I always go to this one to draw my blood. I went this morning at 8 am. The first technician (Michelle) who has not to much experience, but she had good customer service. She tried my two arms, but could not draw any blood at this time. Then she went to ask another technician (Michelle) for help. The 2nd technician seems had some experience. But no smile at all.

I was extremely pleased with the care provided at this location. They opened promptly and patients were served in an orderly and prompt manner. The facility was clean and comfortable. The technician (Michelle) was technically proficient and, for me, most importantly, had an exceptional professional manner. Michelle introduced herself, was cordial, and told me what she would do in advance at every step. This is the correct and respectful way to treat patients and puts them at ease. Sadly, it is not the current standard everywhere in healthcare. I commend DLS on recruiting, training, and retaining such excellent staff.

Unfortunately, my experience at this location gets worse with each visit. There is a serious lack of customer service at this location in Queen’s Medical Center. I stood at reception for several minutes with 3 people working there and not one of them greeted me or acknowledged me in any way… I finally had to ask what they need from me so that I could get my blood work done and get to work! Seriously?!!
If you have to go to Diagnostic Labs, find another location that has people who enjoy their work and care for their customers!
