynesian performers.

This was a really fun show to watch! There was a lot of diversity in the show, from Hawaiian classic music and fire dancing, to songs and dancing from classic impersonators such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Lady Gaga. I absolutely loved Elvis, MJ and the fire dancer! You get a free drink with purchase of ticket, and they have lava flows! It was a really cute show and definitely take time to see it if you’re I’m Waikiki! There’s also a dinner option for a little more, and it looked very worth it! Plus, if you get the dinner option, you can sit in the very front and have the best view of the show! Elvis comes around and shakes your hand, and if you’re in the front you can get lei’d by him!

We had a BLAST!!! If you live here, you may be saying«Hmmm…tourist trap? Will the show be cheesy? Not worth the money? — Nope, Nope and Nope — it was a VERYNICE show! The longest running show on Las Vegas — brought over to Hawaii(Waikiki) — they really knew how to entertain! We bought the tickets for the show + cocktail(no dinner) and upgraded our seats and made them Première($ 20.00/ticket to upgrade). When you upgrade, your seats are reserved — on the very first row on the mezzanine level. First floor — they have the people who bought the dinner + show tickets. Surprised to see about half of the tables were empty. We were also advised by friends to «skip the dinner» and go have a nice meal elsewhere and then go to the show — so that’s what we did. For the show only group — you are asked to get to the theater at 7:30PM for the 8:00PM show. You pick up your ticket at the box office and you get a name tag sticker(ours said Premium), then you go into the Royal Hawaiian Theater and a line forms for people who want their free booze(LOL). The bar is stocked nicely — they make lots of nice cocktails. So once you get your drink — and then you wander around the lobby area to look at items like the outfit Michael Jackson wore, or Elvis wore, or Michael’s Glove, etc. Then the Première group gets to go to a different section in their own little lounge area until the staff tells us that we can go in. One of the girls there told us that Première group will be seated first, that they will call our name — but that never happened. Lots of people just formed a line by the door and we all went inside together, but it all worked out in the end. That staff guided us to the front row(right smack in the center) and we got to sit there and watch the people on the first floor finish their meal. The food, I must say, did not look all that appetizing. We were glad we skipped that portion. The show was FABULOUS. Elvis impersonator was really cute and he did very well singing Elvis songs. Britney Spears… «meh». She looked very much like her, but she wasn’t the best dancer nor was she singing very well. It wasn’t bad though! The best came next — Michael Jackson. Oh my god — you can hear the audience go «Wow…» as soon as he walked on stage. He looked JUSTLIKEHIM, and my goodness he dances JUSTLIKEHIM. He was AWESOME. I think the impersonator’s name is Corey Melton. He was spectacular. He sang and danced to music like Beat it, Thriller, Billy Jean, Jam, and a couple of others. Then we wondered who the fourth impersonator would be — and it was Little Richard! He was so funny, and sang very well. Loved him! I guess depending on when you go, you may see Madonna, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Tyler Stevens(Aerosmith), etc. The Legends in Concert Band was great — they did a spectacular job. The Legends Dancers were nice too. Anyway, it’s worth it. Just go and have fun. I have already told my friends how much fun we had, and they called and reserved tickets for next week’s show!
