Ben Kawasaki, DDS, MSD

Doctor Kawasaki is a straight to the point dentist that is very informative before, after, and during your appointment. All questions answered when asked. Very good general dentist that has found many solutions and has done many different procedures to my problematic teeth.
Location: Easy to find (building next to kuakini hospital) with a huge a parking lot.
Customer Service: From his dental assistants to the receptionists they all know how to work as a team and are all nice and friendly. Easy to talk to everyone.
Availability: Wether I have an emergency, booking in advance or for future follow ups there hasn’t been a time where I’ve had to wait too long to see the dentist.

Dr. Kawasaki is approachable, talented, skilled, and thorough. His staff is nice and friendly. He makes pertinent suggestions when necessary and I agree with his approach of prevention rather than symptomatic treatment. I highly recommend him to my family and friends. It’s rare to find a dentist as patient and thorough as him. I feel fortunate to have found him and trust him implicitly.

I had a great experience with this Dental practice. The staff were very professional and courteous. The ladies at the front desk were exceptionally nice and very helpful with any questions and concerns I had. One of the ladies even went as far as drawing me a map to a place I wasn’t familiar with. I went to Dr. Kawasaki for a crown replacement. He was nothing but professional and was able to help me decide which crown was the best for me without putting any pressure on me to choose one over the other. The time and great attention to detail he put into making my crown match my actual teeth was evident. I would definitely go back and would recommend this Dentist to anyone.

Doctor is a good doctor! However, people work under this dentist is very stupid, unfriendly, and luck of knowledge. especially receptionists are so stupid. They are mean to customers and give you an attitude. They almost rip me off for $ 10 000 even though I had an insurance. The insurance covered some portion. The did not research for customers and tell me the truth. luck professionalism and failed to do their job.
they lied and tried to charge me more money. Never trust this dentist.

The only reason that this place doesn’t get a full 5 Stars is that not all of the assistants are as good as Dr. Kawasaki. This guy is smoooootttthhhhhh (for a dentist).
This is not the newest, shiniest place in the world. But you know what, everything works; the chair is comfortable; you are talked through the procedure so no surprises; and he LISTENS to you.

I have the dubious quality of being highly experienced with dentist and their habit of sticking needles, drills, and those things that have long names that mean sharp pokey whirly do-​hickies. This team acts like you actually have feelings and don’t particularly want to be in massive amounts of «discomfort».
I was actually smiling (in a lop-​sided novocain sort of way) when I got out of the chair. I was even smiling when I started to regain the feeling back.
Would I recommend? Yes!
If you need work done, you might as well go to a place that will a) leave you smiling; and b) leave you with a smile that will make you smile.
