I was terrified at the idea of having millions of needles stuck in me. That’s what I thought acupuncture was like. But it’s not. I promise. I’ve always had horrible PMS symptoms. I’m talking about the kind where I literally cannot move or function due to the amount of pain, hot flashes and nausea. Sorry if this is TMI, I figured you need to know how effective this is. Anyway, out of desperation, I finally tried acupuncture. Dahlia talked me through the entire process so I wouldn’t freak out. I’m kind of a control freak; I need to know what’s going on especially if it’s something that I don’t understand. Dahlia was right, I had nothing to be nervous about. Needle insertions actually don’t hurt. She basically places needles in their designated area and I lay on the table and meditate for an hour or so. It’s one of the most relaxing experiences(for me at least). After my first treatment I noticed a considerable difference in the intensity of my PMS. I’ve learned that Acupuncture treatments build upon one another. So it is a good idea to keep going. I’ve now started going to see Dahlia to help with my stress levels as well. It’s amazing how much acupuncture helps. Check out her website. Acupuncture helps with many ailments. I am a 100% believer now.
