I would highly recommend this place if you have any unwanted gold or silver… John, the owner was honest and down-​to-​earth… Someone you can relate to and appreciate his honesty. He tested the material in front of me and even took the time to explain the process to me when I showed curiosity… If I ever have unwanted jewelry to sell in the future I will definitely be going to him… I wish more businesses were like his!

By far the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to selling my gold. It was worth the drive (coming from Ewa Beach) and I was glad that I came. I was helped by the owner and he was super courteous. He was honest and really tried to give me the absolute highest price. There was also no feelings of being pressured. I will definitely be coming back here if I ever need to sell my unwanted jewelry!

Of all the pawn shops I’ve done business with, this place is far from ingenious. John the owner will treat you with kind and personable service. This place is small but huge in customer service. I will never do any business anywhere else to fullfill my pawing needs. Thank you John for continued great service and proper pricing.

All I can say is wow, what a great experience. The owner is super personable and very knowledgeable about gold. He gave us a great price on two gold rings that my girlfriend and I had found several years ago. This was my first pawn shop experience and a very pleasant and smooth one at that. I will be back!

The owner John is a great person. He is friendly and understanding. I was in a pinch and glad I chose this over any other pawn shop. Keep in mind, all pawn shops have similar interest rates and offer prices much lower than what you paid for the item. (Retail price and actual price are two different numbers.) If I ever need to, this is the place I’d head back to. I’d give it more stars if possible just on staff alone.

Very friendly staff. The owner is very fair with his pricing. Great for those who don’t want to drive to town.
It is a small location so it may be hard to spot the first time you drive by. There is a good amount of parking.

Great customer service. The owner john is great. Very fair and honest! I went to many shops and john gave me the highest price for my gold. He will beat any other shop’s price. I highly recommend this place. They have been around for over 30 years. If you need cash bring your gold and silver there.

Excellent customer service! John, the owner is honest, friendly, and extremely fair. He is also very professional. Don’t let the small size of the shop steer you away. I needed a short-​term loan so I pawned my Chopard watch. John gave me an awesome deal. I highly recommend Hawaii Gold & Silver Co. I can’t say enough great things about my experience. I am a customer for life!
