Just happened to be downtown where the Parade starts. I had seen this Parade at Ala Moana a few times in the past. Nowadays I try to avoid where Parade is. This was an unexpected pleasant surprise. The best part is that we did not get stuck in the traffic!
06÷09÷12 — 96th Annual King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade
‘Iolani Palace to Kapi‘olani Park, starting at 9am
A lot of horses, a lot of Marching bands, a lot of dancers. I liked the energetic Polynesian Cultural Center gangs the best.
At the same time, there was a Pan Pacific Festival at Waikiki. I first thought this was part of it.
