Finally wheeled my bike out of the basement in anticipation of the warmer weather, and noticed that both tires were flat. Had my dad fill them up, but he was concerned that the front tire wasn’t holding air. Figuring that I probably needed a new tube, I called up Scooter’s and asked for a price estimate(I know some shops charge the price of the tube + a significant labor fee). The guy I spoke with(who I think is the owner?) was very nice, and said they only charge for the price of the tube and it should be a quick fix. Took my bike in the next day, and after some expert pushing, prodding and squeezing, he told me that he didn’t think the tires had been filled all the way. A few minutes and some compressed air later, he gave the bike back, said to test out the newly filled tires and come back if they were still having issues. He didn’t charge me for anything and very friendly, and is centrally located in Holt(although Holt is mighty tiny, so what isn’t… still, I like that I can get my bike fixed and stop by CVS right next door). I’m a fan!
