And so nice that she lives in the same village, it couldn’t be easier for my wife to get to her office. So yes we also strongly recommend her.

I have been going to Peg Smith for years as a client. She is hands down THE BEST massage therapist around the Chicagoland area. For those city dwellers, yes, she is in Homewood. However, I have done the trek down to see her since ’04 and trust me — it is worth it! I have terrible neck and shoulder pain and was once told by my doctor that I would need to go on muscle relaxants or get a massage at least once a week to relieve my pain. Wanting to be completely coherent throughout the day, I chose the latter. Upon a recommendation from a friend, I started seeing Peg. She has been in business for years, and does not advertise at all. People come from all over to see her and she has a steady following! The good news is that she will fit you in. Sometimes you have to leave a message (she rents out a space in Homewood and that’s where her business phone is located), and just tell her the multiple times that you have available. She is prompt in getting back to you and letting you know when your appt. time is. Also, you will realize how reasonable her hourly massage rate is. She also does not accept tips, as she is the only owner and massage therapist at her business. All the massage hourly money goes to her. The best part about Peg is that she knows your body. I have knots all over my neck and shoulders and she knows exactly where I need the pressure and how much to apply without me saying anything. I get hard pressure trigger point therapy for 2 hours on my neck and shoulders for $ 120! Peg also asks you in the beginning of your session about where you are hurting, how much or little pressure you are looking for, and what areas to work on. I get massage for physical pain relief, and she is fantastic! But I have also referred many people to her who get massage for relaxation and of course, she is awesome with that as well. She plays very soothing music, and I can melt away into her warm and comfy cotton massage bed. I can’t say enough great things about Peg. Go to her and see for yourself.
