Cruzzette

I try to buy something here whenever I’m at the Maunakea Marketplace because the owner, Aunty Cruzzette, is so nice and so hardworking considering her age. I have a lot of respect for people like her. When you see so many young, able bodied men and women loitering around town and not working while older people like her are working hard for a living.
Her clients are mostly Filipinos because she is a Filipina lady and sells mostly produce used to prepare Filipino dishes. No worries, Aunty Cruzzette will give you instructions on how to prepare dishes using her produce and seafood. Her prices are reasonable and I can count on her to pick fresh pieces for me since I’m not very experienced with the types of vegetables sold here. I buy them and gift to friends who in turn will share their home made dishes with me because they know that I love eating Filipino food.
