Walked in and wasn’t greeted. Didn’t know what we had to do either sit ourselves or wait. Finally after a few minutes the lady told us we can seat ourselves. Food portion wasn’t what I expected. Way too little bit. Waitress never came back to fill our water. Disappointed don’t think I’ll come back here to eat. Service here sucks.

Food is good. Service is horrible!!! On multiple occasions I called in my order. When I go to pick it up, they never have it ready in the time period they provide. When I arrive, I need to wait at least half an hour before I get it. Just today, I called my order in and they lost the ticket to my order. It is never clean in there and I seriously don’t know how they pass the sanitation law in Hawaii. If they create a new system on food orders and renovated the place, it would be decent. But it until then, my review will remain the same. I still feel like I’m being generous with my 2 star review.

My Girlfriend & I wanted to try this place. We heard it was good! We sat down & the guy next to us told us that We should go up & order or we’ll be waiting forever for them to come & take our order. Well, so we went to the counter & ordered our food. Well, all I can say is THESERVICESUCKS! No customer services ATALL! The ladies seem as though they rather be home sitting on a couch than working there! No smile, NO help or suggestions! My Girlfriend asked the counter person if she could have water but, NOICE! The grouchy old Lady didn’t even flinch or look at her! No answer at all… WTH? We waited a good 30 minutes until we got our food! I must say it was good! A little cheesy with the serving but, tasty! I got a mix plate…1 piece of adobo chicken about 2 tblsp of pork & peas, about a cup of Pinakbit! Oh well… I don’t think I’ll be going back there again. For those who plan to go… make sure you order your food at the counter before you sit!

I haven’t been to Jesse’s in years! Food still taste the same as it was years ago. The pusit adobo wasn’t really cooked. It tasted half cooked. I like mines really cooked, like adobo style. It was busy and only one server 2day. I don’t have anything bad to say, but good food! I’ll definitely go back!

This is the most authentic Ilocano food that I’ve eaten in Kalihi. Though, I only eat here if I’m with others. Downside: I wish they would do something about the kitchen. Ugh

Had brunch at 10:30 am of chicharron(deep fried pork with onions and tomatoes), longanisa and lumpia. The chicharron was fabulous but the other items were not so good-not flavorful and greasy. I will go back again and again for the chicharron!

I usually go to Bautista’s to get my filipino fix, but when a good friend recommended we go here for lunch, I couldn’t pass the opportunity to try somewhere new. Their Dinadaraan and Pork Guisantes is amaze! Just like grandpa’s! I will definitely be coming here again and bringing friends!

My cousin and her husband brought me to Jesse’s for breakfast while I was visiting Hawaii. It was nice to get away from the tourists for a while! Breakfast ended up being pandisal, eggplant torta, garlic fried rice, longaniza, and shrimp with marungay. All authentic and all very tasty. We also grabbed some pandisal and pianomo rolls to go, which I had with me for the long plane trip home. This place was great!
