Wet Willie’s

In regards to Wet Willie’s Hard Rock (Hollywood, FL) on 06÷25÷16! It’s pathetic that they count plastic cups and want to charge for water refills (and pushes bottled water that probably costs as much as a daiquiri), after customers would’ve paid ALMOST $ 10 for a daiquiri, $ 6 for fries, and $ 11 for wings, with a party of 10 mind you! It’s outrageous and they ought to be embarrassed, especially based on the price of a damned plastic cup, tap water, and ice, in comparison to even one paid item on the menu! My tab alone was $ 30.30 with the tip already included! You best believe that given the choice, I would not have tipped! Their menu choices are also sorely lacking, as Chuckie Cheese’s options are more vast!

Loved the drinks! Waitress was so cute and nice. Made the night enjoyable. Next to loud music but still able to have conversation.

Hate the people and the music. Drink call a can or hurricane to make your money worth it.

Good location! Unfortunately the last time I was there they I was informed that they stopped selling my favorite drink Chocolate Thunder! Other than that the drinks are good.

Every time we go to Hard Rock, we go to Wet Willie’s. In fact, as soon as we get in the car to go, my fiancé starts to chant «Wet Willie’s. .. Wet Willie’s…» On a few occasions, she has even had me stop on my way home to pick up a Superman for her. We usually get to talk to Greg unless it is really busy. We love animals and Greg has a really cute puppy; however, we have only seen pictures of the baby. Stop in and say «Hi» and enjoy. By the way, they do have a virgin drink called a Weak Willie.

Awesome service! I prefer off days, weekends get hectic. JC is a great bartender very friendly and patient. They let you try before you buy it which is great for customizing your own new flavors. Thumbs up

Wet Willie’s is one of my favorite places to go when in Florida. It is nothing like a refreshing daiquiri on a balmy summer night. I love that I can get my beloved pink flamingo outside of South Beach. This location is right in heart of the bars and clubs in the Hard Rock outdoor complex. It can get quite crowded on the weekend. This spot is a favorite so be prepared for a a little wait but it is worth it. The staff is always friendly, even when bustling with business. They definitely could use some more seating in this area but who needs a seat when you got your favorite daiquiri.

What’s with the no hat policy?!? They act as if they’re the most fanciest bar at Hard Rock. Why does it matter if I want to order and drink my alcoholic slurpie in a hat for Christ sake? It’s Florida! The majority of people are in shorts already and what do you think complements shorts, a hat! Anyways, the slurpies are always great. It gives you a nice buzz and a brain freeze (be careful). The servers aren’t that nice. You must make yourself known to grab a drink so come prepared and with cash if possible. Otherwise, you will be standing there awhile trying to order a drink then process your card. Meanwhile, security that has a hat on will tell you to take your hat off. Lol terrible!

I was so excited to see a Wet Willies outside of South Beach! It is definitely recommended to stop whenever you see one! We had an excellent bartender who made us samples of popular drinks to help us decide before we even asked for them. I had the mudslide and my boyfriend had the banana colada. So good!

Its hot and the drinks are frosty! They have plenty to choose from and you can take it to go and continue to walk about the outdoor area or take it in the casino. It gets packed on the weekends and before the improv show starts, so if you are coming during those times don’t forget your patience. You can sample before you commit but most likely you will like them all. You can also mix and match drinks to make your own combinations. The only downfall I would say is the music, for such a happening spot there should be a better more upbeat playlist. Otherwise most seats in the house offer good people watching and if you are in good company you will have an awesome time. Try the Bob Marley.

Love the frozen drinks. They allow you to sample as much as you want until you decide the perfect drink for you. My favorite is the superman.

I like this wet willies, they always have beautiful female workers, and when i was there they had a dj spinning also… its around other bars and club/​lounges in the back area of the hardrock casino in hollywood florida! Go for the superman. its the strongest and not on the menu of drinks to pick!

This place has some strong drinks but very, very sugary. They do hit the spot on hot summer days at the beach. They did recently increase their prices for no reason which makes them lose a star in my book. They do have some good chicken tenders with great honey mustard.

You have to pretty much know what you are getting into here. Yes the drinks are deliciously over priced. Yes there is a crowd of people fighting for the bar. Yes the «bouncers» will most likely tell you to take off your hats and don’t sit on the Alligator, or concrete wall thing, hell sometimes they will even yell at you for sitting in an actual chair. However, did I mention the drinks are delicious? And its a good spot to hit after throwing some money down the slot machine drain. Bonus points for a good people watching spot.
Oh and you don’t have to try to get to South Beach and fight that parking mess.

Came here to grab a frozen drink with some friends.
They have a balcony that overlooks ocean drive which is a great place to watch people professionally.
We came shortly after they opened at 4:30 or so and it was as if the staff was angry with the fact that we interfered with their quiet time. Everyone looked hungover and acted quite rudely. The big guy taking the order was actually being a dick on purpose like he got enjoyment out of being snide to a person with their family bringing them business.
When people are on vacation, they want to enjoy themselves, I know tourists sometimes require extra attention, ask stupid questions, and in general can be annoying. But let’s face the facts, you work at a tourist hot spot, you should have a smile on your face at all times not the face of a Pug that just smelled vinegar.
People that act unfriendly to their source of income are just miserable people to begin with. It wouldn’t matter if you worked at a tourist bar, or you were a doctor, you’d still bring everyone around you down.
The frozen drinks were pretty damn good though, and you see some ridiculous things happen below from the balcony. So overall it was a fun stop.

It was a beautiful day as Sonya L. and I wandered around the Hard Rock hours before the matchbox twenty concert. Hoping (in vain) to run into Rob Thomas, we decided to pass the time by getting a cool, refreshing drink.
Our bartender was super friendly and told us to ask for as many samples as we wanted, and we certainly took him up on that offer. These may look like wimpy girly drinks, but some of them pack quite a punch. He asked us what type of flavors we liked and offered suggestions for mixes. I wish I’d gotten his name, because he was fantastic. Even though I tried some rather exotic flavors, I decided to stick with an old favorite, the piña colada. I asked for a little bit of the strawberry daiquiri on top, and man, that was a delicious drink.
We contemplated getting a post-​concert drink as well, but I needed to drive home sober. But rest assured, I am making a bee-​line for this place on my next visit to the Hard Rock :)

This is an awesome place to grab a delicious frozen drink (of the alcoholic variety, of course!). Wet Willie’s has an insanely huge amount of flavors, which makes it hard to choose. It makes it even harder to choose when you find out that you can mix-​and-​match flavors!
My friend, Cherine A., and I stopped here prior to a concert at the Hard Rock Live. Since it was several hours before the show, it was a perfect cool treat on a beautiful sunny day. The employee who helped us was awesome — I wish I’d gotten his name. He was incredible friendly and he let us sample several flavors, giving us some suggestions along the way on what we might like (drinks where you can’t taste the alcohol but it’s definitely there, please!). He also gave us each an extra cup to put around the drink since they are definitely very cold.
I ended up getting the Pina Colada with Strawberry on top and it was delicious. I decided to go with a small (which was $ 8) and that was an excellent choice because, man those drinks pack a punch! Keep that in mind when you are ordering.
I would definitely come back here and try out even more drinks. This place rocks!

Great place for casual drinks! Came here while I was on vacation. I have to say, I liked it a lot better than Fat Tuesdays. Service is really kind. Ask to try samples of any of the drinks, they are really helpful. Prices are also really reasonable. $ 9 for a large frozen beverage. $ 8 for a medium and $ 7 for a small. Obvious choice is to go with the large – party time!
One of the fun things about Wet Willie’s is their abundance of different flavors. Like more than one… no problemo! Ask them to mix two, three, or four of your favorites! I’d definitely come back here if I’m ever in the Hard Rock area.

So nice to see that they have a location here. We spotted it the minute we got out of the elevator and my daughter and I both said at the same time «after dinner drinks».
We went back after dinner to grab some drinks. Really like the set up, they serve food, outside high top tables, and machine after machine of frozen goodness. My daughter ordered some kind of specialty drink that involved mixing three flavors and the guy knew how to make it. Huge set up, nice and clean and very fast.
Normally I would have given four stars but the staff was not friendly at all. They guy may have known how to make a drink but he never smiled, he never really even spoke. He was basically a robot looking as if he was forced to do a job. Then a young girl was also there and she seemed to be the same way.
Great location, reasonable prices, good frozen delights, had my awesome frozen margarita which gives me some major brain freeze, but oh delish.
