This place always had a mom n pop feel to it.
It is a relaxing stress free place to eat at. Even the ramen is comforting. The broth was strong and the garnishes were simple.
I forgot what the service was like and that is the way I like it. Most people like servers who pester them with upsales 3 – 5 times. Here I get to wave at the one and only server when I want more booze. Imagine that.
It is a pleasant place.

The feel of the place really puts you into a time machine ease because it feels like you have stepped back a decade or more. It has a very relaxing vibe to it and not too noisy at all.
The service was okay, but I think it was one person doing the entire place so hats off to them.
I can’t imagine that the high prices would get people to come back. but this is a nice location in the area.
