Salon 180 Degrees

The salon is under new ownership. Her name is Daniella. And in the 31 years on this earth this is the most amazing haircut I have ever had. I showed her a picture and she did it. Perfectly. I’m super picky, uptight and she was just amazing. There was a little wait but it was worth it. Sooooo worth it.

I went to Salon 180 for a Ouidad cut by Jorge. Let me tell you… HE IS THE BEST ! I went on a Thursday and walked in for my scheduled appointment and sat down in his chair with no wait. Jorge took his time to listen to what I wanted… he made suggestions and delivered a PERFECT curly hair cut. He took his time with explaining how to apply the product and style at home. I will definitely be back. If you are a CURLY girl… go see Jorge !

I’ve been going to the beauty shop for almost 8 years, LOVED the ambience, the friendly faces, the talented stylists, the sangria and the great sense of humor. For me, it was an escape from work, kids and realty — knowing that I would leave looking like a million bucks (prices where okay)
I don’t know if the new owners are jinxed or simply have NO clue on how to run a hair business, but for almost half a year, I’ve seen employee after employee leave. 1 nail girl, 2 receptionists and at least 4 stylist that are worth remembering. The products are not the same, color is horrible (if they have any), the sangria tastes like if it’s watered down, the stylists that are still there have an attitud as they’d be walking on eggshells you can cut the tension with a knife. I’ve witnessed screaming matches between the owners and hairdressers (on 2 occasions), sadly it’s NOT a professional, friendly environment anymore.
The employees that are working there are ok, but after all the good ones left, I wouldn’t recommend this place! !
There is nothing worth going for.
Oh! Did I mention that they raised there prices? !

Just had a Shellac manicure W Ava. Definitely the best manicure ever ! Also, the best price in town! You can’t wrong at Salon 180. Close to Kohl’s an — extra bonus *****

They may be ok at styling and some people may find them friendly and all, but this place has no respect or appreciation of time. A few times I went and I was told it would be 15 mins wait, then after 20 – 30 mins I ask and they tell me that it would be another 30 mins. Somehow they’re always «running late!» This last time I left and decided not to go again.
To me, punctuality tells a lot about a person, much rather a business.
Another issue I had was the talkative staff. Omg! Somehow they can never tell who’s interested in a useless convo from who’s not. I’m not the kind who’d chitchat with the hairdresser but they just won’t stop! And I don’t like the fact that some of them start talking trash about some of their customers, that’s just mean and disrespectful.
That’s just what I think of the place; I know some people may have a different opinion but that was based on my personal experience.

I love this place! My stylist Tom really took care of my hair– he was amazing! He even recommended a few products that work great on my hair.

I decided to try this place out for a pedicure. It was a great decision. Christy is awesome! She is very detail oriented, extremely nice, and very welcoming. That is hands down the best massage I have had during a pedicure. I will definitely be back.

Smiling faces, chandeliers, complimentart Sangria and COLOR that will turn heads! See Rob Paul he is absolutely the BEST when it comes to color and cut! They take time with you and LISTEN to what you want, then create a masterpiece and you can be their next work of art. Oh, and don’t forget to see Shelly too. She’s the brow professional and will get your brows in tip-​top shape, angled and plucked to perfection.
They also do nails; however, I have not tried that service.
Overall very friendly staff that are tried and true professionals waiting to GLAM you!

Sara is absolutely phenomenal! She is a master colorist, I had never dyed my hair (natural brunette) and wanted to become a red head and she gave me an amazing shade of red. She is not only a phenomenal stylist/​colorist but she is also a great person to chat with. You will not regret having your hair done by Sara.

Salon 180 gave me an amazing transformation, the manager was very attentive and ensured comfort for all clients. Sara did my hair and I was almost in tears. .She took such time and care into my highlights they came out picture perfect. I would recommend everyone to come have the same experience, will deff come back again :)

Salon 180 is fantastic esoecially Josh he is a miracle worker! Everybody is very friendly and really know their stuff, from cut to color they are the best and reasonably priced.

I can’t speak for all of the hair stylists here but the one that did my hair absolutely butchered it. I will never go back! Everything is wrong. I paid for a haircut and single process color and I got my roots colored and an uneven haircut.

I have been going here for 6 years or so and Ren is my stylist. He is fabulous. A true artist. Shelly is a great make up artist. This salon styled myself and my bridesmaids and we had a blast. The whole staff is terrific. I send anyone looking for a stylist to Salon 180.

Only got a haircut once and it was ok from what I remember. This review is for Shelly. She does waxing and facials there and she is the best I’ve ever found. Always leaves my eyebrows exactly how I want them! Love her so much and how she leaves my eyebrows. If you’re looking for someone to not totally mess up your brows go to Shelly.

Located in the plaza where i work i go at times for a quick blow out and treatment. i have only gone with Mike love him, great guy but i have a regular stylist for my color which i never plan on changing elsewhere. i believe they use a lot of Redken products which i personally don’t care for. they are a full service salon, they have manicure, pedicures, waxing, well all the norms. the salon is very elegant inside, they always have fresh coffee and sangria available which is very nice. however i believe it’s a little pricy. if you refer a friend they provide $ 10 off your service.
PS: Make a appointment because they could get busy but with a appointment I’ve never waited.

I’ve been following Wren and Shelley (the owners) around from Salon to Salon for years. Finally they opened up their own Salon in the Sheridan Plaza called Salon 180. The salon has a nice comfortable environment with local art on the walls. They always provide great service and do a little extra to make the customer feel like a friend. I’ve recommmended Salon 180’s Services numerous times and everyone always is more than satisfied. In the past whenever I have strayed from my normal practices and tried another place I have always went back and wondered why I bothered to try something new. Shelley is the only person I let wax my eyebrows and they always come out exactly how I like it. She is very talented :) Wren does a great cut and I always feel great walking out of Salon 180. I’d recommend anyone to try this salon!
