Thee best place to go for anything I may need, whether it’s last minute items I didn’t bring with me to go out right after work, or coffee! They have great souvenirs, that I find still wanting, they’re cute and what can I say, I’ve just been back to home from living in the mainland for 9 years. It’s a great place, can be costly, but what do you expect in Waikiki. When I want a healthy snack as opposed to junk food, ABC store has what I want, it’s convenient, and my favorite place to go since it’s near where I work!

The ABC stores are as ubiquitous in Waikiki as the air we breathe, which is great if you ever need shampoo, snacks, 99 cent Kona coffee or more importantly, alcohol. They are the equivalent of a Rite Aid, CVS or Walgreens around my neck of the woods, but a bit pricier, like Honolulu itself. I learned from the guide on my circle island tour, that ABC stands for: «Always Buy A Corner.» Ok, I guess it makes sense, since they are on almost every corner in Oahu.

In general, I love the ABC stores(that are on every corner), but yesterday I came in here to this location to buy a towel and the store clerk gave my boyfriend and I dirty looks for no reason. Do not appreciate.

Great souvenirs stop and quick snack. Still cannot beat the Walmart prices though. They kept their stores open even during the power outage!

I love all the ABC stores on all the Hawaiian islands, but this is the one I tend to frequent when I’m in Waikiki Beach. It has everything I need without all the mobs of tourists you find at the locations closer to the touristy mega-hotels. You can be in and out of here, lickity split. I’ll do anything to avoid mobs of tourists, even though I’m a tourist myself. I like to be as local and low-key, as possible. I recommend coming here for your sunscreen, bottled water, and to purchase beach towels. Their beach towels are great… soft, comfy, they hold their color after many days in the sun, salt, and washing machine. I have one from 7 years ago that I still use whenever I go scuba diving. It’s held up really well. Plus, some of them say Hawaii on them, so it can serve both as your beach towel while you are there, and remind you of your vacation when you return home. You can also get most of the other convenience store things here. Make sure to ask for your GOLDCARD, too, if you don’t already have one. It’s good for discounts at various places.
