Don’t know where to begin. Was looking forward to trying out this place. It was disappointing to send back a meal twice. The first time the meal was cold. When the second plate came out some items were scalding hot. I think a microwave may have been used. The first encounter my eggs were cold too. When the second plate came out the over easy eggs were not fully cooked. When I cut into the egg, the white ran out from the center indicating that it was way undercooked. I was looking forward to a great biscuit encounter but was greeted by a hard hockey puck like roll. I really wanted to enjoy my breakfast but couldn’t see a clear solution to all the problems. Don’t think I will go back.

I had the half pound burger steak and was satisfied although I was expected more flavor it wasn’t bad. My wife had pancakes that were kind of chewy but her eggs were just right. Service was ok but they really should add military discounts.

I’m a sucker for a Cracker Barrel lunch. It’s probably the nostalgia that makes me stop in, but it’s the great food that keeps me coming back. This was a quick stop on the way back home from a customer visit in South Deerfield. I didn’t have much time and wanted to get a plate full of grilled chicken tenderloin, corn and mashed potatoes. The service was quick and accurate and the food was just as I remembered it! Kudos!

If you are on the road and need a break this is the place to be. Not that it gives you 5 star cuisine. It is cheap and cheerful. A country plate will set you back for around $ 10. I had catfish, although I asked to have it grilled, but it was fried. It come with 2 sides, enough veggies for me. It also comes with a mini corncake and a small biscuit. Service is cheerful. A gem when you are on a road trip. Plus the country store is a good place to pick up gifts if you have not got your Christmas gig sorted out.

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel Country Store is a gut-busting hoedown of a good time. I almost want to flip all the tables in a fit of pure rage and get a line dance going. Yes, it’s a chain. Yes, the food was created by scientists, but it’s pretty damn good. It’s a southern country based menu complete with grits and biscuits and gravy. Service was fast and our waitress friendly. You definitely won’t leave with an empty stomach. My stomach was so full when I left my diaphragm was paralyzed and I died in the country store. It kills Denny’s and Friendly’s on quantity, quality, and price. It’s real nice just leaving after you’re done and paying up front. Seriously, the food was great. My only wish is that they had fresh squeezed OJ.

We haven’t been here in ages but I love it! My daughter and I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was a bit busy, but we only waited for about 5 minutes. Our host was very kind and prompt and the waiter came right over. We ordered breakfast(as always) and it came out quickly. I wasn’t happy that the charge to add cheese to my scrambled eggs was 1.19 and it was literally one slice. The bacon wasn’t crispy this visit and that was kind of disappointing. The pancakes were amazing though as usual. Good overall experience.

I’m not usually a fan of these type of restaurants but we wanted breakfast and most places had stopped serving by that time of day. We came here for a late breakfast/early lunch before heading home to New Jersey from UMass. Two of us opted for breakfast and one ordered lunch. Everything was good. I ordered the Eggs in a Basket. Surprisingly, yolks were nice and runny. Hard to do because I’ve made them at home. The Hashbrown Casserole was a bit too heavy for my taste. I would have rather had regular home fries. My daughter got a burger and fries. She ordered the burger medium and it came out just right. The fries were steak fries, which I love. Not many places serve steak fries these days and opt for hand-cut. Our friend ordered French toast and bacon which she enjoyed. The coffee could have been stronger. Our server was very nice and service was fast but not rushed. Overall, good experience.

My family & I went for dinner last nite. Were happy wait was 15 minutes but then after ordering dinner, the disappointment began. We go to various Cracker Barrels & have never been so disappointed! Service was ok, dinner was ok, desserts were not good: Coca cola cake seemed to be recently defrosted & served. Apple pie had really soft apples & crust tasted weird… too much baking soda? Flour? Then went to use bathroom as they’re known for ‘the place to go.” Not here! They were very dirty-both mens & ladies. Won’t go back in a hurry. Will go to Windsor instead.

I’m a huge Cracker Barrel fan & whenever we travel we always look for one to stop off at. However, this location was horrible. My daughter and I stopped here for dinner. She ordered chicken n dumplings w Mac & cheese side & apples side. I ordered chicken fried chicken w broccoli & hash brown casserole. The portion sizes were the smallest we had ever seen at a Cracker Barrel. My chicken was so dry it wasn’t good at all. The hash brown casserole which is a favorite of mine was awful. My daughters Mac n cheese had the blackened top of the cheese in her mixture & she was turned off completely. This was my one and only bad experience at a Cracker Barrel. Definitely will never stop at this one ever again. We ordered strawberry shortcake & we’re really disappointed in that as well.

Weare at the Holyoke MA location ! Awful, sat here for 11 minutes before a waitress approached. She only approached because we asked her too. The Resturant is not filled, in our section there are only 4 other tables that have customers. I live in Virginia have a home in TN and the Cracker Barrels are terrific the wait staff friendly. I my opinion this Cracker Barrel is too far north. I will not come here again when visiting my family. The corporation needs to pay attention to this one !!!

What I love about Cracker Barrell is their new wholesome fixings entrees. I always found it a challenge to find something to eat here that wasnt cheesy, fried or in gravy. Not anymore. Oven fried chicken. Sweet potatoes. Steamed veggies. Healthy choices are available too now. A great selection of waist friendly tasty options.

I honestly can’t find anything to complain about here. The service is awesome, the food is delicious, the portions are pretty generous, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a hangover-curing breakfast. It doesn’t hurt that breakfast is served all day either. But my conscience won’t let me give a positive review to an openly anti-gay establishment. Minus 4 stars for that one, Cracker Barrel.

I was happy to be able to try this chain for the first time. The prices are very reasonable. I had the homestyle chicken.

Good breakfast spot. We got take out at Cracker Barrel on a Sunday because it was extremely crowded! This is a chain and has locations all over the place. In the area before being seated, it’s like an old country store, so you can shop while waiting(brilliant idea). We spent about $ 18 for two pancake breakfasts. We ate it at home and the food was very good. The pakcakes were tasty, fluffy, and good sized. The bacon and eggs were made to order. Also, the bacon was good quality and not completely all fat(like at IHOP or Dennys). If you’re near a Cracker Barrel, give them a try for breakfast! Please see my pictures. Xie Xie!

It was nearing the end of a long road trip and my friends and I decided to stop off at Cracker Barrel for a meal. It’s been years since I’ve been inside one but I have fond memories of it. See, Cracker Barrel isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Almost every one seems to have a similar structure. The exterior looks like an old wooden inn out of a Western. Then you go in and there’s a huge«General Store» of sorts with everything from toys to candy to clothing(and many other items to amuse you). The restaurant is walled off from this area, but a quick check in with the hostess gets you back there quickly. My friends and I were seated quickly and in a nice spot by a window. Our server was ridiculously young and seemed a bit nervous(I think it was her first week or something) but she did a fine job. As I looked around at the setting it looked a lot like the last Cracker Barrel I had visited down to the way the various sections were divided, a set of tables that could be put together to form a giant table(the last time I was in one our party was about 20 people). There was even a power plug by our table for me to get a charge on the ol’ iPhone in, score! Fear not parents, this plug had child safety covers on it, something I don’t think I’ve ever seen in a restaurant before. The most memorable items I had were the dumplings. Unlike their Asian cousins these dumplings were basically big, nicely shaped chunks of delicious dough drowning in a chicken flavored sauce. We also dug into their biscuits which were good, but not quite at the addition-level-quality of the Red Lobster cheese biscuits(then again few things are). For dessert I had the Coca Cola chocolate cake. Now, I didn’t honestly taste any Coke flavor in there, but man was this thing *rich*! It was absolutely delicious but I’m glad I had someone to share it with and a tall glass of water to go with it! It’s very sweet but very tasty. I really enjoyed this Cracker Barrel visit. It’s not four star food by any means, but the fact we spent almost as long in the gift shop as the restaurant shows this is a kitchy experience it’s four stars all the way!
