We Love this place, Wow, Great Food, good prices, Fun place, Love the Shrimp, Blue Stone Crab. Excellent Claim Chowder in a Bread Basket, The Best, Better then San Francisco, On Wednesdays they have Steak Specials, We Rarely Eat Meat, But, Now on Wednesdays WE DO. The STEAKS Are GREAT. The Staff very nice, friendly & helpful. Been their about 7x in 13 days, it’s a great place, Love the Food, Glad I gave up drinking yrs ago. I Would Never find my way back to Crystal River. Nice views, outside. Very laid back. Worth every penny and the trip, We can’t wait to get back to Florida to Eat at the Freezer WE MISS YOUR FOOD !

Fabulous shrimp! Suggest you order the garlic bread to sop the juice. They open at 10:30am; we arrived at noon & they were already out of oysters, fish & mullet. Our choices were shrimp, shrimp & garlic bread with a side of shrimp. Wednesday is steak day. Get there early.
When you arrive send someone in your party to snag seats while you wait, wait, wait in a long line to order. If you don’t see any seats just lurk around someone who appears to be finishing.
You can bring your dog too.

By explanation, this is part of The Freezer. It’s where you can buy fresh seafood right off the fishing boats, as well as the best smoked mullet dip possible. Free sleeve of saltines! It’s tiny, but has what you need. The entrance is right around the corner from The Freezer’s entrance, same building.
