This was my first time at Ichiriki Loft. I had come straight from work so it was great to have such a good happy hour. They had beer and food on the menu. I had Kirin and their spicy tuna. MMM it was very good. The atmosphere was laid back and it wasn’t super crowded while we were there. The staff was attentive and friendly. I would come back.

I’m already a fan of Ichiriki, yet had never been to Ichiriki Loft, so I was excited to attend a private party here a couple of weeks ago! Food was amazing and the service was impressive. I admit I was doubtful that the Loft could live up to it’s downstairs sister since Nabe is really what they do best, but I am now a big fan of the Loft, especially if you’ve got a private party to throw, this place should be top on your list! The Food: Ahi Katsu with shiso leaves — are you salivating thinking about what this would taste like? Well you should be because this dish was perfection! The crisp was just right without being grossly greasy, the ahi was just the right«rawness» in the middle and the whole shiso leaf added just a bit of sweetness. This was by far my favorite dish of the night. Homemade tofu salad, karaage chicken and pipikaula were done well and the miso eggplant and mushroom was another stand out for me. But the best part of the night was the NABEBAR! A full spread of every Nabe on the menu, all simmering across the bar, I think I was in Nabe heaven! I found my new favorite broth that night, YUZU. I’m usually a Pirikara or Ichiriki fan, but Yuzu has now won my heart over, all thanks to the Nabe Bar we’ve finally been introduced! I heard that this was the first time the Loft was trying out the Nabe bar, and if they are wondering if it was a success, I’d say… heck yeah! I loved it! The drinks: Shiso Mojito. JUSTTRYIT. That’s all I have to say about that.(Soooo good, okay, I guess I had just a little more to say about it). The service: Our party filled the entire Loft and there were only a few servers, yet the service never once lacked. They were extremely accommodating, attentive and they worked so hard. Every drink, water, utensil, etc I asked for arrived quickly and without having to ask twice and they were quick to accommodate several guests on the spot that had seafood allergies, or vegetarian needs. Bottom line: If you are searching for a great venue to host a private party, Ichiriki Loft is IT! We had about 55 people in our party and it was a great space to both mingle, or have a nice conversation, and their food, drinks and service will put everyone in a great mood! Can’t go wrong!

Went to Ichiriki Loft for my first time and loved it! Cool, mellow vibes exude once you walk in. Good food, drinks, but definitely the most entertaining if you sit at the bar and have Danny serve you. We were in stitches from all our laughing and got to see Danny dance and hear him sing. Crazy fun! Didn’t really eat since we just had dinner, but did order the Pasta Sticks(it’s some sort secret recipe, but I know it’s got garlic salt and pepper) Looks like pick-up sticks, salty good and very addicting! We also got the Bacon Portabello(bacon wrapped mushroom)…yum! Anything with bacon will put a smile on my face! I heard their Curry Nachos is something to try. Next time fo sho! Rock on Danny! Maybe have cream soda next time? lol! Kidding :) We’ll see you again soon!

I’ve been to Ichiriki, but had no idea Ichiriki Loft existed. I guess the big sign should have given it away. lol. I went to Ichiriki for a going away party for Sara S.(it’s apparently one of her favs). I liked the mixed drinks(you can get any of their shots in drink form. I wasn’t a fan of the artichoke dip and by the time we flagged down a waitress to order more food, happy hour was over. Although the happy hour menu is a good deal and the drinks are pretty tasty, I dont think I’ll be back because the service was so slow.

I’ve definitely become more and more of a fan of this place. Ichiriki Loft has become a must-stop for my group of friends whenever we go out. I LOVETHEHAPPYHOURHERE! Daily drink specials from 9pm-1030pm. $ 3 beers and $ 4 shots(Patron, Greygoose and Jameson) can’t go wrong with that really. Dayummmmm. They also have a pupu happy hour at the same time but only from Sunday to Thursdays. I would recommend the Curry Pizza and Nachos. The curry pizza is very. interesting. But I like it. It’s flat toasted bread with curry flavored ground meat, cheese and a lil sauce. Whatever works! This place has a super chill environment and it has its busy and non-busy nights. They take reservations, so if you’re planning something special or just a chill night out with a group of friends, I would definitely recommend this place. There is a pay-for-stall parking lot behind the building that houses both the restaurant and loft. I usually never have any issues finding a stall. Overall, super chill and loft-like environment. Easy on the wallet during happy hour and I’ll be coming back again and again.

I have to say that Ichiriki Loft definitely grew on me… well actually I’ve only been there twice but hey. Happy hour is damn good, late night runs until 10:30. The happy hour food menu is only Mon-Thurs but the drinks still apply on Fridays. The first time I went was for a typical pre-gaming session of DnB Wednesdays. We had a few rounds of beer and I managed to try the curry pizza, which was not what I expected(it’s hamburger that definitely has curry flavoring but is not«curry» persay) but still good drunchies for $ 4 on HH. The nachos were whatevers for $ 6. You can also apparently order the normal ichiriki nabe! Domestics are $ 2(normally $ 4) and Imports are $ 3(normally $ 5) but it’s all bottles. Also shots of patron, goose and jack are $ 4 each during HH. WOOT! The second time I went to Ichiriki, we did it big for my two friends’ birthdays. Not only did we order multiple rounds of beer and patron shots, we also ordered the $ 5 speciality shots! I swear each person must’ve ordered at least one of each shot on the menu for the lucky bday boys. I got to try the Happy Ending which was very good and peachy. Other honorable mentions include the Kero Keroppi, Blow Job, and the one they set on fire(something with 151 haha). A word on the patron shot: it is not pure patron. They mix it with something lime-y which is fine because tequila is my worst enemy so whatever it is they mix it with makes it bearable. I like that the space is very open, but it’s probably better to get there a little earlier because there aren’t that many tables. Plus, don’t you want to get there before happy hour ends at 10:30 anyways? All in all, it’s super reasonable and a great place to chill with a group of friends cause they have big tables!

Ichiriki Oh I love this place! Ichiriki why you so good to me! I’ve had so many drunk/blackout memories, well maybe not so many blackout memories, but good memories none the less. Alright so this place is located on the second floor on the corner of Piikoi and Kona Street. Next to Ginza. Great place to pre-game before heading over to Ginza. I’m there usually with a bunch of friends, let me tell yah’ we get pretty crazy up in there! Drinks are cheap… well we have a friend that works there so… you know how it works… Pupus are delicious. Curry Pizza is A-Mazing. Get it! Bacon wrapped mushrooms! Get it! Tsukune Tako-yaki! Get it! Note: Place gets busy on the weekends so reserve a table or go early because place is tiny and people there tend to stay till they close. Like how we do.

Impromptu date night with the BF… and I want some nabe! The loft has a very nice chill vibe and I like feeling secluded from the hustle and bustle downstairs. Everyone knows the nabe is delicious here. Spicy Pirikara is my favorite. But seriously, its just NOT enough for this girl. I know i can eat more than the average girl AND occasionally the average guy, but seriously. I need to eat more than 4 thin slices of meat and a measly pieces of shrimp. I truly have nothing bad to say about the flavors. The broth is so tasty I’d throw grass in it and eat it up, but I just need more meat, veggies, everything. MORE!!! OR to compromise make the price about $ 8 dollars less and I’d consider ordering 2 orders for myself. Just too little for the big price tag.

SHNAZZY + SMALL + CHILL – need to kno yo – — entrance off of a hallway above ichiriki in town — pay & park right behind — pupu’s to snack on — chill place to kick it with the homehs – oooouu yeeeah – prices are pretty standard… but the waitress/bartenders are really nice/friendly! it has that lounge-y feel, good for havin a drink after work with the co-workers…which is pretty much the crowd. either that, or the pre-gammers to ginza. – ugh – it’s kinda tiny, which in a way it always seems to have a crowd. but on the bad side, it’s hard to get seats sometimes… especially if you’re with a group. it may feel like everyone knows the bartenders, but that’s cause majority of the crowd goes there because they do… – little insights – i like goin here with mi chicas for a mellow girl night. guys aren’t hounding us if we want to be left alone, but there is the option to flirt with a cutie if we wanted to. but it’s nice cause you feel like you’re out, but not overwhelmed with a packed, loud, drunk bar. it seems like a older-college kid/mid-20’s-ish crowd…

Ichiriki Loft is located upstairs from Ichiriki on Piikoi between Hopaka and Kona St. As for parking, there’s street or the sketchy pay-lot. There’s that other $ 5 pay-lot above Ginza, but I dread walking past or through that sketchy one… I’ve been to Ichiriki Loft more than a handful of times throughout the past couple years. Their late night menu(9pm-close) is extremely reasonable and they offer 25% off all items from 9−10pm. What a deal. The last time I went here was with a friend. We had(in no specific order): Bacon wrapped portobello $ 6 Corned beef and cabbage $ 9 Spicy tuna wraps $ 7 Tsukune Tajo-Yaki style $ 6 I loved each and every single thing we ordered. I think my favorite was the corned beef and cabbage.(I’m a huge corned beef and cabbage fan.) My drinks of choice that night: 1. Purple Rain 2. Shiso Mojito Both were delightful and cleverly put together.(And very dangerous.) I look forward to hanging out at Ichiriki Loft again in the near future. Unilocal 365 — #023/365

Ichicriki Loft has become one of my favorite places because of its great happy hour. Now, I take my happy hours very seriously haha and I miss my Seattle days where happy hours are not only after work, but also at night. Ichiriki Loft has a fantastic one at night And as a super bonus, it’s even on a Friday and Saturday night! On Friday and Saturday 9 – 1030 the drink specials are $ 2 domestic beers, $ 3 Kirin, and $ 4 Goose, Patron, and Crown shots. Until 1000 there are also certain food specials like the Loft Nachos, artichoke dip, poke, and portabella mushrooms wrapped in bacon that are 25% off(unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the food happy hour menu as I was waaaay too excited by my goose shots). This was such a great unexpected discovery and since we had got there without knowing about the specials beforehand we happily ordered a bunch of pupus while I downed numerous goose and tonics haha. I’m not 100% certain what the difference is between the restaurant down below(Ichiriki) and the Ichiriki Loft. The Loft is smaller, but it has a more relaxed atmosphere while still offering their entire menu upstairs as well. There are about eight or so tables that could fit four people and a larger seating area with a couch that can fit a large group as our group of eight fit fine. I’m not sure if shoes are needed, but I think it’s best to dress it up a bit here. An interesting touch was that the music came courtesy of someone’s iPod so whoever’s iPod was being used that night had a very good mix haha. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant where parking is free during lunch, but you have to pay $ 1 hr at dinner time. I suggest to just finding parking on the street as usually there is parking in that area at night. Would I go back? Absolutely. Great atmosphere, good food specials, and great drink specials equals me coming back.

I’ve been here a couple times, but this past weekend I was really surprised by their super cheap happy hour! We got here around 930 and they had $ 2 bud/miller/coors, $ 3 kirin, $ 4 goose, patron and some other hards until 1030! Talk about cheap! I was instantly hooked after the waitress started saying those low numbers! They also have some interesting mixed drinks that sound super delicious(not on happy hour though). There was a bunch of food also on the happy hour menu. We tried poke, nachos, spinach artichoke dip, bacon wrapped portabello mushrooms, edemame. They were all pretty good tasting and 25% off until 10pm! I know they have a great deal on the nabe here, which is the same as in the restaurant downstairs. I love ichiriki nabe… mmm, but i didn’t get up at the loft(i assume its the same quality though!) The atmosphere is really relaxed. Plenty of tables, good seating and the service was really good too. It got kind of loud in there just from everyone’s conversation, but nothing to complain about at a bar/lounge. Cheap drinks + great food + good atmosphere? What more can you ask for?! :)

3.5 stars to be exact: Been here a few times for drinks and pupu with friends, and the food is pretty good… it just depends on what you order. Just last night, I came with my BF to use the Hot Hawaii Deals thing he bought(I think it’s $ 15 for $ 30 worth of drinks and their bar food only). IDK why, but we ordered a lot of food for just the 2 of us: Artichoke Dip, Ichiriki Salad, Spicy Ahi Wraps, Bacon Wrapped Portobello Mushrooms, Ahi Poke, and Sausage Mushroom Pizza. Yes! All that, so shame! Haha… here’s the breakdown: –Artichoke Dip: too much cream cheese. Stay away from this one, unless you like it like that. –Ichiriki Salad: too much dressing, but it was pretty good –Spicy Ahi Wraps: good, but wasn’t as spicy as I prefer. –Bacon Wrapped Portobello Mushrooms: good –Ahi Poke: excellent! Very fresh and not drowning in shoyu! –Sausage Mushroom Pizza: Stay away from this one too — it’s a nice concept, but not executed well. I had their house cab to drink, which was pretty good. Had a few shots, since my co-workers were at the bar(they practically live there!!). It’s nicely decorated and the mood is right for a date or get together with friends. The music was very diverse though — reggae, pop, etc… I don’t remember what was playing the last time I was there!

I’ve been to Ichiriki Loft a few times, mostly for drinking, but the last time there I had a few of their happy hour dishes. Now the drinks here aren’t the cheapest, but they are made well. The same night I tried the happy hour dishes, I did try a couple of their mojitos and for someone who doesn’t like mojitos, I enjoyed the Ichiriki ones very much. Now, the food. From what I remember, I tried the nachos and the spicy ahi wraps. The spicy ahi wraps weren’t anything special. It was just spicy ahi and nori, which you use to make your own sushi, if you will. The spicy tuna was fresh, but not memorable. The nachos, on the other hand, were very memorable. The nachos are not like your typical nachos. I don’t know how to explain it, but it has a different flavor to the nachos, like a slight asian twist to your typical mexican flavor. The ingredients are very fresh and the dish is loaded with toppings. Overall, a very chill and relaxing place that is fun to cruise with friends and have a drink or more. I definitely recommend this place for those, who haven’t been there, and I will definitely be back. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Well that last time we were there, they decided to stay open later than their advertised closing time. When we asked the waitress about parking in the Gyukaku building, she said we would be fine, but she was wrong. Let’s just say I had to pick up my car early the next morning. To add to this story, the waitress didn’t card me… I’m only 26… when asked why, she said she knew we were older than her(22…we asked her) haha. No, but really this doesn’t take down the rating of the place, I just wanted to share my tragic story.

If you are in the mood for some super awesome pupus and great drinks, Ichiriki Loft is the place to be. Their nabe is delicious(and if you are on a date, it’s kind of romantic for the two of you to cook the food together ;)) but their pupus are unforgettable and what keeps bringing me back. I am especially fond of their Avocado Maguro and Chicken Kaarage(see pics!). I am not one for enjoying raw onions but boy, whatever seasoning/dressing’s in that maguro turns me a convert for the duration of the meal =P. The chicken kaarage may not look it, but when you bite into it, expect hot juicy chicken goodness that will have you eyeing the plate(if you are sharing) like a hawk even as you are savoring your first mouthful xD. I love their charming names for some of their drinks and I’ve tried the Guavatini, Shiso Mojito, Purple Rain, and Gummy Bear shot. Big fan of the guavatini and the gummy bear shot is definitely worth trying. I really dig the charming, chill ambiance of this place – great for dates and catching up with friends!

I love Ichiriki but I had a bad experience on my birthday. I decided to celebrate it at The Loft since I liked the cute cozy atmosphere. I thought it would be perfect for my Hello Kitty bday bash. They were nice enough to decorate the couch area and tables for me before I got there. I just dropped off the stuff and they did the rest. I was pretty impressed with the deco and kind servers. So we took awhile to order since we were waiting on a few people. But finally when we did order it seemed like forever to get anything. The first drinks came right away, but the few drinks after that took like another 10 – 15 min. I almost thought they forgot our order or something. The worst part was having to wait TWO hours for our nabes. Seriously… 2 hours for broth. RIDIC!!! Common now, we’re cooking our own food!!! It’s not like they have to cook anything. I don’t understand what took so long but supposedly the kitchen was«backed up.» I was getting furious and my guests were getting so hungry they starting eating the m&ms I gave for party favors. Sad right?! I would say this was probably one of the worst birthdays I’ve ever had. Not only was I sick on my bday but my cupcakes that I had ordered(see Frosted review) came out horrible and so the 2 hour wait was just the icing on the cake for me. Even though it was a 15 ppl party, they KNEW I was coming in with a big party. I reserved it like couple weeks in advance!!! So they should of been prepared. Despite their bad service that night, I still feel like we just came on a bad night cause I went again there tonight for dinner with my girlfriend and service fast and we got our food right away. Nabe was delicious as always and I felt full & satisfied.

A loft environment that isn’t in Chinatown? WHAT?! Well it exists and it is Ichiriki Loft. There isn’t much to say other than it is a fantastic place to hang out, eat, have a few drinks. The menu is the same as downstairs Ichiriki and you have full reign to order a nabe or perhaps some appetizers. It definitely is a nice touch to have the option to either order a full dinner or just some snacks to nosh. The drinks are pretty darn good. They aren’t made with a heavy hand, nor are they made with a light touch either. The selection of martinis is quite good and they are definitely made with some fantastic flavors. Service is good with the waiters and bar staff pretty attentive and quick to serve. The food and drinks came out in a great orchestration that was perfectly timed. Definitely worth going if you want to have some drinks and hang out or have a nice dinner!

I absolutely adore this place! I’ve been here twice over this weekend. Purple Rain and gummy bear shots are yum! I am in love with their Guavatini. If you rock a blue or yellow card, you get 25% off your ENTIRE check on sundays. Best deal ever! I’m also lovin’ the ambiance and comfy couches. I’ll def be paying Ichiriki Loft another visit soon.

I went here tonight to check it out since it’s in my neighborhood. I walked over, and was surprised by the calm atmosphere it offered. My BF and I got garlic fries, edamame, ahi poke, caprese, and bruchetta to share. For drinks, I had the Midnight Tea and the Guavatini. Both of which were good to me. Since it’s in my neighborhood I’ll definately be going back. Our tab was between $ 55 and $ 60. My BF liked it because it’s a place of red hues… which makes it less obvious that he’s turning red by the glass… LoL. Happy hour from 5pm to 7pm, which they offer all their beers for $ 3.50 and a free pupu. From the flyer: «Ichiriki Restaurant is expanding in to an upstairs loft space, opening a new urban lounge & bar called The Loft for a more intimate experience. The Loft offers classic and original cocktails and upscale food in a nice contemporary atmosphere with a candle-lit setting and comfortable couches. The Loft can accommodate up to 55 people and is a great place to relax and catch up with your friends after a tiring day of work.»
