Happy Wahine

Every once in awhile, I like to stop by this über cute boutique to check out the handbags. The handbags at Happy Wahine are user friendly and great for travel because they are lightweight with fabric that is easy to clean. Plus, the handbags are very reasonably priced so you can buy two! One to carry and the other to stow away in your suitcase. I’m a fan of their reversible tote bags. These are also great for travel.
Happy Wahine used to have an assortment of beaded bracelets, which I loved to peruse through. During my last visit here, I noticed that the beaded jewelry was downsized tremendously (used to take up two tables). In its place are an assortment of purse charms that are cute, but not as wearable as the beaded jewelry.
Happy Wahine also offers an assortment of reusable foldable shopping sacks in a variety of colors and prints. These make awesome stocking stuffers during the holidays. Also, they sell cute character luggage tags and key chains.
Now that they got rid of the beaded bracelets, I’m not sure whether I’ll visit as often. Who knows. I admit that I have a purse charm that I have my eyes on though… hehehehehe… (#3)

Whether you’re a wahine or not, you’ll leave this store happy! The sales people are very friendly and offer helpful advice and make sure you find the exact thing you’re looking for.
They carry a lot of items ranging from handbags, to accessories, to gifts. The best thing about the store is they have a wide selection of prints and designs. For those of you that love change, they also have seasonal prints. The quality is super great as well. I purchased the leather reversible bag and it has held up to my abuse. I carry a laptop, charger, wallet, notebooks, etc in my bag on a daily basis and this bag actually can hold everything!

Wahine is the Hawaiian word for Women. So this store is runned by Happy women for happy women. It was nicely themed with Hawaiian type products as well. My sister and Mom loved the place. Since I’m neither happy or a woman, I purchased nothing.

Great store with high quality local stuff.
