Excellent food. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. The duck fried rice and friend wontons have always been my go-​to food. The only reason I’m withholding one star is because the service is not the best. Your glass can easily sit on the table the entire time without being refilled. Still, I will continue to frequent this place as it’s the only place where I can get the best fusion of caribbean and chinese food. At night, the place turns into a lounge/​club with soca, reggae and calypso music.

So the only reason I come to this place is because it’s halal and close to my house. Defiantly not all that at all. Service is wayyyyy to slow. To order take out for. a cheese burger takes 45 minutes. Now in that time I can make it myself and at least quality wise it’ll be much better. Choose elsewhere to eat if possible. No plus points other than being halal.

If you are looking for that Caribbean style Chinese food then you need to get into Tropics. OMG. Forget all those other places. On this trip I had Chinese but they have a full menu of Caribbean dishes.
I know from the outside it may be a little daunting and then inside is sometimes a bit too dark for you to see but hey, you know where your mouth is to be able to shovel in this delicious food.
The portions are huge. I had the duck and lo mein and had left overs for dinner. The wontons are a MUST get. They also have a wide range of drinks available including Caribbean soda.
It is also a space for clubs, parties. There are pool tables also for entertainment. Sometimes it can be very busy but it is worth the wait. You can also call ahead and order.

Always crave the wontons!
Everything is great and the peppa sauce is awesome ! Always ask for extra and they give you enough.
The jerk chicken, rice, noodles, chicken wings and house rice is awesome. The drinks are cold and never a long wait.
There’s pool and dominoes available and music playing. The bathrooms are OKAY and the dance floor is on the other side. Usually open the ini the restaurant for events with another bar.
Tropics cater and never a long wait for anything. My family, and friends have been going here for years. Very personal and a lot of regulars.
Bring family or friends from back home here. It’s really nice and the price is right!

Don’t let the outside fool you! The food is to die for! Chicken and rice, Curry goat and Roti, potato balls, pepper shrimp! I could go on and on and you must have the rum punch as well! I moved away from South Fl and on ever trip back as soon as the plane touches down I place my pickup order! Service can very slow so grab a few drinks the wait its worth it! I have been eating here for several years!

I have been getting food from here for years, I’m talking about YEARS! While not all those years the food was good, something happened I’m not sure, but they got back on track. If you like West Indian Caribbean food, you should try this place. Along with being a restaurant, lounge and nightclub (certain nights) you will also find a pretty good bar, decent drinks, pool tables, and gaming machines. Mostly everything I have had from here is pretty good. Their hot wings are nice. They also have TVs that you could watch sports on if you want to sit at the bar. They also do catering and you can call ahead and place your order so you don’t have to wait if you want to take-​out.
