I needed a place to style my hair for my wedding renewal later that day. The girl quoted me the day before $ 65 including hair wash. I just wanted my hair washed, a crown placed on my head and the sides of my hair wrapped around the bands of the crown with two long curls hanging down in front and some in the back. This was all discussed the day before when she have me the quote. I get to the place and the girl has her mother do my hair. She was very nice but did not listen to the part when I said i wanted some curls and proceeded to do a beachy look on me… mind you I have straight hair. When she was almost done, no curls in the front yet, she said let my boss look it over and her daughter came to check on her mother’s work. She started pulling my hair on the side more to cover the bands of the crown, pulled out a curling iron… let’s just say she redid what her mother did. When I go to pay she said it was $ 10 extra to wash my hair. I didn’t argue because I didn’t want to spoil my day. So it all came out to $ 85 including tip. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have no other option. BTW don’t have your make up done there. The daughter, after trying to get me to have them do my makeup, confessed that they don’t use good quality makeup.

Quoted a price on the phone only to arrive with couple of extra charges. The two ladies were oblivious and obviously tried ripping tourists off. Tacky and won’t recommend to anyone.

I just got haircut and I love my new hair. I told her why I don’t like my hair and she was very careful when she cut my hair! Now my hair has very nice layers and looks good on me. Everyone talked about Kyoto but she went to japan. I guess new hair trend is coming with her so Erin cut my hair and I give her 5 stars! She gave me nice scalp massage and blowout dry too. :)

My nails were done by kei. I brought a picture of nails that I had seen on their Unilocal page. I wanted the same design except I wanted one color switched. She took a picture of it on my phone and copied it exactly the same way! She was really sweet and she can do any design as long as you bring a picture. My one complaint is that it’s kinda pricey. My nails cost $ 100. But it’s pretty much worth it since she just copies by eye. I recommend this place if you have the money to spend !

$ 50 for a simple haircut??? Yeah right! No layers or anything. That’s way too overpriced!

I had my haircut with Kyoko. She is excellent with cutting men’s hair. If I lived in Hawaii, this would always be my default place to get a haircut!

I usually do not write negative reviews, but my mani/pedi here was so bad that I thought others should be warned. The people were nice, but the actual mani and pedi were awful… I felt it was the worst I’ve eve had. The filing was barely anything and my toe Polish was awful… if you don’t push back or trim the cuticles what do you expect… she didn’t even fully cover the nails with polish… biggest disappointment and waste of money. I’m not sure if I went I after the real nail girls had gone home(4p)…the older lady who did my feet and the girl who was doing someone’s hair came after she was done to do my nails. I do not recommend… I’ll have to go and find another place before I go home.

Walked in and had the greatest haircut of my life and it was under $ 30 for a mens haircut. Would go again!

There are few things I dread more than unkempt toenails when holidaying in a tropical paradise. Fortunately, I was able to walk in and make a same day appointment for a Pedicure at Faces salon. Crisis averted. I returned later and was welcomed warmly by Choon and seated immediately in my very comfortable massage chair with some magazines. A very relaxing Pedi — so relaxing that one of my magazines slipped through my fingers and into the foot bath — oops! But Choon was very gracious about it. She was very gentle and left me with a perfect set of pretty toenails. She was friendly but not too chatty, so I was really able to relax and enjoy being pampered. She dried off my nails briefly with a hair dryer at the end. I would have given a 5th star if there was a proper UV drying lamp/fan, because the hair dryer alone wasn’t really sufficient to dry the polish properly and my nails did get a little scuffed after I left the salon. It’s cash only for anything under $ 40. My Pedi was $ 35, so with tax and gratuity added I was able to pay with my card.

I had my hair curled for a wedding here. Very friendly and efficient service. She turned my long straight hair into beachy waves in 45 minutes. It only costs 35 dollars which is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Kyoko does a great job cutting my hair. She is a hairdresser from Japan so she knows how to cut and texturize my asian hair the way I want it. They have Japanese Hairstyle catalogs to look at for different looks you want. And being that I always like to change between edgy and textured, she knows how to switch my hairstyle. You rock Kyoko, I’ll be seeing you again soon.

Got my hair cut today by Kyoko. She did an absolutely amazing job. $ 45 for a haircut, which I think is actually a really good price considering it’s Waikiki. I’ve been on the hunt for a place to be a regular at… and I think I may have just found it today. It mentions on their website that a haircut will take 45 minutes. I went in for a quick trim, layers, and bangs. Kyoko is great at what she does because it took her about 30 minutes to work her magic. She mentioned that she has been cutting hair for 20 years now. ALWAYS a plus to have someone who knows what they’re doing. I feel like a whole new person with so much weight taken off, even with just a trim! LOVELOVELOVE! Efficient and friendly service, you really can’t beat that. I will definitely be back! The only important information is that anything under $ 40, is cash only!

The woman who cut my hair did an amazing job! The extra items, like a round brush, was way over priced though.

It was 7pm on a Sunday and I was desperate to have my acrylic nails taken off and to get a manicure. Since my regular nail shop was closed, and it needed to be done, i stumbled upon Faces. When I came to the shop I was greeted by the very friendly face of Ann. She told me to choose a color while she set up a small table in the middle of the salon. The job was not easily done, she had a very difficult time taking off my nails, even though they were practically falling off. As for the manicure, I could have done a better job at home. She missed the corners around my nails, and i even left the shop with bits of polish on my skin. Overall the service sucked, there was no massage, my nails look like crap, and I even had to help her pull off one of my nails. Although I will say Ann was a very sweet lady, I will not be going back, it was FAR too overpriced for the service that I received.
