Cell Phones Etc

I just came from Cell Phones Etc. My check/​credit card was stolen and I had to pay my bill in cash. Good thing about Cell Phones Etc is, it’s easy to do that! Very convenient and usually fast and friendly. From time to time there’s a line, but it’s ok, because it’s also a video store! If there’s a line, I browse for rentals while I wait. Plus, Phil really knows his stuff about phones! He’s a wealth of knowledge to talk to! And they offer several different carriers. Like I said, convenient and friendly! The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because when I go there, I have to pay a bill, and that’s just no fun.

Phil is a sexist jerk. I walked in to make a Clear payment and he rudely informed me that «he had to reboot his computer» (which he said would take 10 minutes) so I should just «go somewhere else». Although I did not think waiting a mere 10 minutes was a big deal I got the feeling from his body language that he didn’t want to help me. When I asked him where the closest place was that I could go he said «Upnext Wireless by Kaiser». He then proceeded to continue working with his broken computer.
When I asked for further directions to Upnext Wireless, Phil started to say to me «look honey, if you don’t know where it is…». That’s when I got angry. I told Phil that I wasn’t his «honey» and how dare he talk to me like that. He then told me if I didn’t like it I should leave, and I did. I told him I would give him a bad review for treating so rudely and he said, «don’t worry I’ve got a thousand people online who’ve got my back». Really? Cause this looks like his first review. No wonder.
It is sad to me that this dude feels like just because he might not have made much money off of me he could treat me like a dog. I will never go there again for any reason.
As a side note I found Upnext Wireless and they were friendly and helpful, but they do NOT sell Clear products or take payments, so Phil was sending me on a wild goose chase in the first place.
Dudes like Phil do not deserve our business. Go work at a plant nursery if you hate people so much, Phil. You can talk mean to plants all you want.
