I always leave satisfied! I’ve been with Jerod since he was a student at Paul Mitchell School. He still continues to learn new techniques. I love how he cuts my hair and keeps my hair short and to my liking! And Will is also there who always keeps me laughing! If you want a great cut and coloring come here!

William is the co-​owner of this place and he’s been doing my hair for over 10 years. He’s great at cutting hair and is current with the times. He’s also very good at doing color and highlighting. He was a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School in Kaimuki and instructs there part time now. When I got married two years ago, he did my hair and all my bridesmaids. I love it when he’s shampooing my hair because he massages my scalp at the same time. He likes to pamper his clients.

Awesome experience every time! Wonderful people, patrons and setting. JoAnnie is like no other, I can’t help but leave my hair in her hands to create the best look for me. Every phase of my life journey seems to express a different personality and this latest visit was a perfect demonstration of another awesome transformation.

Will is awesome. People are always giving me compliments on my hair. He has a great eye for color and style. I trust his judgement. He is also fun to talk to and always offers me something to drink. A hidden gem in Honolulu. Also his services are reasonably priced for the fantastic work he does.

We’ve been going to JPS for twenty years. The whole gang is great and I can’t imagine getting my hair cut anywhere else. Sitting here now, I have a plane to catch and the adaptation to my needs at the moment is wonderful. From quality hair care to a special occasion color ‘flash’ I can’t say enough about Joannie, Chermaine, Will and Jerod.

I really like this place. I cut my own hair for five years until I decided I wanted to get it professionally done. I told the stylist, Jerod, that I wanted to try something new, and that he could decide what he thinks would look good. I was very happy with the results, and I continue to go to JPS Dressers every few weeks to get my hair cleaned up. There is another guy who works there named Wil, who is very helpful and also entertaining to talk to. It is a very close-​knit environment. I always end up talking to whoever else is getting their hair done while I’m there. Met a lot of new people and heard a lot of cool stories. I would definitely recommend this place!

Thank you Will. Im always nervous when I try someone new but you made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. My hair has style again and a color that adds life to my face! People love love love my new hair. especially the color! I will be back to see you again!

Got an appt with will. He was awesome. He listened to what I wanted and offered much appreciated suggestions. He took his time unlike previous hair dressers that either made me wait or rushed. Best hair wash and head massage. I have been looking for a hairstylist for a looonnnggg time. I finally found one. My hair looks fabulous. The price was great too!

I really should have written this sooner — I’ve been going to Will for years now, since he was located at the JPS Dressers on 11^th ave and I followed him to his King St. location. I have thick, heavy, Okinawan hair and Will just knows exactly what to do with it. Before Will, I’ve never been fully happy with how others have thinned my hair or made my layers so I’ve been very very happy since the first time I sat in his chair.

I love William at JPS dressers. I had been afraid to change from my (really) longtime hairdresser (you know how that is). A girlfriend (actually a cosmetic/​fashion stylist) recommended William and for some reason her recommendation struck a cord with me. I changed and I’m so happy. He is sensitive to big changes if you’re nervous about changing to a new hairdresser. My cut is stylish, reasonable, fast but precise. I even had him dye my hair, which is something I was doing myself at home. I’m having him dye my hair from now on. I also realized how much my other guy was over-​charging me!
Most importantly, he listens to what you want and then notches it up one! I would recommend him to anyone, men and women.

Stumbled upon this place thanks to a Groupon special and it was the best daily deal find to date! I bought the voucher on Monday, called to set an appointment on Tuesday, and got my hair done on Wednesday. Here are a few points:
–I called and got the machine but was promptly called back by the owner, William Zhang, who was also my stylist.
–When I arrived I was greeted by name and immediately seated for my consultation. No waiting!
–Just a few hand strokes through my hair and William knew what to do with it. I have very thick hair in the back which is heavy and annoying. He also recommended (not pushed) a new warmer highlight look for my skin tone.
–I was very impressed that during the entire time I was there for cut & color (approx 2.5 hours) no other clients walked in needing his attention. William is very professional and allots ample time to give his clients his complete attention. He knows his workload and will not shortchange one client for another.
I am extremely satisfied with my new look. He took a lot of weight off the back of my head and I think I actually look more tan thanks to his eye for highlight styles!
William is a relationship-​focused and experienced stylist. He was very warm and friendly, not to mention his washing was a great mid-​afternoon relaxer :)
