Desserts that want to be burgers
Another find using my Unilocal App! I love it! So these are some tasty dessert burgers! I had the strawberry shortcake one and I was not sad with my decision. Nestled between two fluffy cakes are slices of strawberries, a creamy gooey thing, and a whippy thing! I wish I knew what it was but that is the best I can explain them! If you love strawberries you will want to get this before this place goes back to Japan! I also don’t like my desserts to be lonely so I also tried, in the same day, a pineapple pie. It comes in a long stick form, which makes it super easy to just jam in your mouth and devour the thing whole! You guys should try this place Yeeps because it is only for a short time, but also because the lady at the counter looked so lonely! Give her some business and love!

This is one of the temporary businesses in the lower level of Shirokiya. They were here a few months ago and now they are back until the end of September! They’re a bit pricey at $ 2.50 each but super delicious! These desserts are like a Japanese style whoopie pie with the cake being like a sponge cake and filled with a whipped cream filling.
They’ve got various flavors such as Strawberry Shortcake, Matcha, Vanilla, Coffee, Mango, Azuki Bean, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Guava and more! We tried the Strawberry Shortcake and Guava with both being very good. The Strawberry Shortcake was probably the best deal because it had fresh strawberries and custard in there as well. The gava had a real nice flavor though. I have a feeling all the other flavors are tasty so you can’t go wrong, just whatever your preference is. They also sell little pies like naples in flavors like pineapple and apple. I suggest trying this place out before a different business replaces them next month!
