I attended a diabetes class(as moral support with a family member) from Kevin Kam. I found the class to be informative and easy to understand. This all due to Kevin as he is knowledgeable and informal. The place is clean and there is plenty parking. I would highly recommend taking a class here from Kevin if you want to learn about diabetes.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an omnipod training class with Kevin a few months ago & recently for a follow-up. He is super friendly and easy-going when going over information and doesn’t make you feel stupid when you aren’t sure of things. I also had many defective pods I didn’t think to return and he was nice enough to give me extras and some other goodies that could aid with the pod. The center is easy to find: it’s on Beretania st. On the left hand side, right after Gros Benet/past Foodland(that’ll be on your right.)

«inControl» is a Diabetes Learning and Resource Center! I first met Kevin and his Mom Georgiana when they were«City Pharmacy» on Kaheka. Kevin and Georgiana took GREAT care of me — I mean, from only the second time I was there, they knew me by NAME! They ALWAYS worked WITH me and was ALWAYS so knowledgeable when it came to pretty much ANYTHING regarding Diabetes, and of course — what Meds were OK, NOTOK, and what would be recommended! I think that the Manufacturers were SO elated at his abilities, that they brought him«BETA» or «PROTOTYPES» of ANYTHING that they thought would be of interest to him. In fact, when the first insulin PENS came out, he showed me THEPROTOTYPE! I was one of the first here to use the Novolog pen! Then later, when the Lantus pen came out, he told me about THAT too! I went with it because I hated poking myself with the syringe up to 5TIMES A DAY! He knew EVERYTHING about Diabetes, SO much that once — I forgot my «Syringe Injector», and was in Pasadena. I went to a «Diabetes Specialist» there, and initially they DIDN’T know what I was asking for! I explained what it did, and after about 20MINUTES, she«guessed» that it was about $ 350.00! I said«it is a syringe injector and made of PLASTIC with a SPRINGLOAD — I know medical supplies are expensive, but NOT $ 350!» So I called Kevin long distance, and I asked him THEEXACTSAMEQUESTION — and he had my answer IMMEDIATELY — he KNEW what I was talking about! I said — «How MUCH is it? Isn’t it about $ 20 – 30?» He said«Yes, I think it is about $ 20.00! How do you want it?» I said«You have one?» and he said yes, and asked again how I wanted to get it? I said use our company FedEx OVERNIGHT, and Georgiana(or someone from there, but she signed the release) TOOKITTOTHEAIRPORT/Main Branch of FedEx, and got it there in time so — I had it THENEXTMORNING! Now if that ISN’T SERVICE and truly taking CARE in your customers — then I don’t know what IS! They are THEEPITOME of WELL-VERSED, INFORMATIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY(treat you like FAMILY!), and UP-TO-DATE with THELATEST in Diabetes TECHNOLOGY! I trust Kevin with ANYTHING regarding Diabetes ANDPRESCRIPTIONS, and Georgiana(who STARTED«City Pharmacy») obviously with PRESCRIPTIONS and now — DIABETESCARE! This is HIS company SPECIALIZING in Diabetes care, helping YOU learn ALL you need to KNOW! So if you know ANYONE or you yourself need someone in Diabetes care that I GUARANTEE you CANTRUST — See either of them at this resource business center! I am SO glad to be «reconnected» to them! AND — as always, they gave of their time by being at the«T.C.O.Y.D.»(«Taking Control Of Your Diabetes») Conference as a EXHIBITOR — AND — INSTRUCTOR! What GREAT, CARINGPEOPLE! I am so glad they are doing what they ARETHEBEST at — treating DIABETES with THEMOST Advanced knowledge available! AND — Thanks for the AWESOMEINFO today Kevin! I learned a LOT at your breakout session! Sadly if ANYTHING — it was TOOSHORT!
