Brian Kim, DDS

I enjoy coming to Dr. Kim’s Office because there is a private parking structure, the office is conveniently in town on Makaloa Street and the staff is friendly and thorough with everything.
I’ve been coming to Dr. Kim for about 2 years and before then, he was my mother’s dentist. Since a child, I was always getting cavities and I’ve had extractions, crowns done, root canals, you name it. He was the first doctor to really inspect my teeth and noticed that I have teeth that are prone to cavities. He recommends me the best options for my teeth and suggests over the counter products to help me with my situations. If I ever have a question or issues, he’s always answers them without hesitation.
The hygienist is also very kind and also thorough. Too bad I only get to see her twice a year: p
Since I’ve been coming to Dr. Kim’s office, its always been a pleasure. Sometimes I forget when my appointment is and someone is always calling me a day in advance to let me know when I am scheduled.

I’m sure most people, including myself, is a person who doesn’t enjoy going to the dentist. But with Mr. Brian Kim, I don’t really mind. The staff is the most friendliest people you will ever meet. Everyone is always smiling, makes you even smile. The atmosphere there is really comfortable. Usually when going to a dentist you’ll fell nervous. But going to Mr. Brian Kim, nobody needs to be scared. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone :)

Fact: 5 years ago Brian Kim conducted root canal on 3 of my tooth of which I find later 2 of them wasn’t necessarily, two of my wife’s tooth. It was done so poorly and quickly that all of our root canal teeth are majorly messed up. I was forced to redo root canal on one of those tooth he had done, and two of my other teeth he did, now I have to do implants. My wife had her root canal tooth redone 3 times by different doctors. Others have said he didn’t do a good job.
I would never recommend Brian to anyone. Worst dentist as far as our real experience is concerned. Pushes for unnecessary expensive procedures to line his pocket, did horrible job. Doubt that has changed.

Seriously, I don’t know a single person out there who enjoys going to the dentist. No, not even the most masochistic people known to me enjoy this type of inflicted pain and discomfort. Dentists are the devil.
Well, all are, except for Dr. Brian Kim. He’s such a saint. I mean, c’mon, take a look at his photo, how can you possibly be intimidated by that angelic face?! His personality suits his appearance, both kind and gentle. Seriously, even his staff (which is mostly family) is exceptionally welcoming and yet, professional.
From the moment you walk into his office until the moment you walk out (even after a root canal), you feel calm and taken care of.
If you’re ever looking for a dentist that is extremely qualified, professional, and unbelievably warm, look no further! Dr. Brian Kim and his staff are the best of the best. At 24 years old, I can say that I look forward to keeping him as my go-​to dentist until I need dentures, implants, and the works as a grandma! So long as he isn’t retired, I hope!

You know that funny feeling in your stomach when you think about your next cleaning? Yeah, that’ll never happen if Dr. Kim is your dentist. :D Everyone who works here is extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
— Top of the line equipment. Lots of techie stuff I haven’t seen elsewhere.
— Massage chair in checkup/​examination rooms.
— Office is very clean without feeling sterile.
— Doctor Kim and hygienists throughly and understandably explain procedures and how to continue good oral care at home.
— Excellent customer service.
— Not a big deal for me because I know how *awesome* Dr. Kim and his staff are but… he’s listed in Honolulu Magazine’s «Hawaii’s Best Dentists» issue for the past two years. His website has links to the articles.
I always leave my appointments feeling good about my clean and bright smile… even if they scold me for not flossing as often as I should.

Fell asleep during surgery possibly because of the awesome massaging chairs and the fact the doc puts like a big eye mask around my face. The front desk is the bomb diggity. So nice and super super helpful even with my crazy calls.
