Review is solely about CUSTOMERSERVICE. To the cashier lady whose name I didn’t get(she was wearing glittery Tory Burch earrings). Thank you for being rude to me this morning. When I ordered a SHORT soy latte you could have politely say that you as a vendor do not offer this size and that the smallest you have is a tall. You proceeded the ring me up using the TALL size and when I looked at the receipt and asked you that I ordered a SHORT, you very rudely replied to me that TALLISSHORT. I further explained that tall is not short and that Starbucks have both short and tall sizes. You then replied oh we don’t have kiddie sizes and we’re a vendor and only offer tall. Would it have been so hard to mention that when I ordered a short from the very beginning?! Lady, you need a quick review of what good customer service should be. Rude to the core! Smh!

Hot grilled cheese sandwich, perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside as a weekend breakfast offering. Yum!

Café Aloha is a coffee kiosk located in the Queens Medical Center lobby. It’s a bit confusing — they sell Starbucks coffee, but they’re not actually a Starbucks which means you can’t use Starbucks gift cards there or pay with your Passbook. Other than that hiccup, it’s got everything you need from a coffee kiosk — hot and cold drinks and snacks. Very convenient for those working or visiting the hospital.

This nice little gem is located in the lobby of The Queen’s Medical Center. they have a very small and nice selection of Starbuck items, and some local grill items. Items are limited and go fast, so be sure to order early and before the all go.

In a pinch and need java? This place is a convenient spot. I, however, was hungry, tired and stressed. I tried the place twice. Both times, I arrived after just completing an uncomfortable treatment. My hospital visit was after working a full day and taking the bus. VISIT1 I ordered the quesadilla. AFTER I paid, a hot cheese quesadilla was presented with the information that there was no guacomole left. What? Why didn’t you tell me sooner! At the condiment bar, the salsa looked questionable floating in a sea of melted ice. A plastic spoon – no doubt, used by many patrons – sadly sank in the middle of the tomato remains. Would eating this make me ill? Hungry, I took my chances, but I was upset about an overpriced cheese tortilla without fresh trimmings. I think I paid about $ 4. VISIT2 I put the past behind me. Again, exhausted after enduring an uncomfortable treatment, I stood in line. Before I could even order, a rude employee called out from behind me, «Hi, Leona. I’ll take a large cup.» And, the counter lady prepared that lady’s coffee before I had even opened my mouth to order. Amazing! I don’t care if that lady comes 20 times a day and I’m there only once in a blue moon, she needed to wait her turn. And, if she couldn’t, the counter lady should’ve smiled and told her she’d be with her in a minute. I showed my irritation and told the other customer to wait her turn. I won’t be patronizing this place ever.

I was in a bad mood from having to accompany a family member to the emergency room because of a freak accident so was already furiously hungry, stressed and angry when I had arrived to Café Aloha. However, when in such moods good food can either help you feel better or like what was served here, makes things far worse. Since it’s a small little café it didn’t have many edible items. It mostly consists of drinks. I got excited by the prospect that I could purchase a BC Burrito since I’ve wanted to retry them so I could refresh my memory why I wasn’t a fan of their burritos. Now, I remember why I disliked them. I’ve had better burritos at Taco Bell which isn’t saying much. For over $ 5 for a completely bland burrito that I had to heat up in a microwave myself I felt completely cheated.

I love the Café Aloha at Queens. There are a variety of cold bottled beverages. Also, they serve Starbucks coffee and specialty coffee and tea. They make strawberry, banana, piña colada,

Café Aloha is conveniently located in the main lobby of the Queen’s Medical Center. It’s a «We Proudly Serve Starbucks Coffee» café with a Starbucks knock-off menu, pastries, sandwiches, juices, and more. In terms of food, they don’t carry anything close to what Harkness does. And even Queen’s Café up on the 3rd floor of POB I has a more extensive food menu. Café Aloha offers a minimal variety of snacks, pastries, and other light food items. I believe they feature some sort of pseudo panini pressed sandwich each day, but I swear it’s usually grilled cheese(with or without tomato). There are also refrigerated sandwiches in the cold case that the worker(s) will gladly«grill» for you. Convenience-wise this place is awesome. I see a ton of regular MDs, nurses, and other QMC staff that frequent this place. Patients like it too. Plus, this café is really easy to find because it’s in the lobby. Rarely ever is there more than 1 person working(even at the busiest hours of the day), so the line can get a little long. I don’t mind waiting on most days. However, if I’m in a rush, I’ll make my way to Queen’s Café in POB I. Unilocal 365 — #059/365

A super convenient coffee kiosk located within the main hospital lobby. They have a variety of Starbucks espresso drinks plus many ready to eat sandwiched ans baked goods, energy drinks and sodas. During the day they also offer grilled sandwiches /panini and soups at breakfast and lunchtime. One of the best things are their hours — daily from 6AM to 4AM for your(nearly) round the clock caffeine addiction needs!
