Beautiful place to pick up last minute souvenirs. I was in a mad dash to the airport but was eying the goods all trip long and had to stop by even tho the hubs was blasting my cell w/calls to hurry up. They offer gorgeous gourmet truffles in the case. Small box was under $ 20, I think. What caught my eye were the ornaments. Knew my mom would adore them as she’s an amateur interior decorator so I picked up the one that was winking at me from the window. She loves Japanese things so the Geisha one I chose was perfect. They carefully wrap it so everything makes it back in 1 whole piece. Mom opened the box and was super happy. Asked her if she thought it was cute and she squealed, «OFCOURSE!». Mission completed.

I don’t know if anyone realizes it, but Honolulu Chocolate Company has a Christmas tree full of mermen who are very FABULOUS!!! Aptly named ‘Diamonds of the Sea,’ these will be a conversation starter for any party. Yours for just $ 45 an ornament. The chocolates bring back nostalgia of weekly trips to their Ward Warehouse location. Coincidentally, they no longer carry the dark chocolate mint bark, nor the milk chocolate golden cones. There’s still a bunch of gourmet milk and dark chocolates to mix and match. I’m inclined to recommend the loose pieces over the sets, which seem more like the run of the mill chocolate covered malt balls. Yes, there’s vegan options as well if you’re honey is kind to animals.
